Nyla listened to the tanned female as she glanced around. Then not long after, she looks at her pet. "I don't think you should get any bigger. That breath of yours is unbearable as it is." Jishin, who had taken offense of her honesty hissed in irritation. With that, she sighed heavily and rose up, started to dust herself as she heard Kaz's words and tilted her head. "If you wanted to see me naked, you need my parents permission first." It was then she realized if her parents were okay or not. With a shrug, she knew that it was the life of a shinobi. It comes and goes. Her head turned towards the medical shinobi as her tail swished on the sand below. Her blue hues matched the other blue eyes and held contact for a bit before she turned to look at the tamer with a male she did not yet recognize. With a loud yawn, she was ready to go back to bed but with the bodies littered the streets, she knew that was not going to be for awhile.

Kaori was silent as she watched everyone, and was quick to notice how everyone seemed to turn to her for guidance. She wanted to protest, Doc was more aware of the goings on at the moment, she hadn't even been awake from her coma for a day yet. But, she took a deep breath and looked everyone over. They all seemed healthy, and able bodied. She honestly didn't know what to do, however.
"Okay, I know it seems redundant, but do we know if there are anymore survivors? I'm sure the other high ranking shinobi are all fighting the Choumei, and with so many genin, I don't think we should join. So finding survivors, or trying to clean up the bodies and work on trying to restore as much as we can is probably our best bet at the moment."
Nova walked around the group and observed them all, letting Kaori do all the talking for the moment and just stayed silent. She would assist her partner as needed, but at the moment, she wasn't in dire need.

Kaz paused for a moment thinking we might have had a sounder plan. Saving more people sounded good but the question now was to where. "Maybe we should check the dojo. Another high traffic area for younger ninja. The only other question is where to take everyone for now? The hospital?" His vision had switched back to normal, the vibrant gold of his eyes faded back to the original state.

Slight tilt of her head, the dark skinned female glanced to the tiger tamer in confusion. "Choumei?" She questioned as she honestly had no idea what that thing was. There was a sudden lift of pressure on the area and she had no idea what it was. But Jishin slightly understood. He hissed towards Nyla as she looked down at him as if understanding him. "It's over? What's over?" She questioned. Yet, she was ready to follow them if they wish to go to the other areas to find more survivors.

Kaori went to say something, but stopped when she felt as if this oppressive air, that she hadn't even truly been aware of, vanish. She took a deep breath, and mentally categorized all the scents she had just taken in. Sure, her sense of smell wasn't nearly as powerful as Nova's, over even a tamer with a Canine pet, but it was still better than the average shinobi. She looked around and then at the group,
"Okay, I think things are settled, though I'd say we need to avoid the residential district for the moment, while the combatants do their clean up. Let's head to the Dojo, clean up there, see if there are any survivors there. If we are still in good shape, we can then try the residential area."
Nova rumbled happily, glad to see that Kaori was back to her old self, getting things done and taking names. She was so proud of her Partner. Down and out for nearly a year, woken up to the knowledge of a dead brother, and yet she still pushed forward to do her job as a shinobi of the Sand. Nova trotted over to Kaori's side and smirked slightly at the others. Nova turned on her paws and started to head for the Dojo.

Nodding his head in agreement with Kaori. Listening to Nyla's words he thought to himself it might be best to check on the residential area again. Just to be sure. Viewing through the focus point he had made earlier at the hospital. Closing his eyes he viewed towards the residential area where the chaos had been going on before. To his surprise he actually saw the area being in a state of normality. Other than the destruction. "Um, Guys? I'm not seeing the tailed beast at the residential area. Do we want to risk going in behind the destruction to look for potential survivors?" Kaz switched back to his own eyes for the moment. Turning them to the fair skinned cat girl. He wasn't quiet sure if he fancied the half cat features or if he was just unable to look away due to the fact it was different.

No one answered her question. Sky blue jewels glanced down to look at her lizard as a soft shrug could be seen from her dark skinned shoulders. Someone else showed up and started to talk to the other tamer. With that, Nyla started to leave the area with her komodo dragon by her size, their tracks could be seen. She was heading to the hospital to take care few things before she was ordered to help clean up this village alongside with Jishin.

Kaori blinked and turned at the familiar voice, surprised since she had figured that Knives would have been on the front lines. She smiled slightly at him, though, happy to see he was safe. She motioned toward the blond shinobi to come over closer, and took note of Nylathria and Jishin leaving,
"Knives! It's good to see you, though I'm surprised that you weren't on the front lines. We were just discussing what to do. Though now that you've mentioned that you think all survivors are clear here, I'm thinking we should head to the residential area."
Kaori felt a little more than useless, having not been on the front lines herself like she preferred to be. She didn't know how anyone she knew had fared, except Knives at the moment. She didn't know how Ayame, her Kage, was, or Theodin, she didn't know anything at the moment, and she did not like that feeling. She hated feeling useless, and that on top of the rage and sorrow of losing her brother, she was very volatile at the moment. She took a deep breath to try and calm herself as Nova trotted over and head butted her partner, then went and did the same to Knives, though he was bigger than Kaori; therefore not as easy to budge.

Knives gave Nova a pat on the head and kissed Kaori on the forehead. "I got held up else where, to say the least." He said before looking over the area. "We can check the residential area, far as I can tell Kage is fine and so are most of the other higher ups." he gave Kaori a hug. "Come on let's go check the residential district."
'No!! We must feed!! We must kill!!! 'Hush, there will be plenty of time for both of those.. there's plenty of bodies I'm sure...

