He reached out for it and just barely touched it as it poofed away. Hm...So they will only be good as a distraction. They can't even shake a hand without disappearing. "No matter, I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. Let's just keep practicing. I want to show Gwyn what I can do!" He wondered if she had figured it out or not, and if she was already practicing like himself. He had began summoning his chakra and coming up with clone.
When the puff of smoke cleared his clone was there, but it didn't look like him... The colors were way off and he even had an extra arm. "That will certainly not do..." He raised his hand to it, curling his index finger to his thumb. The clone went cross-eyed as it followed the fingers to his forhead. Tenshi flicked the clone as it disappeared. "That was a poor excuse for a clone... again..." He summoned the chakra around him, making sure to mold the chakra right this time.

Tenshi finished the molding as the clone popped up in front of him. He was taken by surprise to see the clone's appearance. There were no extra body parts, but the appearance was far off. He had a pig-nose, green eyes, fair skin, and a bad case of acne. Tenshi gave a disgusted look at the thing and touched it with his foot, causing the clone to disappear. "Well what in the world... I guess I concentrated too much on one part... do it again..." He chuckled at how he was talking to himself, but it didn't matter... not like there was anyone around listening to him.
This time he was being sure to concentrate at both steps at the same time. He didn't want to be distracted and hopefully not cause a gross looking thing to appear in front of him. He closed his eyes, envisioning the masterpiece he wanted to accomplish.

After molding the chakra and the cloak together smoke appeared as his clone stood there smiling at him. "So you can smile... What about frown?"
The clone looked at him like he was stupid, "Of course I can frown. I'm not completely useless." Tenshi was surprised at the response. The clone did not only look like him, but the voice was the same as well.
"Alrighty then. Thanks for your time," Tenshi quickly said as he poked the clone as it disappeared. He placed a hand to his lips, "If it can also speak, I must spread the cloak inside me. It needs to be exactly the same as myself... I have an idea!" He had the hand that was by his mouth pointing upward into the air. A wide smile grew on his face as he prepared for the next attempt.

Instead of cloaking himself he had got the idea to just let the chakra flow from him and mold that chakra instead of molding a separate pool of it. He closed his eyes and when he heard the 'poof' he opened them. Standing in front of him was a clone... It was colorless and didn't even look alive. The eyes were an empty white, the skin looked cold and hard. Even the posture it held look like it was just barely standing up. To his surprise it just fell over and went away with another 'poof'. "Well that was an epic failure... Hmm... let's try it again, but this time concentrate." What do I concentrate on? Perhaps I should stick to the way I was doing it before. It seemed to work better. He nodded, agreeing with himself and went back to business.

Tenshi prepared making another clone. When it appeared in front of him he wondered how in the world he create it. It wasn't anything, just a blob of jelly. "Umm.... ok then..." He kicked it with his foot as it disappeared, "I guess my mind must have wandered off and didn't focus on anything. Note to self, blob of goop forms when no mental image is given." He gave a sigh and wiped the sweat from his forehead. It was getting tiresome using his chakra to create clones of himself. He couldn't imagine making more than one at a time. He sat down in the grass, catching his breath before creating another one.

Tenshi summoned up the chakra within himself and summoned another clone. The clone was on its hands and... hands? "Cool... but creepy..." He touched its back as it disappeared from him. Perhaps that will come in handy sometime... but that is still an imperfect clone. He walked over to a small pond and dipped his hands inside. He poured the water on his face as he took in a deep breath. He wiped the water off with his kimono.

With himself now feeling refreshed and cooling off he went back to his task of creating clones of himself. The old way, the one he had figured out, seemed to be the best one so far. He decided to do it a little faster this time. He summoned both pools of chakra at the same time and began molding them at the same time. Putting his index and middle finger perpendicular against his mouth he controlled the molding. After a few seconds the chakra was molded and out poofed a clone of himself. There seemed to be nothing wrong with the clone, his color a little off, but nothing too unnoticeable. "So do I tell you what to do, or simply think it?"
"Speaking it is clearer than reading your mind. I can grasp your thoughts, but they are a little hazy at the moment..." Tenshi assumed that it was due to the lack of training he had in summoning clones. He placed a hand on the clone's shoulder as it poofed away.
"More practice..." He had a smile on his face, happy with the progress he was making.

After the success Tenshi tried again. When the pools of chakra were being pulled from him, he felt his strength weakening, until he fell over. His head was spinning and he was becoming nauseous. At least he was on the ground looking at the sky. If he was still standing he probably would have vomited or worse blacked out. He placed the back of his right hand over his forehead and closed his eyes. Perhaps a small nap... Uh.... He could feel his clammy, sweaty skin sticking to his kimono as he laid there. Just for... a litt..le bit...

