*The two would reappear in a mid sized circular room with dim lighting* Well... here we are..... *The room looked more like a control center with status reports of various parts of the heart displayed on multiple screens*

*a scrawny red wolf walked up to the barrier, cautiously moving closer to it, sniffing at it when he was just barely close enough*

*Mastema looks at her for a moment* Hmm.... *In the room there were two sections of panels each opposite of each other with two opposing doors in the room as well. Mastema thinks for a moment and one of the large metal doors divides and opens horizontally. Mastema steps into the next circular room. This one had only the one door through which they'd entered and the rest was barren. There was a slightly raised circular platform in the middle of the room taking up most of the floor. It looked as if it would open in a hexagonal pattern. Mastema looks around once more while waiting for the doors to close. Soon after multiple vents start to open as well*
*For now Akai would go unattended, since he seemed to be just wild life*

*shifting his footing on a loose rock, the wolf slipped not so gracefully, falling flat, ended up with the tip of his nose inside the barrier. he just sat there wondering where the end of his nose went*

*Though Nana looked a little lack luster from usual, she did appear to be much better now than she had over the past few days. If she was right then there should be one of these threads somewhere around the core, and if there was, it would be drawn towards Nana. If it all worked, then should a similar even take place in the future, Mastema would at least have some clue as how to reverse it*

*The vents now open, the panels start to creak. They slowly pull open and the sound like that of a giant vacuum filled the air, rather loud. A brilliant golden glow came from within the large pit as energy flooded the room, "intoxicating" anything or anyone nearby. As of yet, the core was down too far to be seen*

*If a thread was nearby then now would be the time for it to escape. A strong set of pulses would come from the child, it was apperently enjoying the mass of energy; more to feed it*

*getting back up, the wolf tried sticking a paw thru and didn't feel anything when it went thru the barrier. confused and curious, the wolf walked thru the barrier and turned to face it after getting inside and tried to stick is paw back out again*

Crystal walked to the the edge and stopped. She took a seat against the tree and started tossing rocks. She new some one would come at some put if she thought them long enough.

gah..... *The energy swarming around was annoying him. He steps up to the edge of the hole and looks down at the core. For now it was merely a large swirling mass of golden energy, inside of which contained the paradoxal powers Mastema had mentioned. This is as close as he was going to get to the core*

Crystal glared at the buildings she saw. She knw a barrier would stop her from leaving if it didn't stop her from coming. She wantedto talk to Tyr. He and Focht would know best about how 9 stopped Shadow last time.

*poking his nose thru the barrier after his paw passes it. stopping he sniffed the air and smelled something he liked and recognized. heading out of the barrier, he follows his nose to Crystal, hoping she had more of that jerky*
