And then.. a big big man showed up in sunglasses and a hawaiian shirt with slacks. Some sort of sophisticated beach front resident wear.

He sat down took a deep breath and slid a small case containing a mini-disc on the table nonchalantly.

"It's too hot to destroy the world today."

Man in suit seemed to not mind the heat at all, y'know, being in a suit and all that. He took hold of the case off of the table and slid the suitcase to the other man as he put the item away into the inside pocket of his jacket. He really didnt feel the need to exchange words.

And then he picked up and began to read the newspaper that was off to the side of the table. Because current events and all that was something a person should be looking out for. Dont want to be oblivious to the world around them and all that right?

He didn't even bother checking.

"Take care not to overload it."

He stood up and made his exit.. flagging down a cab and leaving the fate of the world in the hands of.. some guy.

Man in suit simply grunted lighty in response. And then he'd wait ten minutes or so after the big man left before making his own exit. So like, it wouldnt seem ULTRA SUSPICIOUS or something.

In the resturaunt, Damrius pulled out a chair for Sutiiven, and then one for him directly across from Sutii. As he plopped down into the chair, he blew out the candle that was there on the table. One of those little resturants that put candles in jars with a bunch of rocks, but also a whole in the wall with a few windows, letting in little light.

It wasn't crowded, but it wasn't exactly empty either. Damrius had chosed on of the corner tables, mostly because the lights were dimmer over here and he could hold a better chat in private here.

So... I'm guessing you wanna know what happned a few -- Coffee for me, please --- hours ago at the arena?

Dame said this, the waitress nodding and writing it down, and then turning to Sutii.

It had been a few hours since their fight in the arena. Sutii's knife wound had healed up rather nicely thanks to some Reiki and the Infirmary's help. Dame appeared to be okay from the choke he had K.O.ed him with at the end of the fight.

Stephen glanced at the Waitress. "I know its a bit early, but could I have a Gin and Toinc, please?" She oblidged pleasently and left the two to their talk.

"Alright, spill." he said, taking a sip of the complimentary water available. "What exactly was that?"

He was a bit stern about it, but only because he was worried.

Damrius watched the waitress bustle off to go and get their drinks, and then looked at Sutiiven.

I ******** up. Plain as that.

Damrius removed his sunglasses, and dropped then on the table, then leaned foreward and set his elbows on it.

I exposed the true power of this... this Curse of mine and the Spirit Reaper... I used it in a fight against Silver Moonblade, who is now an undead. I dunno if he's been ressurrected, or if I even killed him. My mind is fuzzy untill just before I enacted the spell to create the ultimate killing machine...

Damrius choked on the last three words. He knew this was dangerous.. But at least only sutii would know what had actually happened.

The spell... It requires a soul, and once used, I could be free of the curse. But, since the undead don't have souls anymore, I failed to feed the sword it's one soul, and ended up suffereing the concequences... It's eating away at mine slowly, I can feel it. I almost ripped your arm off, Sutii. I could have killed you!

Damrius was breathing heavy now, forcing the voices back. THey were coming harder since he was out like a light for all of ten minutes. Suprisingly long...

I suppose a Thank you is in order... These things are driving me insane.. I gotta kill Trinity soon, or else i'm gonna go ******** and become like the undead... Only worse.

Stephen pondered the information he had just been given. It all sounded a bit confusing, what with all the souls and curses... although he himself had been posessed by the spirit of a dragon when he had first arrived at Leviathan, so he understand the validity of Dame's story.

The waitress had returned at this point and delivered the drinks. She inquired as to their meal orders, but Sutii politely asked her to give the two a few more minutes.

Taking a sip of his G&T, he breathed in slowly. This sounded like it was gonna get him mixed up in a heap of trouble, or worse... but he couldn't abandon his friend in a time of need either... He looked up at Dame and spoke two words.

"Who's Trinity?"

She's... Really, she is beyond explanation... All I know, is she tried to kill me.. I was a... fluke..

Damrius downed his coffee in two gulps, straight black, and wished he hand't. Tasted chalky, kinda old.

By fluke.. I mean, I shouldn't be here. This curse, this life, it's all sounding like a bad storyline for a really bad soon to be written book.

Damrius rubbed his temples, shutting his eyes.

When.. When I was born, my powers were dormant. Of course, this was unheard of where... Where I come from. i really can't say anything as to where that is, all I know is it is not from this world, or any world in this dimension.

