[ Sora, Riku, Cloud, Seymour, Kyle, Beatrix, Yuffie : Hawaii : Village ]

"Yeah, you look fine," Kyle responded sincerely, nodding with a smile. His ears, however, perked up lightly when he overheard Bobbi shout something about Zexion. He turned to face the situation and realized pretty quickly what was going on- Lexaeus was asking about Zexion.

Nodding to Sayrike as she walked off, Kyle walked over to the group talking about Zexion, his face growing neutral- robotic, even.

"Zexion joined this group at the same time I did. He was the one who found me roughly a week ago and he helped get me acclimated with this new world," Kyle explained, his tone without emotion. "He trained me and helped me come to terms with the situation, while I helped him by explaining the events after his death. When we joined the group, he helped us all defeat a number of opponents, including Hades. However, earlier today he seemed to have a metaphorical change of heart and betrayed us to a secondary batch of Replicas, as well as Xaldin, Larxene, and Luxord. We haven't seen him since."

Kyle paused for a moment, looking quietly into Lexaeus' eyes, one of the few who were apparently not intimidated by the towering titan. There was something in the dragoon's eyes-

"You knew him much longer than I did, Aeleus," he began, his voice sounding... imploring. "Does that sound like something he'd do?"

[Noelle ~ Hawaii ~ Village --> Heading towards the Mothership]

Noelle gathered around where everyone else was clumping after the battle, feeling tired but happy. They were successful and that was good enough for her, all other issues aside. However, when the topic of Zexion's betrayal came up the agromancer felt a little miffed--couldn't they just be a little happy about their success for a little while? It seemed like nothing but serious conversation came up no matter what the occasion. Sighing, she pressed two fingers between her eyes, wandering toward the approximate middle of where everyone was and stuck both her hands in the air in an attempt to gain the attention of all those tall people. Kyle was right, regrouping at the Mothership was what needed to be done. They had another world to solve problems at afterall.

"To the Mothership, AWAAAAAAAY~!" She exclaimed, heading that way in a goofy fashion. "Don't make me shove you all into a hole and launch you there. It'll happen. True story."

[Axel: Hawaii Village > Heading towards the Mothership]

Axel plastered a nice grin on his face for her; “Aww- thanks a lot, but I think I’ll live. That –blue squirrel- seemed to have done the trick.” He said gesturing to the summon as it moved from person to person checking on them.
Besides, she looked rather winded herself. He must’ve missed one heck of a party. He listened intently after that- right up the part when Kyle explained how the stoic bookworm jumped ship. And Axel wasn’t he least bit surprised.
“Baaah!-“ Axel’s voice cut in from the place he sat on the ground,-“ Zexions just doing what he does best. Stick with what he perceives as the winning team.” He sneered with his false imitating bitterness “The guys a nobody, plain and simple. No more moral compass or compassion, just cold logic behind that book of his-“ he looked up at Kyle with those green eyes, which didn’t so much as flinch when he looked into the alien expression on the Dragoons face “I’m not saying it gives him an excuse for what he does, but it doesn’t give any of YOU guys an excuse to expect anything less from him- or us.”
Axel then got off his butt and stood up stretching his hands high above his head. He looked to the tiny animal with the bejeweled forehead and tips an invisible hat to it. “Thanks fluffy.”

Tyue!”

“ I thought you were Carbuncle-?”
-whatever it’s not like you care right?”
the little creature retorted it’s fluffy tail flickering back and forth.
“Well said.” And with that Axel headed off to the Mothership after Noelle who led the way.
“Think they got any good food on that Mothership?” he asked her.

[Kyla: Hawaii: Village]

Kyla actually believed Noelle would make due on his word, besides, they could continue this conversation on the Mothership too. Time was on the essence it seemed, and it seemed also a bad idea these days to stay too long in one place.
As people continued to re-capp, reunite, return to the Mother ship or recheck on the wounded, Kyla did the last of that list. All this time everyone else has woken up- and yet still…
“He still hasn’t come to?”
No

“Why isn’t he waking up? Is he really hurt worse than the others?”Kyla asked her summon who had returned to the genomes side. The little creature looked up at her perplexed. I used my Ruby Light- but maybe it isn’t enough? Kyla smiled and rubed the space between the Carbuncles ears. “you did your best. I think I have one more potion left- “
“He could also be hurt in a more seriously way that we just can’t see yet.”
User Image

“I certainly hope not-“ Kyla finally turned him over and just tried tapping his face.

User Image
"Zidane? Hey- Hey can you hear me? Zidane? Try opening your eyes.”
She supposed she could carry him a number of ways; he wasn’t very big compared to her, though it would be awkward. She could also lift him onto a moving platform she could create and it would be like a motorized stretcher. He held the poor hero’s face between her hands lightly tapping his cheek, trying not to hit to hard.

