Eulalia Danae Acelr Corellia's darkness extended suddenly to include Celledor and several feet around her, and both she and her crystal sword became blindingly bright as she slashed down with all her strength and vibration through the barrier at the edge of the park.
[9 4 2 50] ((in reverse order--vibration, the darkness/brightness, sucking at the life of the barrier. Also, sword is a semi-holy object, if that makes any difference. Overkill, I know, but that's Core for you. *shrug*)) The barrier broke open, but rebuilt quickly. At most one person could escape per a slash. Before it could finish rebuilding, Corellia slashed again, this time sideways.

ArynChris Eulalia Danae Aaron squinted his eyes, then nodded, "That's my mom." He pointed to the red curls on his head, as if it was so obvious. "See?" "Child," the Baroness said in an old and tired voice, harsh and cracking, "that is no one's mother, regardless of what hair it wears."
She let go of his hand and pulled off his mask, handing it back. "Wear--" she started to lose her voice--"what... protection you can..."
The Baroness suddenly burst into flames, vaporizing her own clothing but barely giving off any heat for Aaron and Cloud. When the fire died down, she was dressed only in a sooty black leotard and boots. Her hands shed ash as she swung one arm back and formed a stick of raw pink-orange energy in it (think deadly like a lightsaber, but no handle) and the other swung forward for a shield of the same energy to form on her forearm. Her hair remained untouched and impecable, but exactly half her face was masked by black soot. Her gray eyes were stone cold and eerily round.
"One of us must protect the boy, Acelr," Cloud said cautiously.
Acelr only rushed forward into the fury of the battle, making it obvious who would be left that difficult task. "I know my own mom," Aaron grumbled in irritation, but sat back with cloud. "She's crazy."

Three figures formed around her, reaching to burn away at her with their very touch.

Miran grabbed ahold of the queen easily enough, but she suddenly slipped through his hands as if she was made of wind itself, reforming a step away. The explosive charge sent the sand man shattering, but the bits of sand floated in the wind, reforming the creature.
The vines slash away from Drake's claws. But they moved to civilians, the spiked vines grabbing onto those who were panicking, and pulling them into the ground itself.
The golem slid on the ball bearings, the stone monster falling and crumbling to the ground. But he slowly started rising back up.
The queen of spades turned as the blue blur came at her. The vines attacked Sahira, pulling the girl away from her, and crushing her body with spiked thorns and vicious force.
The queen of diamonds smiled, and she moved from the ball of flame, molding into water, that flowed into a puddle surrounding Verve's feet. A hand formed from the puddle and grabbed a hold of his ankle, and playfully tickled. (delirium is so frickin' weird)

Acelr is, by the way, completely insane. twisted Just because I can't bring her into the storyline doesn't mean I can't still have fun with memories.
The woman who was sometimes the Baroness Widow "A.C." Aryn Chris dove into the fray with a hawk's scream and an enormous grin. (please see Acelr avatar and full sig pic--viewable in profile or separate window) Neither knowing nor caring about the individual powers of the queens, she slashed at some vines on her way to the Queen of Spades. Her, Acelr rushed at with her shield in the fore to force the queen backward.

Batman waited for the golem to reform as he reached for the next tool on his belt.
Instead of colliding, Blitz dashed by the queen, hoping to get a glimpse of the dagger Ora was talking about. ""
Verve cursed as the puddle brought him to a halt, then began to laugh as the tickling began. Reacting like most people when being tickled, Verve jerked to get away. Accompanying that normal reaction, was also a blast of energy coming from his foot.

The kick did little but heat up Corellia's foot. however the holy sword did have some effect on the other firey figure, the top half of it dispersing as it was severed form the core.
As Acelr rushed towards the queen of spades a stone wall built up in front of the queen, between them, right where Acelr was flying. She let out a slight laugh, and sheathed the silver dagger beneath her cloak.
The queen of diamonds hissed at the energy that rippled into her puddle, she pulled away, reforming. "I don't like how you play." She pulled out her own dagger, silver and long, with a lilly on the handle. "I think it's time to kill you now." She sliced at him, moving with a quick fluid motion as smooth as water.

Aaron gave a slight shrug, just don't hurt my mom, please.
Sahira crushed and broken was tossed to the side by the vines, a crumpled mess on the ground. (one less character for me to deal with.)
Erica, who was about to slice open the fake-Blitz's throat, had obviously by now moved away from that. She scanned the crowd until she saw what she was looking for, in a woman with blond hair. It was the way she stood, the way she watched the events, and the contemplation on her face. Erica knew her daughter immediatley. She rushed over to Oralia. And in a low whisper demanded to know everything.

The darkness around them all grew thick and heavy, oppressive (Sorry, Celledor!). Only the crystal sword and Corellia herself could be seen, glowing blindingly white so her movements could not easily be followed. Nothing and no special sense could see through it, but she and her sword would show in even a blind man's eyes.Acelr's shield burned straight through the stone wall, and the woman followed it unhindered. twisted

Sighting the fallen Sahira, Cloud abruptly grabbed Aaron and tucked him under one arm, running to the alien princess. "Another lady fighter..."

Casper got sucked into Pilot's accidental twister as it grew and destroyed a fountain, killing all the water creatures and all the people not quite drowned yet.
The Butterfly reached the throne and climbed up on it.
The Knave put on an amiable smile and approached Ruby, Cordelie, and the neon angel, juggling. "Ah! Tis the goddess again, and new friends," the Knave greeted. "Now I seem to remember the goddess liking my entertainment... Do you suppose your new friends would like to see it, as well? I even have new tricks."
And the Knave winked.
The former 3 Musketeers bar reached the trees, only to stumble into the darkness around Corellia and Celledor. Immediately, she felt the breath squeezed out of her by the weight of her own bitterness, and ran from it.

Sahira was a bloody mess, from both thorns and ruined body. There was little that could be done for her, and it was clear she was not likely to survive much longer despite any help given.
Aaron just grumbled.
Across the field Ora glanced up at her mother. "The silver daggers, they can only be harmed by the silver daggers which they carry themselves. The power of millions of souls has practically made them invincible."

The very dirt beneath Corellia's feet began to liquify, pulling her, and Celledor, and all those around her, into it's belly. No eyesight was needed for that, and earth was always accustomed to darkness.
The shield moved into the queen of spades. But she was not pushed to side, she was firm as stone, standing hard and still. As the shield hit her, a slight scent of burning dirt filled the air, but that was it. The shield gave her no more harm. She reached out to wrap her hand around Acelr's throat. (Silver daggers.....*coughcough*...>.> <.< >.>))
