((TFP---Serena))

Serena remained where she was standing and stared in semi-disbelief at Will. The damn b*****d was sitting so smugly on her bed looking all clean and shiny. Not one hair on his perfect blonde head stuck out of place. “Annoying…” When Will stated that he was there to take Serena back, the white haired woman blinked somewhat confused by his words. “Take me back? Now? But…that’s a bit sudden….” Serena was sure there was some things she needed to do in New Exire and Kojiro…what of him? “So that’s it? I have spent nearly a year living and working with these people and now you turn up and tell me that it is over?” Lie down? Serena was ready to fall down…but first, she had a little idea.

“Fine, I think a break would be nice.” The Vanishing Owl crossed the room slowly with an innocent smile playing on her lips. Her clothes where filthy, covered in dirt and blood, something that wasn’t uncommon in New Exire right now. Will was the one out of place and so Serena was going to make sure he fit in here perfect. Closing the distance between the two, Serena merrily hugged Will as tightly as she can in order to mess up his pristine clothes. After a few seconds she pulled away and playfully messed up Wills hair “Oh my, you have something on your shirt~” Well, considering her current state of mind….that was a very docile thing to do. “So, I will be leaving in like what…a week? Two weeks? You are here just to discuss this…right?” Serena should know that was not the case. She really was being sent home. Job done. Case closed.

((NPC---Seb)

Sebastian greeted Aeon with an award winning smile and stepped inside the room. Aiden was playing nearby and even clapped when Sebastian entered. This reminded Sebastian of one of his ideas about locking a child in a room and seeing how it turned out after being left without human interaction for 10-20 years. He was quite certain a person like that could be trained to become a perfect weapon. Brushing away that random thought, Seb held up the books he had brought along with him. “I have these for you. I am sure someone of your intellect will find these books interesting.” The dark haired butler patted little Aiden on the head handed him a small rattle. “I trust you all slept well. If there is anything you wish for be sure to let me know and I will see to it ASAP.”

The butler stepped around the room and even ran a finger along a shelf, inspecting it for dust. “I have a few moments to spare if you wish for some company.” He stated as he turned round to face Aeon. “Our little talks have been very entertaining, wouldn’t you agree?” Sebastian held up one finger as if he was silencing Aeon who hadn’t actually said anything “But first, some tea.”

It had taken only two days for Roulin to realize that Will's casino, training ground....thing wouldn't give him that peace and quiet that he needed at this point. Rather than listen to the whispers and crime kings and mob bosses make trades in what was apparently and literally Hell, the Owl of Grey decided to reacquaint himself with the unrelenting whistle of the arctic wind. Just like his the hue of his eyes, the surrounding tundra was just a dull mix of dark and light touches. The snow didn't hinder his vision any thanks to the Owl's inherited ability. Instead, the heavy blizzard only drove him to push his abilities further. On top of the world Roulin stood. The North Pole's biting cold and destructive climate was just another fight to him. His body and his vision could only grow stronger by being here.

~I certainly hope that you're proud of what you've done. You've killed countless people and destroyed many families over your inferiority complex. Whether or not you understand your actions and take them for what they truly are at their basic level...at their core, you'll answer to it all very soon. Even if I have to see to it that you do Catherine. I promise I won't let you or my heart slip through my fingers again....~

His clothing was heavy, weighted and black. The jacket he wore was thick and was long enough to reach his waist. The two pairs of pants he wore, wool pajamas beneath a pair of black khakis, did their job in keeping the young man's legs warm although his ankles weren't as protected and neither were his feet. He was barefooted, sloshing though the vast, seemingly infinite tundra throwing out attacks simply for practice. His long dark hair waved with each punch, kick or spin and each breath was like inhaling a bundle of sharp, serrated knives. the Italian's lungs burned furiously, but rather than fall, he simply took it in stride and continued. Even after the soles of his feet began to sting as if needles were slipping into each dilated pore, he fought on with no intention of ceasing.

Amara was grateful as her drink arrived and her muffin and bagel arrived as well. When Cecilia asked the question was there anything going on between Amara and Roulin, an eyebrow raised. She took a sip of her alcoholic drink and nodded. "Yes, I'm afraid there is Cecilia. Me and Roulin had a long talk yesterday and we discussed how unhappy we were...that's when we decided that we still had a flicker to our old flame and decided to rekindle it yesterday. I'm sorry that you found out the way that you did" she said to her. Taking a sip of her drink, Amara began to spread some cream cheese on her bagel...in excess...she loved it really. The psion took a bite out of her bagel and savored the taste looking at Cecilia. "Fifty thousand huh? That's impressive" Amara said veering off the subject at hand.

