You're so blessed to remember your dreams. Know what you can do with bad dreams? It's called Sennoy (?sp) Dream Work. Did I mention this before? I don't think so. Sorry if I'm repeating myself.
1. When you wake up tell the dream out loud in the present tense, including what you see and hear and feel. It's best to tell it to another person, who tells it back to you in the present tense. But you can do it by yourself too.
Example: I'm walking down a road. I see trees on both sides of the road. The road feels strong under my feet. I feel happy.
2. When you finish telling the dream, go back to the element that was scary or troubling.
Example: Suddenly I see a big brown bear running toward me and I feel scared.
3. Ask the troubling element what it wants. If an answer doesn't come right away, ask again. Keep asking until you get an answer. It your dream and you're entitled to an answer.
Example: Bear, what do you want from me?
4. If what the element wants is acceptable to you, give it. If it's not acceptable, offer it some substitute.
Example: Bear says, "I want to pass by you unharmed." You say, "fine, we will pass each other and not harm each other."
Example: Bear says, "I want to eat your fingers." You say "no, but I will give you love and acceptance instead.
5. Once the dream element accepts your offer, ask the element for a gift. Keep asking until you get a gift. It's your dream and you're entitled to a gift. It can be anything at all.
Example: Bear gives you a power stone. Or bear gives you a feather. Or bear gives you a song.
6. Get or make the dream element's gift and put it where you can see it. It is your power object.
Example: If the dream element gives you an object, draw it or make it or find it. If it's a stone, go out an try to find one like that stone. If it's a feather, go out and try to find the feather.
Does this way of processing your dream appeal to you? I was taught it by a dude who teaches it at Duke Medical School. But I learned it from him at a community center.

You have mentioned it to me before but not in this much detail, Thx you Harvey. Oddly enough, I was inspired to draw something to day and I wrote on the picture something that came to me at the same time. Not sure if it is to do with the dream exactly but it could be. I have often had a facination with playing cards, I was inspired to draw this one today.

Are you familiar with the history of cards? You're so into so many things including history. So I think you know probably more than I do. But I read that during the Dark Ages a lot of the ancient spiritual teachings were hidden in the symbols of ordinary playing cards. That would keep the information safe and at the same time keep the people safe. Anyway it seems to me that your card drawing is a symbol of (1) playing the card you're dealt (what life has given you) and (2) the longing of your heart for a love connection. Is that how it looks to you?

I do understand and have heard that Cards were used for thier symbols and that they many meanins and could be used in many ways from tell a person's fortune to predicting the outcome of a person's life. 3nodding
It does seem to me to be that way yes that it is there to tell me something though not quite sure what exactly. But I do hold to the idea that the heart is my attemp subconiously to reach out for Love perhaps.

What a love-ly image. Reminds me of the Unity prayer:
The Light of God surrounds me The Love of God enfolds me The Power of God protects me The Wisdom of God guides and directs me Wherever I go, God is And all is well And so it is Amen.
Wow. I haven't thought about that for years. So thanks buddy.

It's another 90 degree day. It's been a record breaking hot summer. I didn't need a tv weather reporter to tell me that. Is it still crazy hot there? I have to go out and water my garden. Again. Damn.

The pepper plants really like the hot weather. I've had a bumper crop this summer. Yesterday a buddy on the other side of the state told me it's the same in his garden.

Seems like I've heard that too, that peppers are from hot climates. I hope they're ok right now. It's down in the 50s this morning. I'm sure they're not happy.