Mayhaps Kyomei was lost. She 'the great and powerful Kyomei' was still subject to losing her way. It wasn't her fault everything was now rubble and looked the same. She had sat down and was engaging in rudimentary sealing and unsealing methods and practicing her calligraphy. Playing with a thin brush and making repetitive motions akin to the practiced arts of sealing. [Kaifu D 1/1]
Fiddling with the more complex shapes she drew in the air with her finger. This was a common practice she did when alone. Recalling back to when she first started the art of sealing she remembered how often her father scolded her for improper seals. Her hand made motions as if they were the head of the brush matching with the whistling of the current wind. Sunagakure was the village of wind and currently it was living up to that name it seemed. The following symbol she then began to imitate in the air was one associated with a simple technique. With her constant supply of paper she recalled it being connected to skill that got her out of several of the aforementioned scoldings from her father. A toss of a talisman and her old man was doused in confetti as the young Kyomei fled for the safety of her mother's bust. Yes, they were indeed large. Of course confetti wasn't the only prank she played on her father. Several occasions involved a more volatile touch. She recalled one scolding where she had little room to escape. Kyomei would then pantomime the necessary seal in the air. Returning to that moment many years ago this was the seal that filled the tiny room with enough smoke to warrant her a stealthy escape. Sometimes her father would get physical. As to be expected by most scorned father's did. In situations like this Kyomei relied on something a little less evasive. The look on her father's face every time his staff was ready to administer the thoughtful bong was always funny when it met with the steel turtle like shell. The extent of how father and daughter were always at each other's throats. He'd summon an oyster in her morning breakfast, she'd summon a frog in his bathtub. Part of the great and powerful Kyomei missed those times. In real time however, the girl puffed her cheeks. How did she get to where she was today though? Summoning and exorcism. Kyomei may have started off small summoning little rainwater gates here in there to aid in the villages flooding during the wet season but she hoped she'd move on to bigger and better things. Still recalling back said same instance a feat of strength she couldn't forget. When the gates weren't enough she went so far as to attempt to seal the waters themself! Of course this was no easy task but to the great and powerful Kyomei no challenge was to hard! Taking the scrolls the nin were using at the time she sealed that water and to make it even better released it on the nearby rice field! Of course those farmers had her to thank. After that unfortunately Kyomei had become less shrine maiden and more groundskeeper. For a full week she had to lug around a large barrel of water to the rice fields. Having to move the water from the well to the barrel was incredibly tasking to say the least for a girl of her petite stature. However, not one of her vast intelligence! It was only a matter of placing one seal on another that this week of struggle had become a week of relaxation. [ C Utsuwa [ Container ] 1/1 ]
Several of these seals were solely thanks to the tattoos. She was scared at first. Kyomei shifted the Tattoo for peace to her hand as she ceased to form symbols in the air. Before, her father, her mother, herself. They were just defenseless civilians. Then those people who called themselves the family showed up. Their temple was being threatened daily by rogue shinobi. Her family caught in the crossfires of war. She had to learn how to fight. To defend herself not just from the world beyond but from the bodies who still carried hatred within them, enough to threaten a village. Kyomei then began to shift her tattoos so that they may all be seen on the sleeve of her arm. She was not some defenseless girl anymore, she had power, and she was going to use this power responsibly. Kyomei would make her father proud and truly become THE GREAT AND POWERFUL EXORCIST KYOMEI NENEMARU! She stood tall with her arms at her side in a triumphant pose on the rubble. Kyomei would then raise both her hands the left emblazoning the symbol for yin. On the opposite hand she had the symbol of yang. She would then concentrate on both these markings. One the strongest techniques the 'family' had taught her. Now it was only a matter of molding the Chakra appropriately. Something of which Kyomei had no struggles with whatsoever thanks to the teachings of the 'family'
Kyomei aimed her open palms at a piece of rubble. She then made sure that no others were in the blast radius. Her eyes would then glow as what seemed to be shadows of paper dolls formed behind her. An ominous and hostile aura enveloped the girl one that very few would see or expect from someone of such a diminutive stature. Something however, was very much real the shimmering light emanating from both her palms.
KAI! She'd shout the word for release. However this was no utterance for a release in regards to a Genjutsu. From the girls left palm a dragon of violent winds sprung forth exploding outward with a mighty roar. From the right palm a dragon of searing flame let loose it's guttural roar. Then both shot forward crashing into the rubble, the two elements combining to cause an explosion of force. After the girl brought her hands to her side for another triumphant pose only this time it was met with laughter. "Foolish rubble that is what you get for trifling with great and powerful Kyomei the busty and beautiful!"

Kaori sighed softly, but nodded, she wanted to know more about the situation, but right now her village came before her own needs. She looked at Kaz and Nova, since she already knew Knives was on board.
"The residential area sounds like a good place to head, so let's head that way."
She then turned on her heel and turned to head to the residential area. She wanted to be sure any survivors were saved.

Snapping out of the situation when Kaori and Knives seem to be addressing eachother as much more than friends. Being a bit enlightened to the situation he tilted his head some as if more curious as to what was going on but he quickly corrected himself before anyone became curious of himself. Hearing her speak he was starting to wonder when he would get his headband. Probably after all this chaos was over. "Yes! Ma'am!" Tucking his spear behind him and turning to a spring after her towards where the largest danger lurked. He would see for sure what would be going on.
Finally realizing there was nobody around to hear her Kyomei plopped down on the rock. She would remove the weapon from her back and then stared at the Shakujo longingly. It sure was lonely. She looked around, so very few people seemed to have time to even look her direction if even for a second. These people were working hard for their village. So much so it reminded her of her own little village in the land of tea. She felt empty inside as she watched the fox fires of the spirits dance around the rubble. Maybe she should help to. After all there was a greater demon in this village. Just inhabiting the body of some boy. She blinked. Her Shakujo was glowing.