Aeon nodded at Sebastian as she took the books and placed them on a small table. "Tea sounds lovely right now Sebastian. What kind will we be having today?" she asked casually. Aeon began to think of subjects that they could talk about today. Aeon had a liberal mindset, so she often had a good grasp on what she believed in, but also kept an open mind as well. "Well they're cracking down on marijuana dispensaries in California...which I feel is total bullshit. I've been doing some reading on the process of starting one, and as much as the government is involved in that, the price it cost to start it up, hundreds of legal documents that has to be signed plus 24 hour surveillance is enough ridiculousness to endure but now they're creating more rules, making it more easier to get in trouble with the law. I'm convinced that America is out to imprison any and everyone...what are your takes Sebastian? So many people claim 'morality' but are some of the most immoral people in the world" she said shaking her head.

Cecilia's jaw set tightly when Amara confessed that there was something going on between Roulin and her. She could feel the lump building in her throat, but forced it down. Don't you dare start crying you ******** idiot, she thought angrily to herself. It was bad enough that Roulin didn't have the balls to tell her himself. When her food arrived, she could only stare down at it. She could feel the tears burning underneath her eyelids, but Cecilia pushed them back. She supposed that this was her fate. She would always be alone. The last man she had left her and now Roulin had done the same. Roulin had been unhappy. Did that mean he had been unhappy with her? Was that why he had gone back to Amara and why Amara had gone back to him? Her hands shook slightly under the table. Would she forever be deprived of happiness? Would it dangle in front of her on a fish hook only to be taken away each time she reached out to grab it? How many more times would she feel pain like this? She bit her lip to keep it from trembling. Standing up from the table, she spoke in a strange and broken voice. "Excuse me for a minute," she said before she walked towards the women's bathroom, a few tears already falling.

Amara didn't expect for Cecilia would respond the way that she did. Shaking her head she spoke up. IF she knew that the azure owl would respond this way...she wouldn't have made the joke. "Cecilia...it was just a joke!!!" she exclaimed before the azure owl could make it to the restroom. She hoped that the girl wouldn't be too mad but Amara found her question to be just as funny as the response she gave. There was nothing going on between her and Roulin. Amara doubted she could EVER go back to Roulin...the spark just wasn't there like it was for her and Lucien. This girl really needed a good talking to though...if she seriously believed that Amara or Roulin would back track. The psion waited to see if Cecilia would come back, taking another drink she waited in silence. Amara wasn't one to chase after someone at all, so Cecilia would have to come back on her own free will.

((Will))

Will simply smirked and nodded as Serena interrogated him about what she would do after staying a year and how sudden it was, but then Serena charged toward him in slow motion and trying not to look like she was going to pull one on him.. The Satan Owl's aura was suppressed and masked to prevent detection from other higher order Owls, and it remained that way even as Serena wrapped him in a mini Serena bear hug...because she had a smaller frame than him. The dirt, blood, and grime from the Vanishing Owl's skin and clothes rubbed eagerly onto Will's pristine suit and onto his perfect hair. He sighed and chuckled. "Well, that's one suit ruined. Sebastian's going to have to clean it, you know... I wonder what he'll think of you." He patted her. "Nice to see you haven't changed, bunny. But you couldn't change even if you wanted to anyway." he said with a smirk. He rubbed the lady's white hair and declined to answer her question on leaving. It was rhetorical. "For the children, Serena..." He patted her belly. "Though I'll grant you a little time if you truly want to find Koji. He will come home to Japan in time. His family is waiting for him."

...and then Cerbs ruined it all by jumping on the bed...because every time that happens.....

Cecilia froze when she heard that Amara had been joking. One could see that her sapphire form had tensed and her fists were clenched. The urge to punch the Psion was rising, but she was sure that Lucien wouldn't appreciate that nor would Aeon. Instead, she took a deep breath, her shoulders rising and falling heavily before she turned and walked back at the table, sitting down in the chair with a clear body motion of anger. "You shouldn't have joked like that," she said. How could this girl know what she was going through? "You don't know what it's like," she said quietly. "You have a beautiful child and a man who loves you." Her hands cupped the warm cup of coffee as she continued to speak.

