Akira's sobs slowed as she was told he would be okay. But some tears still rolled down her cheeks. She sighed and gently pulled Jake's face into her lap. She started to stroke his hair. She didn't know why but she felt like something had connected between them. She felt like somehow she was attached to him and he had to be in her life. She had lost her parents when she was very young and was tired of being alone. She never really thought about love. Until now. Could this possibly be what it feels like to care about someone more then yourself? She asked her self as her eyes raked over his face memorizing every feature. "Jake? Can you hear me?" She asked softly after she felt him twitch. She sighed again. She couldn't explain or understand the strange feeling that was tugging at her heart when she saw him hurt. She had never reacted in such a way before and she had been around plenty of people that got hurt. Especially when she first got her powers.

The Headmaster frowned as she recalled the events, feeling a sort of connection. He stayed silent and in the background as the medical team worked. When Liriale gave her instructions on Jake's care, the Headmaster nodded and committed himself to following these orders, though he had a feeling Jake would not want to stay in one spot for very long.
"I need help transporting him to the Doctor's office," he asked to the staff. Immediately, many volunteered. With their help, he moved Jake to the Doctor's office, allowing Akira to coddle him throughout the trip.
Once everyone was settled and Jake was secured in the office, it was about 12:30, already halfway into second period. After some internal decisions, he walked into his office and made an announcement.
"In light of recent events, the second session of class will be canceled for today," said the overhead voice, and nothing more.

Second session? was there even a first.. Grant groaned hearing the announcement, now back inside the hall. He was following a person who seemed to be of significant importance to the school and it lead him to an office with the words 'Headmaster' written across.
Out of vauge annoyance and slight curiocity he knocked against the door frame with his balled fist.

