"I was just going to get a glass of water..." he said quietly. He glanced uncertainly at his father, "What's going on?"
"Nothing for certain but Ro and I are concerned about a few things," he said quietly before continuing to explain the potential danger once more. "We've talked to your siblings, we don't want you to be afraid be we need you to take more caution in your actions." He frowned, "For example, not staying out so late away form the house with only a baby pony for company..."

Ro rolled her eyes and handed Valzar a glass of water "Being back earlier would be appreciated but don't feel you can't meet with her anymore if you'd like to. Oh.. and we got Synne a bodyguard so be prepared to hear her whine about it"

"Thank you," Valzar said quietly taking the glass before giving his father another curious look. "You got her a body guard?"
Azaroth shrugged, "Rowena thought it would be a good idea..."

Ro sighed "Synne is never going to let herself be locked up here... so I'd feel better having someone watch her while she's out there alone"

"Oh, I guess that makes sense," he glanced between the pair again. "You really think she's in danger? Maybe one of us should stay with her instead of a stranger..."

Ro sighed "You or Erian would be the only ones who wouldn't get distracted. Erian won't leave the house though and its not fair to ask you to follow her around. I know how important your training is to you. We're not actually sure of the danger... its a possibility though"

"Don't worry," Azaroth added. "Her bodyguard comes with high recommendations. He's Sal and Godric's grandson and he seems very capable and willing to protect your sister."

Ro nodded "He's part machine from his mother and has amazing speed. He can keep up with her with no problem.."

"Ok," Valzar said quietly, apparently content with the answer. "I'm sorry for staying out so late. I'll be more cautious in the future."
Azaroth shook his head, "Just be careful when you leave the house."
Valzar nodded and left with his glass of water hoping he could still study his books for a little while before bed.
