You know what would be great? If I had a voice changer that could make me sound like a man in games, so I wouldn't have to be so self-conscious about talking when I'm the only one without a deep voice.

I don't have a headset or anything though, just a webcam/mic.

If it makes you feel better, I've been told I sound like a 5 year old, so I pretty much don't talk on mic ever

There used to be this one woman on YTV who always sounded like she was on helium, or like the singer of the band Aqua.

Approx. 99% of women don't. xd

I've known who she was forever. I only got to know Mini Moon like last year.

The sound of my voice varies from device to device. People actually started hating the sound of my voice more in game when I got this mic, I think because it pitches my voice up a little, at least compared to the mic I'd owned before this one. Conversely I think most phones pitch my voice down substantially. Sometimes a person has a weird or loud phone, like my dad, and I can hear myself talking half the time I'm on the phone with them, and it's really deep sounding.

I think Fish is the only person here who's actually encountered me in real life. I wonder what his main takeway was. Was it "Huh, holy s**t I just met that Kegan guy," or "Huh, his voice sounded weird."

But the weird thing with voices is that noone can actually hear their own voice the same as other people do, and machines never reproduce voices perfectly either.

It doesn't help that I pitch my voice up or down intentionally or unintentionally in various situations. It's comical. If I'm uncomfortable, I'll catch myself getting really high pitched because my throat starts to like... swell up.
He had a solid 5 to 10 of awkward exchange with me while we waited for the doors to open. So nope.

Frankly, I don't remember much of it. I recall a homeless guy, and joking about the s**t written on the wall.
