[[ I meant the fact that I was literally planning to try it in that post. Which was coincidentally right after your OoC invitation to do so. Making me seem like an opportunist and not just 'that guy who already knows stuff' xD ]]
[ Kyle ; Riku ; Cloud : Hawaii : Village ]
Kyle nodded and wordlessly began to walk in the direction of the ship. He saw Joe and the new guy talking (they knew each other? Great, finally someone to cheer Joe up), and was about to head over when Riku put a hand on his shoulder, an eyebrow raised out of suspicion.
"You do know that what Zexion was so 'loyal' to was essentially killing off the universe, right?" he asked, and his hand didn't budge. All this talk of loyalties made him wonder where the dragoon's own lay.
"Don't get me wrong, what they did was horrible- I was merely stating the opinion that Zexion was at the very least loyal, whereas Axel waited until those who trusted him were weakened before killing them off using someone else in order to keep his hands clean," Kyle explained, not even looking over his shoulder. His voice seemed more docile now, almost weary. "He'd turn on us in a metaphorical heartbeat if they offered even a hint of information about how to get Roxas back."
"Yeah, but what about Zexion?" Riku replied, grip still maintained. "How do we even know where his loyalties were from the start?"
"I... I don't know, he..." Kyle started, his head going side to side as he tried to think up some response. "I know you're right, everyone's right, but, I mean, he... he saved my life. On more than one occasion. That's got to count for something right?"
"Yeah, but so has Axel, so keep that in mind," Riku finished, taking his hand off Kyle's shoulder. "Now, is having Lexaeus with us safe? After all-"
"Yeah, I know, he could easily just jump ship when we find Zexion..." Kyle replied with a sigh, massaging the bridge of his nose. "This is why you people shouldn't let me do the talking, seriously, I just screw everything up."
"We'll just keep an eye on him," Riku said, patting Kyle on the shoulders before walking off toward the Mothership, following after Cloud, Beatrix, Yuffie and Sora.
With Riku gone, Kyle continued walking toward Joe and the new guy, coming in right on the end of the conversation. "Catching him up?" he asked, putting on a simple grin as he made it over.

{Kyle : Hawaii : Village -> Mothership}
With it finally over, Kyle stayed away from the clearing for just a bit longer. His Zord had disappeared, but a stone pillar rose up to catch him, letting him stare out at the volcano. I almost can't believe this is happening...I've wanted powers all my life and now I do. It's an interesting feeling. Awe, excitement, maybe even a little fear mixed in there. I could do so much with these powers. Especially if we brought them back to Earth...cleaning up after earthquakes, hell, maybe even stopping them...that could all be possible. But we could be locked up, shoved in testing in a lab somewhere, never allowed out as they tried to replicate these... Well...for good or bad, I think I'd like to play with them for a bit longer anyway.
Motioning with a hand, the stone pillar shot down, leaving him with a short walk to the rest of the group. Seemed like a fair amount were leaving, heading towards the direction of the ship. He wasn't the best with people. But if they were gonna be working together, it was almost necessary...another time, perhaps. And with that, he began heading off to the ship as well, wondering who was gonna rebuild the village.