"I thought that after my last boyfriend left me after I...after I lost my baby during my labor...I thought that things could only get worse from there and they did. The drugs, the drinking, all of it. I wanted to forget. I wanted to forget everything. I wanted to even forget who I was. But Roulin...he saw something in me. He saw a lot of potential. I grew to like him and before I knew it, I fell in love with him. He didn't care about what I had done in my past. He cared about me. He wanted to be with me and I wanted to be with him. But now..." Cecilia looked down at her coffee, the dark liquid trembling as her hands shook before she looked back at the blonde Psion. "Now...it's like I don't exist anymore to him. He wants nothing to do with me. He won't even look at me. Not once since we've been in Vegas has he asked me how I've been. We haven't seen each other in two months, but it seems pretty clear that he hasn't missed me at all."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 11, 2012 1:34 pm

Amara looked at Cecilia and all she could do was laugh. "Are you ******** serious Cecilia? Excuse my language but you don't know anything about me...only what you see" she said finishing off her drink. She didn't know if it was the alcohol or the accusation that everything was perfect in her life. "I joke to try and make light of the situations that all of us are in, not to be mean or cruel. I have a child that I love but with that child comes worries Cecilia. Worries that I may not be alive to see him take his first steps or to hear him speak his first words. And a man who loves me...a man who I haven't had an intimate moment with in months. We're distant...I love Lucien be we are distant" she said to her. Finishing off her bagel the psion looked at Cecilia.

"The other night, me and Roulin were just talking that is all. He felt something was wrong with me and wanted to speak, we ended up helping each other get through what we are going through. The truth is Cecilia we are in the same situation, and Roulin explained to me that he wants to keep you at arms distance in order to protect you. Of course I called bullshit because you're a woman not a child who can't defend herself...but honestly Cecilia and I say this out of respect for you being a fellow woman...you're reacting like a child" she said in all seriouness. "Not saying it's not normal to feel like you do, because sister I can tell you this...I feel the same damn way. Lucien is more focused on his 'mission' in life more than he is with me and Aiden, he made that perfectly clear, so now I'm stuck with a very hard decision...but back to what I was saying...

...it's not how you feel but the way you react that puts you in the same position as a child and gives Roulin good reason to treat you as such. Feeling sorry for yourself, crying, tensing up...and yes it's been quite noticeable Cecilia is what a child would do. If you want to salvage what you do have with him, speak with him. He may not say what you want to hear...but fight for what you want"
she said as she ordered another drink. Amara could tell this was going to be a long breakfast. "I'm not trying to change you as a person or b***h you out...like I said I'm doing this because I'm in the same situation and I can't stand to see a fellow woman react like this. Distance in a relationship is bound to happen...physically and emotionally...at least in our world Cecilia...it's sad but it's true. You have to know what you're willing to put up with and what you will not, you are number one before Roulin and your relationship...remember that and fight for yourself...and then for what you want" she said. Amara's drink arrived and she began to drink once more. Thinking on what she just said, Amara had given herself some advice indirectly as she pondered her words.

Cecilia closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She wanted to scream. She wanted to lash out at this woman sitting before her. She wanted to take the anger that she had been feeling for so long out on this woman. But after a moment, she could feel herself starting to calm, but that anger was still there in her chest, set to a low simmer. "You're right. I don't know anything about you and I'm sorry. I hope you'll forgive me for that. As for Roulin, I want to talk to him, I really do. But how do I know that if I go near him he won't teleport somewhere else? Provided with a new ability I have, I could just find him again, but that's not the point. I understand that Roulin wants to protect me, but look at where I am right now. I didn't get to be where I am by being some weakling. I don't know if Roulin realizes that."

Her voice began to grow steadier with each word she spoke. Her shoulders, which had tensed, began to relax, but there was still that heaviness in her heart, that feeling that something was weighing it down right to the pit of her stomach. "Maybe I am acting like a child, but just so you know...today is the first time since Roulin went his own separate way that I even shed a tear or even tensed up. The rest of my time was spent helping Aeon take care of your son as well as training. When I saw you and Roulin together at the casino, it hurt. It felt like someone had punched me in the stomach with a pair of brass knuckles. At the time, there was part of me that thought that there was something going on between the two of you and when you joked about there really being something, I lost it and I'm sorry."

