"Aquans! Hi," she said excitedly, appearing from behind the couch from seemingly out of nowhere. Her eyes fell on Cody, to whom she gave an enthusiastic wave. She had not seen him since she had gotten back, and it was always nice for her to see an old face.
"I'm not interrupting anything, am I?"

"Adie!~" Sammy sang, tackling her friend playfully. "What's up?~" She chimed. It seemed that almost everything she said now was put to a melody.

"You're still young. You'll find someone. Don't worry about love, ok? It'll find you, not the other way around." She turned her gaze back towards the ocean. "If it means anything, I'll help you through it as best I can. I might not be as 'special' as that special someone, but I still want to help you."

Cody sniffled lightly, wiping tears from his face with his forearm. "Thanks Maddy. It means alot."

Sammy had a strange feeling in the pit of her stomach; something was telling her that there was someone important to her close by. "Who all is here, besides you three?" She asked Adie, Mr. Ginji, and Jack.

Maddy smiled. "Now, no more crying. You gotta be strong now." She stood up, hauling Cody to his feet as well. "You don't have to do it now, but I think you should go apologize to them eventually."

"Maddy and Cody." Jack said, still staring at the sheet. "******** I can't read it." He got up to go look in the mirror.

Sammy stood there, frozen, as the name was spoken. "C-...Cody?" She whispered, a small smile on her face. She could apologize! She was determined to free herself of the huge weight on her shoulders, once and for all. Now she could truly have her "Kokoro" back.

Cody grabbed Maddy's wrist and helped her as she pulled him up. "Thanks," he chuckled. "There's no time like the present." Bringing out his pokeball again, he threw it on the ground, shouting, "Houdini!" and disappeared in another flash of light, appearing inside HQ by himself doing a small cheesy jazz hands thing. "Guys, I'm-" At that moment he saw Sammy and tried not to choke up. The least it had done was render him speechless. Who knew what could come next. "I'm sorry..." He was trying his hardest to keep himself from crying.

Sammy had no idea what Cody had to be sorry for, but she replied by saying, "Cody, I'm sorry for all of the bad things I've caused you. I beg forgiveness, so that I can finally be free," she grinned childishly, yet shyly. She wanted to stop this madness, and if she couldn't get forgiveness from her dad, she was going to get it from Cody.

"Sammy!," she called out, laughing as her friend came out of nowhere and tackling her. She listened to the conversations as she disappeared into the kitchen for a bottle of water, reappearing as she saw Cody and Maddy come back from the beach. She knew that there was a lot of emotion in the room right now, especially between Sammy and Cody, but she could just not contain herself. Running over, she gave Cody a quick hug, glad to see an old face again.
"Sorry! I know I'm interrupting, but I just wanted to say hi!" Backing away from them, she jumped over the back of the couch and landed in a sitting position, looking at them with a bright smile on her face.

Sorry? For what? What happened was my fault. he though to himself. "Sammy, can we talk?" he almost begged her. The tone of his voice sounded desperate. He wanted to get things straight with her more than anyone else right now. She seemed to be blaming herself for his actions.

Sammy nodded, quickly looking to Jack. She hoped he would be okay with this. "Alright," she nodded. "Up we go~" she chimed, walking through the teleporter and to the beach. She couldn't help but be happy as she had been all day-- It seemed she was the happiest she had been in awhile.

Maddy stayed up on the beach and gazed at the moon's reflection in the still waters of the ocean. She shivered a bit and hugged her knees to her chest. "..."
