I would say it needs a bit more of that pale beige color...
The horse's head adds a lot of the dark purple to the bottom for you, so you don't have to worry as much about getting dark purple to the bottom half of the avatar.
The horse's mane is light purple... that color needs to be added to the avatar.
The bare arms and feet offer a canvas for you to add more items...
You've done a very good job. x.x As I said... that's a hard item to work with and this is a tough task. ><