In response to the knocking, the Headmaster emerged from his dark room and closed the door behind him. His cheery disposition had somewhat returned.
"How can I help you, Mr. Leory?" he asked, then answered himself. "If you have only arrived, I understand your confusion. I'm sorry to disappoint you, but class has ended for the day. 2D would have been you first class, which begins at 9:00. Your second class, which has been canceled today, would have been any you choose," he explained, pointing again to the list, like he had with the other student. "Your dorm room is the first empty one you choose," he continued, hoping that would be suffice information. In case it was not, he finished his explanation with a question, "Do you have any questions?"
~~~
Tsuki looked up at the extravagant ceiling as the announcement ran, like she often did.Its news was disappointing, but expected. There was no way any teacher could have conducted a reasonable class after that scene. Shrugging nonchalantly, she began her walk to her room.
Once she arrived, she placed her backpack gently on the floor and collapsed on her bed. Lying on her back, she stared at the ceiling with her hands behind her head. 'What should I do now? I have no homework and no friends,' she thought, pondering her next action.
Standing astonished for a moment Grant wondered how he knew what he wanted... he probably had kids coming to him like this every day... "Uhm..." He said clearing his throat lighlty. "Where... might the dormatorys be?" He said, his thick accent showing through a bit.
The Headmaster was a comforting sight, a beacon for information to help him get settled in at school. He ran his fingers nervously through his unkempt short hair and looked behind him quickly as if looking for the dorms himself.
"Ah! Sorry," the Headmaster said, apologizing for not giving such important information. "Across the room there," he pointed at the opposite wall, where two double doors resided. "Make sure you enter the one on the right, not the left!" he advised with a smile. The entrance on the right had the simple golden word of "Boys" above it, while the door on the left was labeled "Girls." "Is there anything else you need? Although lunch is over, I'm sure there are a few stands that are still open," he said, pointing to the decorated door that led outside.
Chyna didn't mind being left alone. She stood up from the bench slowly as she heard the following anncouncment. She started inside and pushed though the doors. She was looking for the Headmaster, as he seemed to pretty much know everything. She strode over to him, waiting politely as he was talking to another student. He was new, it was obvious. He was giving him directions similar to the ones given to her.
She looked at her feet and messed with the string again. I wonder how Akira's doing. It's been, like, forever, she thought as she pondered the possiblities. She decided what she would say to the Headmaster in her spare time.
"Um, Headmaster, would you happen to know where Akira Amori is? Secondly, would you mind telling me what happened today to get second period canceled? All I saw was a girl about to get hit by a kickball, then a bright light, and a crowd of people around Mr.Jake Prior. I could tell he was injured somehow..."
She waited politely with her hands behind her back, clasped together, and a slight smile on her face.
He shook his head, Seeing the girl he spoke quickly as she seemed she needed the headmasters attention. "I think thats all i'll need for now... I'll just go try to settle in... Thank you Headmaster..." he was nervous to talk to him to say the least, but he smiled softly and turned to the large double doors behind him.
Opening them he moved through, looking left he saw 'Girls' then right he saw 'Boys' Probably not the greatest idea to keep us so close together here... he thought before heading down the hall a ways to find an empty room, moving inside he looked around the Dorm. It was comfortable and spacious...
He dropped the pack that he had on his back, a few extra pair of clothes that would last him until he could buy some new ones... He tossed the bag on his bed and headed out into the hall of the dorm rooms...
"Good first day..." he muttered, hoping to meet some of his classmates before the next day.
The Headmaster noticed the Chyna coming and answered Grant before she came closer.
"You very welcome, Mr. Leory. Now, if you will excuse me," he excused himself and turned to Chyna, giving her his full attention. After he heard her questions, he paused, then spoke.
"I believe Miss Amori is in the doctor's office, located in room 2B, looking after Mr. Prior. And as for your second question, you are correct. Mr. Prior was severely injured, and every one is distraught about the incident, so classes have been canceled for the day," he explained. "Would you like to accompany me to see him? I'm sure he would love some company," he asked her, not actually sure if the teacher wanted any company at all. He did know, however, that Akira was very upset, and he thought it best for her to see someone other than Jake for a moment. Chyna was also concerned for her friend, so this decision would benefit them all
(( Sorry, had to eat dinner ^^' ))
She nodded. "Yes, I would like to accompany you." She walked slowly to the infirmary. She glanced around at the walls and windows, taking in the marvel of the works of art.
She sprung lightly up the stairs to the second floor, then walked into the second room on the floor, aka 2B. She saw Akira leaning desperately over Jake, crying almost, and Jake looking in a not-so-great physical state. "Oh my..." she whispered. She tentatively stepped over and put her hand on Akira's elbow. She hoped she would be okay.
Having an injured teacher was not okay. How would she learn about her element? After all, she barely knew anything at all. She sighed, for many reasons. Misfortune happened at her first day. Complete misfortune. Though she had to admit, it was exillerating...in a bad way.
Liriale and Nurse Bone sat exhausted upon their chairs in the medical office. After the whole ordeal during lunch and rushing ahead to prepare Jake’s arrival onto one of the patient beds had been hard work. Now, Jake laid asleep on the patient bed. He was hooked up to the monitor, which constantly checked his vital, and an IV bag pumped nutrients into his blood stream so that he did not dehydrate and received adequate nutrients to allow his body to heal. Akira, had been situated on a couch-like chair that had been placed near Jake’s bed. Akira was still bent over Jake, and the two medical personal gave them their space. Madam Bone rose from her sit, “Well dear,” she whispered to Liriale. “I’m going to head home; if you need anything don’t hesitate to call.” Liriale weakly smiled up at Nurse Bone, thanked her and watched her friend walk out the door. Liriale, tired herself, rose up from her chair, stretched, and poured herself a cup of coffee from the new coffee machine Madam Bone bought earlier. Liriale wanted to chat with Leah, but knew that she shouldn’t stray too far from her patient in case something happened, plus Leah was probably busy setting up new computers in the library. Liriale sighed, took another sip, and began to read through stacks of medical journals she had brought with her. Just then two visitors popped into the office.
"Very good," the Headmaster said with his charming smile. It seemed his personality had recovered. They walked to the infirmary. As Chyna admired the decor, the Headmaster gazed fondly at her, as if she were a daughter. He thought of all his student as children.
Once they reached the room, the Headmaster stayed at the door, allowing Chyna to comfort her friend. He wanted to speak to Jake, but he would do so at a later time when it was just the two of them and he was awake.
Instead, he walked over to Liriale, who looked exhausted.
"I cannot begin to express my thanks, Miss Montoya. Is there anything you need?" he asked. He owed her a great debt.
Chyna looked over at the teacher sipping coffee. "Hello, I'm Chyna." she greeted her. "You're Miss Montoya, right? You teach the...Biology elective don't you?" she asked, watching her. She smiled at her, giving her a silent thank-you. After the Headmaster's words, she must've had an important role in helping Jake, which would've made her friend, Akira, feel better. And having her friends feel better made her feel better.
Liriale smiled up at the Headmaster, “No, no. I’m content right now, my patient is in stable condition and Leah promised to bring over dinner and keep me company later. Will classes resume accordingly tomorrow? Who will substitute Professor Prior’s class” she inquired.
Liriale saw the new student look over towards her and the Headmaster and introduce herself. Liriale smiled at Chyna and reflected on how she very attentive towards her friend, Akira. Such friends are precious. "What a lovely name. Yes I am, and I teach Expert water as well as Biology." she replied to Chyna's question.
She smiled softly. "Expert water...hopefully I could be in your class someday. Right now I'm just a beginner and I barely know anything. I can do a few tricks with a water sphere but that's about it," She laughed at herself. Though with the help of the school she was positive she'd be able to do much more than that. "So is Mr.Pri-I mean Jake going to be alright? He likes to be called Jake and not Mr. anything so I'm trying to get used to that." She smiled lightly and looked back over at Akira. She looked as if the feeling "care" was new. Chyna frowned in confusion. Most people would've at least felt a bit caring for someone. Anyone before the age of eighteen. Though no one was normal here, not even herself.
