(Sorry about that. I was over at a friends house today. sweatdrop ...anyways...
P.S. Nugging means with your hand right? I'm going with that.
P.P.S. Everything that happened from my last post I didn't notice as I had fallen asleep. Just wanted to let you know that.)

I had drifted off again and I was jolted awake when Mortis nugged me. I looked up sharply and grabbed his arm, twisting it around. "Why did you have to do that? I had actually fallen asleep."

I sighed an released his arm. "Sorry, i'm a little high-strung. I'm so going to kill Myythren after all this."

I shook my head and leaned back. "Now what do you want?"

Shadow then stands up hearing Azriel and Angelique crying. She goes over to the cribs and picks them both up while singing trying to get them to calm down but it wasn't any use.

"to get rid of that tude you're showing" he said jokingly. "i'm gonna get all those crappy drugs out of your system and heal the thr right way" he said seriously.

I raised an eyebrow. "You can do that? But, you're a demon...a blood demon at that." I was extremely skeptical about this. The only demons I knew that could heal were demons specialized in healing. I doubted a blood demon was one of these.

"BLOOD demon...how does that not scream healer??" he asked jokingly. mortis put his hand over the old wound and it opened painlessly and all the toxins from the medicine flowed out in a concentrated stream. it moved into mortis' open hand wound which closed afterwards. "well that should get rid of the drowsiness and all that" he said as he shook off the effects of the medicines within his own hands. he then placed his other hand over the wound wich sealed it without so much as a scar.
"and you're all set" he said as he stood up.

I looked away when he opened the cut. I was not usually a squeamish person, but something about this procedure creeped me out. When he said he was done, I looked back. I shook myself and it was true. The headaches and the drowsiness was gone. "Thanks, Mortis. I truly didn't know you could do that. You are a big help."

Shadow walks down a hall to see no one, she sighs lightly then walks back into her room and looks at the three sleeping babies.