The lump began to form again, but Cecilia closed it off before it could form too big for her to swallow. "I love Roulin. I wish I could talk to him. We only have so much time left before we leave for Exire. How do I know something won't happen to him there that would take him away from me forever whether it's death or if he just never returns? I have to talk to him before we leave...at least once before we leave. Even if it doesn't yield the results I'm looking for, at least I'll have talked to him. The only problem is he's not here in the casino and I can't sense him anywhere in Las Vegas. So it's pretty obvious he's not in the area. I just...I just..." she rubbed her temples. "I know this sounds rather cruel of me, but there is part of me that just wants to beat some sense into him. But I have a feeling that it would only make things worse. Then there's another part of me that wants to just talk to him, get answers from him myself." But if she did manage to get him to listen, what would she even say? How would he respond?

((TFP---Raven))

Fresh droplets of rain fell relentlessly from the heavens like the tears of the dead. The sound of heavy boots crunched on the cobbled pathway as Exirian soldiers began readying their selves’ and their equipment. Nearby Raven was running through a few things with some higher up soldiers and drawing random marks on a map “We will move towards this town today in the same way we took over this town.” She glanced over her shoulder towards the east and blew out a small breath of air. She hadn’t slept well last night at all and today she was feeling the effects. She only hoped that everything would go as smoothly as it had been. Of course, humans were already evacuating any home in Raven’s path for fear of being killed. Good, that just made things easier. Raven dismissed the small meeting with a mere wave of her hand and ran a hand through her dampened blonde hair.

~I do hope you know the meaning of a promise such as that, Roulin. You have failed in that task a few times already…but I must say your perseverance is admirable in its own way. I am proud of myself….I have accomplished more for Owls than anyone ever has. Are you still seeing things through cloudy eyes, Life Owl? Perhaps you need to learn how to see things for what they are…I will look forward to our next meeting…It will be interesting to see if you keep your promise~

Raven folded the map up and tucked it into her trench coats pocket. Unlike the Owls in Las Vegas she didn’t have time to sit around and relax. Herself and the Exirians were in a vital stage of the take-over plans and everything needed to be observed and maintained carefully. “We are moving out” She climbed into an armoured vehicle and leaned back into the hard seat awaiting the moment in which she could watch the world drift by outside the window. Time was ticking away and Raven was watching each passing minute with a careful eye.

((TFP---Serena))

“Sebastian can think what he likes. That man enjoys cleaning clothes…” Serena stated with an irritated shrug of her shoulders. Will’s creepy as sin butler was of no concern for her, she knew Sebastian enough to know what would rub him the wrong way. Dirty clothes and a few stains were not a problem for him. “Hmph..If I really tried I could change. Or at least become a better actor” The white haired woman had tried this before. She had made it through a whole week earning money the normal people’s way and she even lived in some crappy one bedroom flat above some shop. But that was beside the point; the current matter at hand was not going to be brushed under the rug before being dealt with.

The Vanishing Owl was about to smack Will’s hand away when he touched her hair but was caught completely off guard by his next words. Her mouth opened slightly but no words came out, what could she say? He was right and she was no longer able to continue fighting…unless she wanted to risk the lives of their unborn children. Licking her suddenly dry lips Serena nodded slowly. She understood. “I know…I…I know” A small tint of pink heated Serena’s cheeks and she took a step backwards until she was in a patting free zone. She shook her head when Will asked if she wanted to find Koji. Find him and then what? What words could she say that would comfort the Frozen Owl? “I can’t face him…I don’t want to see his face when I tell him that I am leaving…” While she was brave when it came to fighting or killing…she wasn’t brave when it came to leaving Kojiro to fight on his own.

Serena moved towards the bed to sit down but was beaten by Cerberus who done his usual habit of jumping all around the bed. “At least you’re happy” She muttered as she patted the three headed dog. Serena sat with her back to Will and continued patting Cerbs as she whispered to the dog “Are you ready to go home, Cerberus?”

((NPC---Seb)

Sebastian bowed and left through a portal for a few moments before returning with some freshly brewed tea for himself and Aeon. “Today’s tea is known as Palace Earl Grey. It has a sophisticated aromatic taste that I am sure you will enjoy.” The butler announced matter-of-factly as he placed the steaming cups down on a table. He took a seat opposite Aeon and listened to the girl as she went on about America and drugs. Sebastian really couldn’t care for the worries or the state the world was currently it…as long as it didn’t affect his work or his life that is. “An interesting topic you have chosen, Aeon. While I agree that this is all a bit bothersome and ‘bullshit’ I also look at the current matter at hand and find myself thinking that perhaps this extra step up in security may be needed. With the war brewing and Owls killing left right and centre isn’t it only natural for the government to issue out more rules? Just as we are trying to survive so are they….Even if their ways of doing things is a complete and utter waste of time and money.” Smiling innocently Seb crossed his legs and sipped a small mouthful of tea.