[Kyla: Hawaii: Village> Village behind Buildings>Mothership]
The girl strained her ears very hard; trying to listen for the sound in between everyone talking, random joyous jubilees, various debating and outbursts- -There! She heard it again!
Tyue having finished her task of healing the wounded disappeared back into her partner’s form. It would be a while before they had enough mana to re-summon her and the Eidolin was more than happy to get a rest- but once she remerged with Kyla she sensed her aibou’s alertness and anxiety. Having been so caught up in everything else around them, for once Tyue failed to notice Kyla diverted attention. ~ What is it? ~ ‘That sound- Tell me- the Hawaiian citizens were evacuated right? All of them?’ ~ Well... not all of them I think- Hey! Where are you going?! ~ ‘ I think someone’s in trouble!’
Kyla took off like a shot towards the buildings of the village, her eyes scouring for any sign of what was creating that sorrowful noise only she seemed to be able to hear. ~ Don’t Just Separate from the group! YOU Know how STUPID that is!~ ‘ We’re not going far, I won’t break eye contact I just- ‘
THERE! Someone off the corner of her peripheral vision just darted by from behind the houses. She could hear sobbing. Was it a child? Seemed small enough to be.
“Hey! Uhh- wait! Don’t run, it’s ok. I won’t hurt you.” She called, rounding the corner, giving chase. Only to find nothing. Suddenly the sobbing was behind her, going off in the other direction!? Kyla chased it without thinking- maybe the kid was just fast on their feet and went all the way around again. Looking around in the other direction- again she just caught the vaguest sight of a small child-like shape scurrying around behind the house from the other direction. “Wait! Stop! I don’t mean you any harm, are you alright? Please- just wait a second!” she whirled around the corner of the house and once again was met with nothing! No wait- there was a shadow on the ground! He was right behind her! Kyla whirled around- “there you ar-….” Nothing. She could only see the clearing where everyone stood off in the distance. But also, with the large amount of space between the houses in that direction, there was no possible way anyone who was behind her could have moved that fast out of her line of sight. Ok…this is starting to get a bit creepy- She had a strange uneasy feeling. ~ Kyla… get back to the group.~ “..yeah..” Without a complaint or argument Kyla began to head back- only to hear… giggling? No- don’t turn around! Just run back! Ignore it! Just ignore it!“…onee-…san…”
Don’t look.
She rejoined the group- no passed it, kept walking right into the Mothership without even looking at anyone.
Those clothes, that sound, that voice- NO don’t think about it.
“I need a drink.”

[Dawn ; Quina : Hawaii : Village -> Mothership]
Dawn was prepared for the giant of a man to explode on her for her explaination. She, however wasn't prepared for Bobbi's reaction. Dawn stared up at her friend. As she listened, gratefully, to Kyle's explaination as to what happened. Not just about what fully happened on the Black Pearl, but the reason why Zexion was with him in the first place. She had never got the full story behind it. Now that she did know, she could see why Kyle was so torn up about the betrayal. That boy seemed to put a lot of the blame of different things, when in reality it wasn't his fault.
~'Like you're one to talk. You do the same thing.'~
'That is different Garuda.'
~'No, not really. You blame yourself for things out of your control all the time. You blame yourself for what happened to Shalynn, Eli and Krystal. And do I have to mention James-'~
'Shut up Garuda!' Dawn said to her summon as she started to stand, though her knees were still wobbly from the previous dance, ontop of all the other dances she did earlier that day. It was all starting to catch up with her. As the others continued their conversation, Dawn slowly made her way to the Mothership with the others.
Quina, who had been otherwise doing nothing the previous conversations, had managed to slip onto the ship right behind Kyla when she mentioned the need of a drink.
"Need drink! I'll make! As well as lots and lots of yummies." Before Kyla could give any other sort of reaction, the chef grabbed the pictomancer by her arm and dragged her away, in attempts to find the nearest kitchen.

[ Ajora ; Celia ; Lettie : Castle Oblivion -> Hawaii : Lugae's Lab ]
When enough time had passed for the body to recuperate, the cocoon receded, slowly sinking and seeping into Ajora's skin; having been lifted off the ground a few inches by it, his shoes lightly tapped against the ground as he dropped. He inhaled slowly through his nose, exhaling just as slowly from his mouth, and lifted his arms, holding his palms open and facing upward.
Embedded in the center of both palms were small, refined crystals. They were large enough to be visible, even from a few meters away, but small enough not to make his hands feel awkward nor ruin his grip. The small gems gleamed in the bright light of Oblivion's halls, just barely reflecting his visage.
He looked no different, of course, but he felt... well, he felt amazing. As if the power he'd had before wasn't enough already, the Bloody Executioner felt charged to the metaphorical (and perhaps literal?) brim.
He glanced at Celia and Lettie, and for some reason, the looked... different. Not physically, but... ah, that was it. He could actually see their Darkness, almost like a gauge or a palpable essence.
What strange properties this crystal has...
Rolling his shoulders, he grinned to the two women before opening a Corridor of Darkness (it had been easy before, but now it felt almost... instinctive), stepping through it with the Assassins shortly behind him.
[ Ajora has reached Level 7. ]
[ Ajora's current stats are: Undecided ]
---
The Corridor brought him and his companions into the heart of Lugae's Laboratory. He strolled out into the large room, glancing at the wall of Replicas.
They were complete.
"Are they ready to be released?" he asked, not even turning to look at Zexion, who for once was not at a computer; instead, he was perusing a book while sipping tea.
"Still no manners," he muttered, not once glancing up from the page. "Tea? I'll offer you some just as I offered Azrael."
Ajora hesitated. "You know... I think I will take some," he said, turning to look toward the Cloaked Schemer and Azrael both. "Sorry, I guess I'm just anxious. Has everything gone well?"
The question was directed to both Zexion and Azrael, and to be perfectly honest, it seemed entirely civil-- as though he were genuinely interested in the goings-on of their day.
[[There's a reason I haven't decided on Ajora's final stats yet. I need to take some future occurrences into account in order to make sure he's not hellaciously imbalanced. There shouldn't be any combat around him any time soon anyway, so it shouldn't be too much hassle.]]

