Finally they finished stirring and Momo took a sip of her hot chocolate, "Mmm. Perfect!" She said smiling. "Now you can read us your story Ben!"
((wow the hot chocolate is finally done! lol))
Cosmo and Ayla walked away from the commotion in the middle of the street and made their way to the restaurant. Some people were looking in their direction with a strange look on their face. "Just smile and wave, smile and wave." Cosmo said grinning. Apparently, this had happened before.

"May I have some marshmallows too, young master Ben?" Lusia finished stirring and set the spoon in the sink. "This smells very nice. But I am worried about the others...Syrith and Aqua. I do hope they return soon."

Kiyoko also finished stirring. She had asked for marshmellows already, so there wasn't a need to ask again. After all, that would be rude, and he just got back in here. She solemly nodded in agreement with Lusia, for this had been worrying her from the back of her mind, like a buzzing fly that refused to leave. Both creatures had volunteered so bravely, so selfishly. If Nate had hurt them, killed them, taken away what wanted to be her family.........she wiped her eyes, pretending there was something in them, but really moving away any trace of tears.
Nate took of his headphones, noticing that everyone was leaving. This was bad; he knew the man had something to do with it. Realizing that it was about to be just the two of them, he suddenly got up and brushed his shoulder, pretending to have a stomachache. He started heading for the door to another train cart.

Ben set the bag in front of Kiyoko, letting her get as many as she wanted. Then he gave some to Lusia and Momo. "Of course you can have some, Lusia." Ben smiled. "We can heat the other cups later if they get cold. Don't worry about Syrith and Aqua...they will take care of eveerything." Ben put some marshmallows in his own hot chocolate and began to slowly sip it.
"Careful, it's hot!" he warned. "Alright, I'll read my story. Where do you guys want to go to read?"

Although Ben had just as much of an idea of how it would turn out as Kiyoko did, the words were comforting. No point in worrying about it for now; it wouldn't fix a thing. She grinned and thanked Ben, putting about five or six of the marshmellows into the drink. They looked like little booeys (sp) in a miniature lake. She then sipped her drink; the coco warmed her throat in a good way, as well as traveled throughout the rest of her spiritually. It was very comforting, and seemed to lift her spirits for now.
She looked forward to Ben's stories; he was a wonderful writer, and tended to the imagination well. "Dunno." she answered honestly, "but somewhere nice and cozy."

"Oh, let's go sit on the big comfy couches in the lounge!" She took another sip of her hot coco, after adding a few fluffy marshmallows to it. "But, Ben...where is your notebook?"

Ben thought for a moment...where had he put it. He couldn't remember. "I...I don't know." His mind raced, trying to think where he had left it. He sighed. "I'll have to find it tomorrow," he said sadly.

Lusia's eyes lit up. "I can try to find it, if it will please dear Momo." She set her mug down on the counter. "I'll go find it while you all get settled into the lounge."

As Kiyoko was sipping her drink, she realized where the book might be. She remembered seeing him write in it while sitting under on of the trees in the backyard forest while she was playing and pretending to fly. She looked out at the rain. I hope he remembered to bring it in, or it'll be ruined. she thought. Although she didn't want to bring the possibility up, she had no choice. "Ben, did you bring it in from outside in the backyard?" she asked, hoping he'd say yes. Even if it was a "of course I did, what am I, and idiot?" yes, it'd be fine with her.

"Really? But what if it is outside? It's storming outside.." she looked down, a frightened look in her eyes after thinking about the storm. She shook it off and looked back at Lusia. "Should we look inside first? I can help you look for it, I don't want you to have to by yourself." Then she asked Ben, "You did bring it inside with you when we came in...didn't you?" She hoped he had...

Ben looked from Kiyoko to Momo...had he brought it inside with him? That was a good question. Not wanting anyone to go outside to look for it he answered, "I think I brought it in. No need to look outside." He tried to smile. "It might be in the living room...maybe I just forgot after all the excitement from the creatures and all." He tried to sound calm. But he really didn't remember bringing it in with him when they came in to eat.

Lusia made her way to the living room, keeping an open eye for the notebook. "What color is it?" she looked over her shoulder and asked Ben.

"It's blue. It has a plastic cover on it. And it says, 'No Repeats!' in black sharpie on the front. The corners are kind of bent and the back cover is torn off. There are also some drawings on the front..." He gave a lot of detail for just a simple little notebook. But it did matter to him. But it mattered a lot less than some things...like people's safety. That's why he didn't want anyone to go looking outside for it.

Momo began looking around the kitchen. She doubted that it would be there, but she figured it wouldn't hurt to look. She looked on the counter, under the table, and under the sink, but it wasn't there. She sighed. "I hope we can find it..."