Basically, When a child is born where I come from, they use crystals to determine if a child has power. The crystal will glow by any newborn with powers. However, if they don't have powers, one of two things will happen - If you come from a moderate or wealthy family, or one of renown, the child without powers is killed. Simple as that. But, those from the poorer families, their powerless children are sent off to become the equivilant of your marines. First to be sent in, first to be killed off. They are barely even trained in how to use a sword and sheild, and fighting demons is something they should not be doing.

But, back to me. Finding out that my powers were dormant sent my parents to freak out mode. I was their first child. My brother, Azure, came four years later. But, the preistess doing my reading, she was an old family friend. She helped my parents get me to this world, where I lived out my life up untill HoH. That's why no one saw me afterwards, and everyone who did see me later was shocked. The time lines there must be really screwy, cause I aged ten years there, and barely a year has passed here. WHich is weird. Sounds like another screwed up bad story.

But, Trinity, she... She found me when I was about 14, and she used the Vengeful, which was from my... home, and cursed it with the Curse... It's meant to eat you alive after reaching up to your head. Destroys your soul, then your mind, and eventually drives you crazy enough to kill yourself. Takes all of ten months. But, something about me being a natural lightning elemental and the curse cancelled out that effect. Big, Fat fluke. So, the curse got activated when I was going after more power for my regular lightning, also weird, but still, important to remember...

Trinity though, she is like I am. Lightning elemental with the same curse. Only, she's a skilled assassin, so on so forth. Don't wanna drag this out any farther than I have to..

The rest happened just after I ditched you and madison to go find Silver after I got his message... I used everything I had, and it is driving me crazy - Literally. It's not appeased, the sword if from my place, the armor and clothing I have is from my house, literally, and so are the crystals in the swords crosspeice, which really isn't much of a cross peice, and the crystals in the hilt.

So, any other questions? To actually answer yours.. Trinity is a b***h who was sent to kill me, failed on several occasions, and isn't allowed back into her order - don't know the name of said order - And she's getting pissed. I need to kill her, and I dont' care about Moonblade, not anymore. He's the least of my problems. Trinity though, can command an army far, far larger than anything this planet could muster. Undead demons, uber strong, uber fast, the Grunts are idiots, but killing machines, Elites can sort of talk, and use weapons, still killing machines... And the rest are just too horrific to menton.

Stephen was stopped mid-drink by the talk of Undead Deamon things... His eyes almost comically had a look of "HOLY s**t..." at the premise.

In order to not choke on the beverage, he sipped again and swallowed the drink, sitting the glass back down on the table.

Sutii was slightly confused by the whole story, but the premise of curses and assasins and deamons were a little bit distressing.

In layman's terms, he was friggin freaked out.

Dame would totally owe him SO big time for helping him out on this one.

Regaining his composure, he paused and breathed in. "Okaaaaaaay... so, you're currently being chased by some psycho b***h looking to collect a bounty on your head, and you need to take care of her before you get possesed and turn into a mindless killing machine with a taste for human flesh and the utter destruction of all creatures not equal to the "unmatched strength" of your evil hive mind mentality? Oi, I dun get paid enuff fa dis s**t..." Said the lad, slurring his words at the end in expression of his dislike of the situation.

I'm not asking you to help, boyyo, but if you want to... You can. I can't gaurantee you your life, I can't gaurantee my life. But, I CAN guarantee that there will be a LOAD of undead demons attacking that are far more dangerous than the s**t that attacked barton. These things kill you, they can raise you instantly. Supposedly.

Damrius winced as the flashback of a small part of the Powerless he was leading to the front lines of a war between the two races shot through his mind.

The bodies.... They need to be burnt... And something like that... Well, I don't know if the people here have the same immune system as those in my place.

Damrus sighed, shrugged, and then stared at Sutii. He doubted he could lose this friend, this brother in arms, but he knew he couldn't do this alone. Even though he did know the only person who could Truly kill Triniti was him. The sword was the only thing.

Also... Trinity is a little over ten thousand years old.

Stephen paused for a second and downed the rest of his G&T in one go. After exhaling with an "Ah..." and sat the glass back on the table.

"So, where do we start?"

Sutiiven one one of those crazy people who had to help out a friend in need no matter the costs.