Lucien flipped backwards through the air, sliding backwards on the ground as his feet touched down. He looked up immediately shooting to the side as a spray of cosmic energy tore through the air down at him. He spun whipping his arms around his body releasing streams of pure energy, which smashed into the cosmic energy canceling each one out. Lucien looked up at his attackers, a combination of Anderson and Sibal together. Lucien threw out his hand using his elasticity power it stretched like an endless supply of rubber, wrapping around Sibal Lucien hurled the heavy cyborg with his super strength sending him crashing into the ground. Retracting his arm Lucien looked up as Anderson stood floating in the air.
Anderson stood quietly floating in the air, slowly white lines began to form on his body from his appendages up towards his chest and finally along his face. His eyes began to glow white as he held his hands above his head. The galaxy affect formed over his head, spiraling with it's brilliant display of color and light, as a real spiral galaxy would from a distance. Anderson thrusted his hands down towards his sides as a shower of silver cosmic energy rained from the spiral down onto the arena below.
Lucien shifted his stance a little, snapping his fingers lightly he felt the charge of electricity. As he stared up at the shower of lights he pulled out of his pocket wheat looked like a quarter. Flicking it up felt the charge of electricity run through his arm, as the coin fell he flicked it out, this was Luca's signature technique, Lucien had seen it a few times and decided now would be a good time to put his own spin on it. As the charged coin fired up it tore into the oncoming energy storm, exploding after a few moments. but this could not stop Anderson's galactic attack entirely. Lucien slammed his fists into the ground summoning up a small roughly pyramid shaped pile of crystal that formed around him. As the energy rained down on Lucien it filled the air with debris and dust shrouding the area in a thick cloudy dust. Anderson blinked canceling out the attack, the galaxy collapsed into the black hole in the center, his eyes and the white lines remained as he waited to see what was of Lucien's remaining figure in this fight.

As the dust cleared Lucien stood, one of his arms lay on the ground, jagged burn wounds riddled the once useful appendage, there existed several gaping holed in his stomach and chest, and one of his legs was holding on by a few threads and a sliver of bone. He looked up at Anderson, his face oddly enough relatively untouched. "That was a very good try." He said softly as his body rejuvenated itself, the holes in his body began to give off an odd misty like substance as they closed, his arm shot from the stub that was there spraying mist as it did so. Lucien stood up straight as a sudden storm of metal threw him to the side, a working of Sibal no less. Sibal stood in the distance all four arms moving as he manipulated the metal, his own body glowing a light blue color as he focused on not giving Lucien a chance to move. Within the storm of metal objects which constantly bombarded his body with blunt force trauma strike after strike Lucien's body began to glow a soft white color before it burst into a spray of light, he reappeared a short distance from Sibal, his outstretched hand surged with an electrical current. Without a second thought he fired the current into the side of Sibal's head which caused the robotic giant to topple over. Lucien pointed his hand up at Anderson the same electrical current running through his fingertips, just before he fired there was a loud ringing noise that shot through the arena. Lucien immediately stopped, lowering his hand. It was the timer, there match was over. Lucien looked towards Sibal who was already back up, folding his arms as he looked at Lucien as if waiting for an order. "Good, you two have improved nicely over the past few days. Keep it up, and the Fallen Phoenix's will be little more then bumps in your path." Lucien relaxed now, cracking his neck as he walked towards the exit.

He walked down the hall and into an elevator before being brought back to the room he was currently staying in. He and Amara had been a bit more distant than usual, but this was to be expected for the rather uncomfortable strain on their relationship. Neither one could understand how the other's thought processed worked. Lucien was to calculating, to set on the facts and pure restricted logic, while Amara looked at things like a rational emotional person, neither way of thinking was wrong, but it made coming together very difficult, their constantly clashing points of view were always present. He walked towards his bathroom, sliding open the shower door he started the water before he stepped over to the side, removing his now ruined clothes he stepped into the shower, washing his body thoroughly with the soap which he had found in the room. He looked himself over, this new body was still a little odd, it had only been a short time since his promotion to full death owl, he was taller, more muscled, and looked a bit older none of this was drastic but to someone who analyzed everything these somewhat minimal changes were rather drastic. As he allowed the hot water to rinse off the soapy suds from his body he exhaled loudly, he closed his eyes and let the water rain over his head, soaking his ebony hair.

