((Double post of dooom))
Kai, in a heap on the floor nearby, groand as he woke up. By some miracle of fate, his sword had slid back into it's sheath as kai had been plucked from the initial wreckage of the underwater city. He got up and rubbed his eyes and asked "Hey guys what's going o...n..." then he saw the battle in front of him, the shadows seeming to incenerate nicely, he just sat wondering why he felt so bad.

Blake walked up into the sunlight even further, seeming to have a conversation with Emon. Suddenly, he fell to his knees and started to cry. "No, you promised me. It can't be like this.." He said between tears

'Blake...' thought yumi as she witnessed his tears. she walked over to maverick. "What's happening?" she whispered very quietly.

Not even opening his eyes, Blake told them what had to be done. "In order to save myself from a fate worse than death, i have to destroy these idols. But they can't be destroyed unless i kill their living counterparts. Do you know what that means?" He said, clenching his fists.

Akamaki nodded as she shifted to her homid form again. Walking up next to them she said "It means you have to kill the counterparts.. but that also means murder."

Slowly getting up, Blake nodded. "That's right, their counterparts. That means that the very beasts that fought with me and protected me... I have to kill them." He said, sheathing his sword. He then called out to Emon in his strange language.

Kai just stared, these things were beyond his knowledge, and he could only wonder why such events were happening.

Blake smiled a bit, and looked to them. "I'm glad to hear that." He raised his sword to the light, adn it emitted a beam pointing towards a wall of stone far in the distance. "That is where we'll find Valus." he said to the group. He started walking out of the temple and started to make his way towards his first opponent.