[Azrael: Hawaii: Lugae's Lab]
The dark wind fighter had shifted positions in his time from coming back. He was sitting up, Noku at his back, Bal-Hur off to the side and watching the goings on. Bal-Hur had a cup of tea in his hand, slowly drinking it, but Noku's claws were busy chopping Azrael's hair. It was pointlessly long, and judging from what he spied of his original, it wasn't like they'd be easily confused for each other anymore. Brutal, what was done to the guy's eye.
Az had passed on the tea, instead going after this hair problem. Thankfully, Noku was almost done, the male going for a 'high and tight' look. What could he say, though? Boredom made for interesting activities.
Azrael waved at Ajora. "Besides getting into a kickass fight with my original? Sure, I guess. Not much else has been going on, to my knowledge. Right?"
Noku just nodded, claws still working on the hair as a low growl of confirmation rumbled from his chest.
The male looked at Ajora, eyes curious as he sniffed the air. "You've changed. What happened?"

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Mothership}
"Hey man, I don't have enough cash on me," Demyx said to Axel, grinning over at him. He didn't miss Axel's smirk, but decided to play along like the two were old chums. He supposed that if they were to ever get their hearts back, it wouldn't be too unlikely. He hadn't missed what the others had said about Axel and his loyalties, but that didn't matter. What mattered was keeping up appearances and making sure the kids didn't cause him any issues. "I was kinda hopin' for a free bar or something, you know?"
He blinked in surprise as Kyla and the thing from the beach (Quina) shot past them, Kyla being dragged along in the thing's wake.
As soon as she got inside, Bobbi headed straight for the central command chamber, where they'd spoken with the Grand Councilwoman earlier. She wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else they needed to deal with before she went and had a nice mental breakdown. She could hold herself together for a few more minutes, make sure everything was fine, but she couldn't keep it up for long. She needed to go batshit at something--either curl up in a corner and cry, or beat the living snot out of something. Maybe both.

[Kai: Hawaii: Lugae's Lab]
“I was about ask the same thing..”
The cup of tea meant originally for Azreal but refused, floated up into the air where Kai was manifesting from her own Corridor of Darkness. It had been a while since the dark Pictomancer had graced them with her brooding presence, and there was a very distinct difference in her usual mood. She looked satisfied. Her mouth curved in that small genuine smile that used to only rarely appear on her originals.
The cup floated to her hands corresponding with her pen motion, and bringing it to her lips she sniffed it to guess the flavor. Looking up from the steaming surface of the brew liquid she surveyed Ajora again, nothing much seemed different to the untrained eye, but thankfully she was an artist, thus obsessed with details. How could she possibly ignore his hands. “Nice jewelry. I never guessed you were into accessories.”

[Kyla: Mothership]
How did this Qu actually know where the kitchen was? Could Quina smell it or something? Chef’s intuition? Kyla looked flustered as they dashed on, passing the pair of nobodies playing ‘buddy’ and she gave them a pleading look as they disappeared down the corridor.
“Quina- how- oh..nevermind. Lead the way.”
Kyla picked up the pace so she wasn’t being dragged anymore, but let the Qu take the lead and watched the confused and surprised looks of the crew as they passed. And why shouldn’t they be- Quina wasn’t an alien they’ve encountered yet right? Though she could sure pass as one. Then again weren’t they all technically aliens?
Ok she was starting to think too hard into this, but it felt good to focus on something else. She was worried about the others. How they were feelings. For because of now.. those who attacks those ships- those who shot them down, would have to face the idea that they’ve actually- truly murdered real humanoid beings.
Up till now they’ve fought monsters, replica’s and nobodies… something about fighting and killing solders seemed like something else entirely. It probably shouldn’t be, but that’s how it felt. She should count herself lucky she only destroyed heartless- but then again, she did kill Saix right? Nobody or not, that used to be a person. No heart- didn’t make them any less of a person right?
Suddenly Kyla wanted that drink even more. Wait maybe turning to drink wasn’t such a good idea, this could be a very bad habit- good God she knew that all too well.
‘ Tyue keep track for me if I go too far ok?’
~ You won’t, but I will if it makes you feel better.~
‘ I have no right to feel this way though.’
(( Ummm, is there an actual layout of this Mother ship that we can use to navigate with?))