~"This is it. Cheani Presidiomni, representing Europe or more specifically Italy, has now taken the diving board and is preparing for his descent." "Doesn't he know that having so much hair will impeded his entrance into the pool? And those swimming trunks...one would think that he'd have chosen a pair of speedos for this event." "You know Casey, it's not about Presidiomni's beautiful onyx locks which used to be a rather unkempt yet spherical work of art nor is it about his baggy trunks which, like you said, may have been a bad choice for this. It's his courage Casey. It is courage that this young and graceful man is hoping will win him the gold medal for this event. He's about to take his dive..."~

Che Presidiomni, playing this small event in his head out as if it were an Olympic test made his way to the top of the diving board. The height of the construct was about twenty feet, so this ensured him the time he'd need to position himself and put on a show for his audience. There were about four other of these diving boards on each side of the large, rectangular pool, but each one was of a different height. Aiming only to impress his audience...which was Kate and nobody else, Che chose the tallest one. The Mastering Owl had figured she hadn't even seen him climb to the top of the diving board. Once at the construct's height, the Italian looked around seeing nothing but marble, concrete, Kate in her beach attire and the water below.

Now ready to master the art of diving, Che waved at Kate once and didn't get her attention. His next attempt at getting her, which was just yelling her name, may have done the trick. Wasting no more time in preparation, the Owl bounced once upon the board and sprang upward into a front flip. Following that was a twirling helix that rotated for only a second or two. Che's body, once positioned right, slipped into the water like a blade giving him the look of coolness that he'd tried for. (This would be so if Che had it his way. Unfortunately, he didn't...)