All he saw was blackness. The rest was appreciated when he awoke. He felt rejuvenated and had to remind himself why he was there in the first place. Clones, that's right... He cracked his neck and stretched his muscles before returning to his work. The clone had shown up in about five seconds. I'll need to keep ushing it so it comes almost instantly. He wiped the drop of sweat from his forehead. Can you understand me? The clone didn't show anything that showed he did. More practice then... Tenshi punched the clone as it poofed away. "Five more and then I should be done." He wondered how the others were doing with their training and was hoping to spar with them shortly to show how much he had grown. He smiled as he prepared for his next clone.

Mizuiro took hold of the kama and the chain, and ran around for a bit to get a good feel for it's weight while on the move, making sure he could handle it. He did actually get a little tired, but that they just be from the fact he had already done a work out with the kusarigama.
He decided to throw the kusarigama at the dummies some more, trying to get his technique perfected, but he did need to now find another means of practicing with it. What would he do now?

Mizuiro looked at the damaged dummies and realized he needed some new ones now. He looked around, and there seemed tro be no one about. He wished that the wood-sensei was around, so he could fight some puppets to get a real feeling of using the Kusarigama in battle.
"WOOD-SENSEI!" He decided to just shout out a few times, hoping to get the wooden man's attention. It probably wouldn't, but Mizuiro was quite stubborn.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 1d20 2/10

Mizuiro decided to give this another go while he waited for the Wood-Sensei to show up. He just wanted to get good at this weapon, he liked it a lot, more then he thought he would. He decided to swing the chain around for a while, seeing how he could used it to make his fighting more effective with this weapon.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 9 (1d20) 2/10 After a while, it was obvious what to do with the chain, and swung it over his head. He roughly aimed for the dummy, not expecting a good hit, he just wanted to see if he could get a hold of it and bring it to him. He had to do it carefully, making sure he didn't hurt himself in the process. He then threw the chain in the general direction of the dummy, and hoping it would just miss so that he could pull it in towards the dummy to swing right around it and latch on tight.
He did it! Mizuiro then pulls the dummy back to give a good final blow to it's torso with the kama.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 18 (1d20) 3/10 Mizuiro then decided to see how sharp the kama was, and started to dice up the dummy, chipping away at it. But as his swings got stronger, he got more tired, until he did it too hard in anger from feeling like crap and got the blade jammed into the dummy. Now he couldn't do anything with it. He decided to rest a bit.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 13 (1d20) 3/10 After sitting for ten minutes, he decided to try and get the kama out of the dummy, but it was really jammed in there. He couldn't snap it, ha, he was only a kid. It was amazing he did jam it in though, but now he had to find another one to use, or have the Wood-Sensei hurry up and come to his rescue. But he didn't think that would happen.
He looked around for another Kusarigama, and left the other for some adult to set loose.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 12 (1d20) 3/10 He finally found another Kusarigama, and found it's weight slightly different, so he had to now get used to this one, before he could really use it properly. But diversity did help him gain greater knowledge of the weapon, without him really knowing it.
He swung it around beside him, over him, and all over the place, making sure he got the balance between his strength and the kusarigama back. he wanted to make sure he perfected this weapon, because he found it to an effective one, that is for sure. He was bound to master this weapon, for he was persistent.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs 19 (1d20) 4/10 (Decided to speed this up, due to that it will take me some time to do one post at a time...)

Mizuiro was being a little cocky now, thinking he had this weapon in the bag, so to speak. He decided to see if he could somehow boomerang the whole kusarigama somehow, so that he could grapple someone and make them stumble towards him.
But after a while, he just didn't think it would work, because even he understood that kind of move was against physics.Figuring out how to use the Kusarigama DC: 15 vs (1d20) 4/10

Tenshi summoned the chakra in himself and formed another clone, trying as fast as he could. When the clone showed up, it was completly wrong. The hair was way too short and a bright red, and stood up to Tenshi's elbows. Not to mention the three arms, a tail, and one eye? Tenshi quickly touched it making it vanished and shivered, Ugh... let's not to do that again... good thing I didn't eat yet... He waited a moment to gather himself before he sat down. The use of his chakra was slowing him down and wearing him out again. Tonight's sleep would be welcomed as soon as it came.

Tenshi had tried to make another clone, but he needed to rest a little bit. He wondered how much longer till he graduated from the academy. Being a shinobi would greatly aid in his life-long quest to bring honor back to his clan, but that would come in time. For now he had to keep working on it, and try his best. He sighed and fell back, his arms and legs spread out like a star around him. He closed his eyes, resting them. He laid down in the soft grass for a few moments before picking himself back up. I still need to make five more and then show Hokaboku sensei what I can do. He smiled and nodded to no one in particular.