[Axel: Mothership]
Good, Demyx was willing to play along. “You short on cash- I’m not surprised for some reason-“
Just then Kyla was dragged by the Qu right passed them, she had this look on her face like ‘Save me!’ but not really. Wait- it was more like, ‘ I have no idea where I’m being taken- should I be worried?’ Yeah- that was the look.
“Any guesses that thing with the huge tongue might know where to go?” He said fishing his hands into his pockets and finding out she was short on cash too. Oh well.
“Let’s see if it’s a free bar or not- besides, you’re one of the heroes from the fight right? Free drinks for you at least- that’s assuming you didn’t play chicken again..riiiight?” Axel couldn’t speak for himself, apparently form what he gleaned he must’ve been terrible company for the past few hours. Selecting a more humorous smile on his face for this appropriate moment, he took off after the Chef and its human hostage. Not after saying “First one there, gets the FIRST drink then-“ of course.

[Quina : Hawaii : Mothership]
Quina continued to pull Kyla with him as it followed the different pathways, stopping a couple of times to look in various directions when there was a path, almost as if he was sniffing the air. After a few more moments they finally found the ship's messhall, complete with a kitchen and dining area. The chef let go of Kyla's hand and headed straight for the stove, chasing all of the normal workers out and getting looks from everyone else as he started to place several pans on the stove and started working to prepare a meal.
After several minutes, Quina came back to Kyla with a small mug of what appeared to be an herbal tea. It also gave off a scent of something sweet.
"You drink. Good drink. Relax." Quina said to the girl before going back to the kitchen, dragging along a couple of the workers to help with the preparations.

[Kyla: Mothership: Messhall]
Hoping that the Qu wasn’t going to stuff her with food still she got sick- Kyla smiled as best she could and sat down at what appeared to be a bar table closest to the kitchen doors.
When Quina came back out, bringing with him/her a cup of tea- the girl thanked him/her gratefully and sipped the brew deeply. It tasted wonderful. The best cup of tea she had in a long time. Potent, sweet, flavorful with hints of some herbs she knew, and some she’d never tried before. It made her shiver from head to toe, and warmed her skin upon swallowing. Her cheeks turned red and her eyes went misty as she took another deep sip. Whatever it was, it was making her completely unwind, mind and body.
She wondered then, and looking up from her glass she called into the kitchen area.
“Quina, have you ever had to kill someone in a battle?” It was an honest question. For even though she knew the story of final Fantasy 9, it was assuming a lot to think the story was exactly the same for Quina in this world. Maybe he/she never did fight anyone, or faced off against Kuja or anyone else before in this universe.
Quina maybe a chef, and be obsessed with food, but the Qu possessed moments of clarity and alternative wisdom that could be very helpful in this situation. She needed that, a fresh point of view that couldn’t be contrasted to anyone else's.