"Just understand that if you go Evil Undead Deamon thing on me, I will have no choice but to kill you or incapacitate you indefinetely until I can get a cure for you... if such a thing exists. Also, I'll risk my life for you any day, but if things get too out of hand, I'm out. Not that I wouldnt die for you, but in this situation discresion is the better part of valor on my part. 'Aeit?"

Damrius smiled, an actual smile, something only his close friends saw.

Thank you.. and, there is only one cure - Death and fire. Kill me, burn me. Don't wait to do it.

Damrius said this with a serious tone, but his expression said that he was about to laugh for a moment.

And, I'm not gonna go all undead daemon on you. Not easily, anyway. I have to be killed by one after being bitten three times and have my chest crossed three times by the right claw, once with the left, and then left out for three hours away from the sun. It's complicated.. But it's stuff I took due note of back - er - home.

Damrius rattle his brain for a better explanation, but none came. He was exhausted, he knew he needed sleep, but was more scared to sleep than he was of some mass, uber - undead army invasion.

Also, I'm just going a little bit crazy... Crazier.. The curse did it. I just wants me to repent for the lack of a soul. But, that should be... easy... enough to fix. I hope. Hell, I could go kill a bum in that alley, and it would be over. But, I personally want the soul of Trinity to be punished for eternity. Oh, and, If I die - Do not touch the sword. It will literally eat you from the inside out. However, you can have the Vengeful. in fact, I expect you to take it. Use it wisely though...

Damrius nodded this part out, and then let out a snicker.

I'm sorry... This is just... this is new. It's been ten years since I've set out on a campaign to destroy one person. But, i'm being serious, despite the laughing. That's the coffee...

Seriously, though, do not even let those ******** demons scratch you - By scratch, I mean they will dig in just far enough to get the edge of your head muscle and everything in between. And Trinity, If you want, you can help me fight...

Damrius pointed to the scar on his right eye.

I got this from her. Also, I suggest you go and prepare... This could be a long journey... Get what you need. Mostly bandages, for you. In the meanwhile, I'm gonna run off to my little pidgeon coop, which is here, and grab you a present and some more essential supplies. Here -

laying his hand on the table, damrius left a clear plastic baggy with a bunch of decently sized diamonds in them

It'll cover more than the gold will. Just be careful.
PostPosted: Sat Aug 25, 2007 12:59 am

Sutiiven eyed the bag for a moment, then took it and added it to his usual stash of money carried on him. It was a little heavier than his gold supply, but if anyone tried to pickpocket it, they would regret it all the same.

" 'Aiet. I have to visit home and my Sensei for supplies, and maybe shop around for a few extras... I'll meet you at the town gate. If youre done before me - you know how to find me."

Laying some gold on the table to pay for the drinks, the lad rose and left the bar in order to prepare for the long fight that appeared to be ahead of him.

Damrius watched his new partner walk for the door, and as soon as he was out, he turned from the table, headed for the back door, and left the resturant himself. Heading out of the alley he was in, he headed for the room at an Inn he had rented himself for a while, walking fast, pushing around and through people, and eventually came up to the door, blood pulsing in his ears.

I can't beleive I'm involving him. But, I can't do this alone... But, then again, I risk his life while doing this, and the armor I'm gonna give him isn't one hundred percent perfect. Very light weight though... It always amazed me what those smiths back home could do with their hammers. This sword should be heavy as hell, but it's pretty light...

Damrius was pondering this as he pushed his room door open, and stepped inside. As soon as he closed the door and latched it, he went over to the desk, and pulled the extra chair out, set it to hold the door handle from moving. He then stepped over to the bed, and shoved it against the far wall with his foot.

Bending down, he reached around and pulled his combat knife out, pried up four floor boards, and reached inside. As he did so, pulled a duffel bag out, and dropped it on the foor, making a clanking noise as it did so. as he put the floorboards back, and the bed, he removed the chair, and pulled the door, busting the lock as he did so.

Steping out into the hall, he headed back downstairs, and out the front door, tossing a fair sized bag of money at the innkeeper, and headed for the front gate, Dufflebag over his shoulder.

He was wearing a familiar leather tan coat, his boots covered by tan leather pants, and his gloves still on. His swords were both visible on his belt, but so was the Thunderblade on his back - A hand and a half Broadsword, using thunder energy as it's main sorce, made of Dragonsteel - Ryugi's present for gaining access to the Elemental Plane of Lightning.