After the first bounce, The Mastering Owl fell forward due to loss of leverage. When he pulled his legs back to catch himself, his shins simply scrapped the front of the board and flipped him as he fell forward. In a tumble filled with screaming and flailing, the Italian had landed on the water with a loud, wet thwack. The impact of his body sent water in all directions and even splashed Kate who was perfectly relaxed until this moment. Che couldn't see the splash or anything else after the fall, but when he arose to the surface, he set his attention onto Kate and with a sheepish grin, he asked, "So....did you see my dive? It was pretty cool....right?"

~~~
"Again! Again! Again! Do it right damn it!"
"But sir....I'm coming at you the best I know how...you're going to kill me if we keep this up!"
"I don't---I don't care! Now do it again! Stop fighting like a little girl an' hit me!"
The new Wind Herald was getting his fill against the random subordinates lucky enough to be selected by him. Of course, they all had different abilities so that Thomas could cram strategies and tactics within the small window of time he had. Along the way, the once Death Owl learned that his ability isn't as offensive or defensive as he'd have liked it to be. In honesty, it was probably the worst power he couldn't been stuck with in his opinion. Still, the elder knew that this wouldn't slow him. He had the mind for this even if his entire life had been dictated by one incredibly powerful ability. "Goddamn it children! How much more must I ********' sandbag here eh?! Just 'cause my Negation is gone, that don't mean don't come at me with what you've got!"
Faced with five men, Thomas couldn't help but feel weaker against them. At the same time, he was under the assumption that they weren't trying either. One of the men who could use the element of wind with proficiency hadn't done anything to assault him really. All of his attacks had been passive and not at all life threatening in the least. Only until Thomas struck did anyone else move in. One of the men approached the Herald from behind. Thomas easily dispatched him with a step backwards, a crouch and a elbow to his gut.
After the wind was knocked out of him, Thomas expelled a gust from his elbow which shot the man backwards into a wall. He wasn't dead, but there was some cracking heard when he collided with the metallic walls of the training room. Another went into strike, but the elder's quick thinking stopped him. He stamped on his foot, trapping him. Following the immobilization, Thomas thrusted his palms forward and blew him away attack with a hurricane strength zephyr. Ribs were broken...no getting around that. "C'mon guys! We've got a bunch of terrorists that'll be hitting Virginia tomorrow! We're going to lose if none of you get better!"
Amara listened to what Cecilia had to say. She chose not to say what she was thinking because not everyone was like she was and would take it the way she had intended. "Well just know, that if you EVER see us together...it's nothing more than platonic...that was the first time me and him have hung out in the last 3 years I know...maybe longer" she said to the azure owl. "Let's not focus on all of this Cecilia...it will happen in due time...but believe me, Roulin loves you...he made that apparent the other day" she said to her blue friend. Finishing up her muffin and downing the rest of her third drink she wanted to head to the mall before an entire group of people would show up...Amara hated crowds....that and it always seemed she ran into trouble with humans whenever she tried to have a "normal" moment.
Aeon took a sip of the tea that Sebastian had given her. "Oh this is lovely Sebastian, I must learn to make this" she said to him with a smile. When he gave his input she agreed. "I suppose you are right. Honestly if the government here wasn't so flawed I doubt there would be a war brewing in our own backyard as of now. Various laws they pass for OWLS to register with the government, bills in the air on whether or not it should be legal or illegal for us to have children and marriages...they've basically given madmen 'guns' to kill them off. I look at countries in Asia and there's no threat like we have here in America, well besides the rogue lunatic OWLs but other than that...they're pretty well off. They worry about real issues" she said as she took another sip of her tea. "Sorry Sebastian, sometimes I get so caught up in my thoughts I begin to fly off the handle" she giggled lightly. "Anything you'd like to converse about, I find your topics to be the most interesting" she said to him.
Luca stirred lightly in the bed, the sheets pulled halfway up his upper body he wasn't wearing a shirt, it had been a warm night and there wasn't a need for one. Opening his eyes briefly he closed them, stuck between the realms of sleep and awake he stirred lightly, shifting lightly in his sleeping state. Slowly though he opened his eyes, seeing Bailey now draped in a light robe. He turned onto his back letting his cold metal arm touch his forehead. He blinked a few times and yawned before he sat up in bed. He raised his knee up and rested his metallic elbow on it. "Good morning Bailey." He slowly got out of bed, standing up he stretched his arm over his head cracking his neck lightly, that was the one bad thing about sleep was that he always got so stiff when he woke up. He walked over to her wrapping his arms around her from behind he lowered his head kissing her on the cheek from over her shoulder. He let go soon after, walking towards the bathroom he turned on the light, and pulled out his toothbrush. He brushed his teeth, and after a few minutes walked from the room. Over the past few days he had worked with Bailey on controlling her vectors, she was making excellent progress, Luca didn't doubt that soon she would have control over them, now all she needed was the confidence in herself to do so.
He walked towards their kitchen-esque area and pressed a button on the coffee maker which began to pour out the hot coffee. He placed a cup underneath it and when it was full released the button. He took a seat at a small table, turning on the tv to see if anything new had transpired in the world while they were in their own training bubble. He sipped the coffee, looking over himself he sighed, he was still only wearing a set of flannel pajama pants and nothing else, he would need to take a shower and get dressed soon enough.
((Will))
Will smirked. "Sure...." he answered sarcastically to Serena stating she could change if she tried. It would be too hard for her, and she would be back to her old ways in no time. After all, she only lasted a week. And even if she could learn how to act better, that wouldn't help against Will. He knew her too well. He probably knew more about her than she did.
Yes, Will had allowed Serena to stay in the field while the Owl was pregnant, but he was taking her away now. He smirked as she pulled away from him and then blushed. "Can't face him? Leave him a note then, bunny. I'm sure you'll be brief on a need-to-know basis. You'll see him later, Serena. Just tell him you'll see him when he returns to Japan." Maybe Serena might think it was a strange that Will was insisting that Kojiro would return to Japan sometime. Will knew Kojiro had his lost family in Japan waiting for the Frozen Owl. It was a matter of Kojiro accepting himself.
The Satan Owl knew Serena was weak with emotions, which was why she always tried not to get attached to anyone. From Serena's reaction, Will knew she had gotten attached to Kojiro like a big sister to a younger brother. Well, technically, they were all in the same big family...if Japan counted as a family.
But of course Cerbs had to ruin the moment and bounce Will off the bed. Fortunately, the blonde had already saw the motion and moved off the bed for a moment before sitting down again. "Cerbs..." He smirked and nodded as Serena sat down on the bed and patted her favorite pillow, Cerberus. The hellhound was clearly happy to see Will. His tail was wagging feverishly, and he licked Serena when she whisper asked him if he was happy to go home. "Mmmm...unless old Cerbs decides to stay and bother Koj."
