"Well, if that is where this new and exciting information has to come from, then let's get personal," she said with a laugh, perking up as the pokemon bartender brought their food out to them. As the slab of burger was set before her, literally the largest cheeseburger she had ever seen, her eyes went wide. She had been half joking when she ordered it, never expecting anything this big.
"Ummm....thank you," she said to the pokemon waiter, giving him a shocked smile before looking back at the plate before her. She laughed slightly as Cody asked if she would be able to eat everything that was set in front of her.
"Well...I can put away some food, but I think you should help me out a little."

"Works for me," Cody laughed, not knowing whether he was replying to her first or second comment, or maybe both? "Um... Oh!" he perked up. "I got something. My parents were killed by Team Magma and I was adopted by Flannery, the Lavaridge Gym Leader, when I was twelve." He hoped that hadn't ruined any feelings she might have for him. He was starting to slowly move on from the Sammy thing. Maybe this would be a good thing? He didn't know yet, but if Adie liked him, more power to her.

x-cupids arrow-x Sammy looked over to Mr. Ginji, after coming out of her "trance" of sorts. "I'm assuming they want you to be in a boyband? No offense, Mr. Ginji, but I don't think that suits your style," she chuckled mockingly. "What's up?" she asked, reffering to the ringing book. "Th-the-the Pokemon Academy wants me to teach a course on the modern day mysteries of the Pokemon world." Ginji smiled complacently, it had been a recent fascination of his, but could the Academy do no better then him?

Taking a knife, she cut a large chunk of cheeseburger out, offering it to him as she listened to what he had to say. At first, a look of shock came to her features as he told her that his parents were killed when he was young. She was not sure how she should respond to it, but thankfully he followed that up with something more positive.
"I bet she was cool to love with. Especially with her being a gym leader and all," she said, taking a big bite of the burger and instantly reaching for a napkin sitting on the bar. This was definitely not the healthiest thing she could be eating at the moment....in fact, it was about the least healthy things she could be stuffing into her mouth.

"Yeah. I was kind of on a quest to find Team Magma and my friend Star when I joined Team Aqua. She was kidnapped by Team Magma the same day. It was devastating," he looked at his feet the whole time while he was speaking. He noticed the considerably large chunk of hamburger in front of his face and gladly took it from her hand, setting it on a napkin while he dug into his nachos. "Thanks," he smiled, not really sure how he was going to finish all this food.

"Well...if there is ever anything I can do to help, please let me know. That sounds awful," she said in a sincere tone, once she had managed to swallow the mass of cow in her mouth. She watched him eye the vast amounts of food before them, laughing slightly.
"I think we are gonna need a doggy bag."

"Thanks," he said, trying to hold back a tear. She seemed to care about him more than anyone he had ever met before and it meant alot to him. On a lighter note, he could only stare at the food in awe, finally realizing exactly how much there still was. "Yeah. I think so too," he laughed, accidentally revealing the glob of half-chewed nacho in his mouth.

"Houndour will at least like the burger. I don't usually feed her table scraps, so when she gets them she'll be one happy camper," she said with a laugh, reaching out with a napkin and wiping a bit of nacho cheese from the corner of his mouth before settling into another huge bite of food, wiping the corners of her own mouth with a laugh.

"That works," he smiled, kind of embarrassed that his date had to wipe his mouth. He should have known something was there. "Do you ever plan on making your Houndour evolve or do you like her the way she is?"

Grinning as she swallowed, seeing that she had made him a little uncomfortable with wiping his mouth. Clearing her throat, she sat the napkin down, a pondering look coming across her features as he posed his question about her Houndour.
"Well...it would be cool if she evolved someday, but I'm in no rush. She can evolve whenever she wants to, or not evolve at all and I'll love her just the same. Not to mention, she takes up enough of my bed as it is." A laugh escaped her as she spoke, obviously joking about the last part of her sentence.

"That makes sense. It's the same with most of my pokemon too, though sometimes I make the mistake of rushing them. Not Ampi, though," he held up the Master Ball. "This is my buddy. He never leaves my side, very much like your Houndour, though he is already evolved." Cody stuck Ambipom's ball back on his belt and continued eating. "We should have a battle for fun sometime." he smiled, completely shrugging off the mouth-wiping incident.

"Yea, I think it is really important to let them make their own decisions with those kinds of things. I'm sure your pokemon are really happy to have such an awesome and understanding trainer," she said with a smile, looking at the masterball as he produced his pokemon. She had seen the two of them together quite a lot, and so it was nice to know that someone else cared for their pokemon like she did.
"Oh my gosh, we should totally have a battle sometime! I don't know how well I'll do, but I am always up for a challenge," she said with a laugh, grinning at him.

"I think they are, but hey; what do I know?" he laughed slightly. "Thanks for the compliment though. I don't think I'm that good of a trainer but I appreciate your opinion." He noticed a bit of grease from the burger resting in a corner of her smile and was quick to grab it, softly wiping her face with a napkin of his own. He smiled back at her and continued.
"Well, don't expect me to go easy on you," he chuckled, knowing that if he used Dragonite, it would be completely unfair.