[[No map, but don't worry about it, this is pretty much just cool-down time :3
Also, this is assuming Azrael would muse over Ajora's response. If he would jump into the conversation at some point, feel free to edit my post accordingly and send what would come afterward to me in a PM so I don't have to type it all up again x_x]]
[ Ajora ; Celia ; Lettie ; Zexion : Hawaii : Lugae's Lab ]
Ajora nodded to Azrael's initial response and chuckled to Kai's, giving no immediate response to the 'accessories' comment, taking a seat near where Zexion had originally been seated (he had gone off to get the tea).
"Well well, seems the busy bee has arrived. Have fun in Port Royal and the little scuffle outside?"
As he spoke, Celia and Lettie began to pace between the Bio-tubes, starting from opposite ends and gazing at each one they passed for a few moments before moving on.
"I found and absorbed a new power source," Ajora explained as briefly as possible, watching as Zexion returned with an additional cup and the main pot. "Ah, thank you."
"Yes, I thought as much. Your smell... it's different, but familiar," he responded, taking a seat and keeping his analytic eyes on the Replica. "It reminds me of-"
"Kefka's Tower," Ajora finished, nodding with a small smile, though it seemed more focused than happy. "It seems he and his friends have been hiding something from us. I'd suspected, but never actually... Have you ever seen the tower from the outside?"
"Never found the need. What is the source?"
"Nethicite- crystallized Darkness. And if I'm right, the origin of all Nethicite rests at the tower's peak," Ajora explained, smirking as he looked into his cup, swirling the tea around.
"That would explain the depths of their power," Zexion muttered, nodding lightly. He found it... strange. Not just the topic, but the conversation entirely. Talking with the Replica was very much like talking with the Original, though the first at least had some humility.
"Why do they each have Slave Crowns on their heads?"
Zexion started, though it was barely noticeable- a raise brow. The sudden non-sequitur had caught him off-guard. "First and foremost, I thought it better to have them directly controlled, preventing certain anomalies from going wild."
"You know, I'd probably be taking that as a direct insult if I weren't in such a good mood already," the Bloody Executioner replied, his eyes narrowing at the Cloaked Schemer. "I thought I'd been on my best behavior with our allies so far."
"Yes, there are quite a few of you who are reasonable, but what of the archer's replica? And you've seen what that dagger-child is like," Zexion continued, rolling his eyes as he recalled the hijacking of the Pearl. Ajora merely said 'touché' and nodded, allowing the Nobody to continue. "However, there is a secondary reason. Of the new batch, a few of them began to deteriorate after the Heart replication began- namely, those who already existed."
Ajora said nothing; however, Celia and Lettie, regardless of where they were on the lines, immediately cocked their head to look at the nearest 'second' replicas.
"Their Hearts proved naturally unstable. The only theory I have is of their origin- Earth. Something about it, or them, or the way they came here, gave their hearts some unique properties," Zexion began, his eyes lowering to his book, though he wasn't reading. "A perfect Replication is normally possible- Vexen proved that with his Replica of Riku back in Castle Oblivion. But something about the Earthlings... exact copies are an impossibility, and duplicates of a modification also seem to collapse in seconds. The only means of keeping them alive are the Slave Crowns, which essentially keep the mind and Heart of the wearer in a miniature stasis. The moment the Crown leaves their heads, their Hearts will collapse and they will fade into Darkness."
"Hrm... I suppose that's fine. I wasn't planning on allowing them to live, anyway."
"You plan to remove the Crowns, then?" Zexion asked, looking back up toward the Replica. His tone was still as dry and neutral as before, so if he was surprised, he hid it very well. "You'd have an army at your fingertips."
"True, but they would be drones, their abilities limited to what I know of them," he explained, leaning away from the finished tea and shrugging. "Their potential lies in their own existence. Besides, I find it more enthralling to have willing followers- validates my actions and goals."

{Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Mother Ship Mess Hall}
"I dunno, I think that thing will eat anything it can fit into it's mouth," Demyx responded to Axel with a disgusted look on his face. "But hey, better than nothing." When Axel mentioned "playing chicken," Demyx gave him a scathing look. "I totally did not! I, uh, stayed with the ship to, uh, make sure nothing attacked it. Yeah!"
Demyx followed Axel, Quina, and Kyla to the ship's dining area, but didn't bother to respond to Axel's challenge. Instead he saved his breath for running. He was just inches behind Axel when they made it there, and the savory aromas of whatever was being cooked hit his nostrils.
His stomach could be heard growling from across the room.

[Axel: Mothership: Messhall]
Good grief, Demyx had a point about the size of that things mouth, and if that was true then maybe Kyla did have a good reason for that expression after all. Ah yes and then there was hunger. Perhaps a precious memento to what truly feeling was like. Even with the lack of hearts, they could at the very least still physically feel things. Demyx’s stomach voiced what his own was doing more silently, provoked by the aroma’s coming from the kitchen. At the bar table which framed the front of the kitchen he could see Kyla seated on the edge with a large mug in her hands.
“Oh- guess she beat us to the first drink then.”
He gave Demyx a glance- Time to play normal it said, and crossing the mess hall the nobody placed himself about one seat away from the earthling keeping a respectable distance. It seemed all the Earthlings were being touchy right now. He caught the tail end of what she asked.
“Now why on earth would you ask someone that? Seems like a pretty personal question if you ask me.”