“I’ll get Dawn.” Tyue said and was just about to start bounding over to the Wind Dancer when Kyla stopped her.

User Image

"Wait..." Kyla's tone of voice carried a long suspicious drawl.
The summon turned around and looked back at her, curiously watching as Kyla leaned down and began to peer closer into the youths face.
User Image

Closer... closer...

"It..it's can't be.."
What was wrong?! Was it worse then they both thought!?User Image
"He...-"
Suddenly Kyla gave a gasp and Tyue nearly jumped- thinking the worst until-

"..He's ..snoring?!"

User Image

- but instead the carbuncle did something like a face plant into the dirt.

{Auron : Hawaii : Village}

Auron had been keeping silent, though listening intently upon what was being discussed. It was mainly a lot of serious talk regarding Zexion's betrayal of the group. The samurai didn't really know much about the schemer, so he couldn't say if it was something he would do or not. Suddenly Noelle seemed eager to get them all moving and threatened to launch them all to the Mothership. He smirked as he began to walk towards it in silence to stop next to Kyla and Zidane, who was apparently sleeping.

"I'll take him, save your energy." he stated plainly as he reached down and picked up Zidane, setting him on his left shoulder.

The small monkey-tailed man was not very big or heavy. For the samurai who was used to swinging around a massive katana, he was nothing. Auron's katana rested on his right shoulder as he walked on towards the mothership.

[Joe: Hawaii: Village]

The male blinked back into reality as the guy pulled off his mask. One could almost hear the gears grinding in his head as he blinked up at the tall man.

"...OHMYGODMATHY"

And then Joe flung himself at Mathy, knocking them both onto the ground with Joe sitting on Mathy's stomach. "HOW?! WHY WHEN WHATWHATWHAT?!" Needless to say, the male seemed excited. If he had a tail, it'd probably be furiously wagging.

[Lexaeus]

The nobody thought about what the girl said. He 'betrayed' them. It made Lexaeus wonder if Zexion had planned that all along or not. Which wasn't entirely implausible, really. And then one of the males spoke up.

Replicas. Xaldin, Larxene, and Luxord. Hades. All names that struck the Silent Hero with mild discomfort. Seems like things had gotten quite complicated. Just what has Zexion gotten himself into since Lexaeus' demise?

Also the use of his original name sent a scowl in the male's direction. How did he know it?

"That depends on the situation." Though it didn't sound like something Zexion would do at all. Why help them for so long(at least, what seemed like a long time from the vague explanation), and only then ditch them? Why turn to those nobodies and other replicas? Especially when Replicas were...unstable, if he remembered that replica Riku correctly. That was a multitude of issues, there.

Lexaeus wanted to know the logic behind his actions. What in the world had happened to Zexion while he was gone? Why did-Axel was speaking.

He gave the fire nobody a cold stare as he 'retreated' to the 'mothership'. He had missed a lot, apparently. With a small nod to himself, Lexaeus asked one question. "Where did you see him last?"

((Author's note: If you people are smart, you'll try convincing him to stay with the group in hopes Zexion meets up with them again. Otherwise, in character he'd just leave you all high and dry and go off on his own. While I can work that, in a way, I think you'd all rather I not XD))

[ Matt :-: Hawaii :-: Village ]

Matt was caught in a laughing fit before he could answer Joe, overjoyed that he was reunited with his friend and amused by his reaction. "I don't know how or why myself, but I found myself in the area about a week ago and have been living like a ninja hobo." Matt grinned stupidly up at Joe, simply elated. "And what've you been up to?" he asked.

[ Kyle : Hawaii : Village ]

"Between the two of you, the only one who'd been disloyal was you, a*****e," Kyle immediately responded to Axel's statement of Nobody 'personality' before Tyue managed to jump in. "Zexion stuck beside the Organization, even when faced with the fact that Sora and Riku had defeated everyone in Castle Oblivion. You, on the other hand, gave up any loyalties and betrayed all of them. Everyone knows you were the reason he died the first time, so why don't you just shut the @#$% up and stay out of this."

Kyle's tone had lost all neutrality the moment Axel even bothered to jump into the conversation, becoming a hostile snarl. For one, he'd never actually liked Axel... ever. It was a fact that Axel 'suggested' that the Replica Riku kill Zexion right in front of the Cloaked Schemer's face when the Illusionist was still very much weakened from his battle with Riku. Then faced with the fact that he was going to outright insult the kid who helped him out for almost a week...

"We saw him last in Port Royal earlier today, where half of us just came from," the Dragoon spoke after taking a few moments to recompose himself; his tone was, once again, neutral, robotic. "When he switched sides, he said that the reason he did so was that we only seemed to win with the help of others. It wasn't planned out- not from the beginning, anyway. He and I didn't even know the others existed when he was helping me train."

Kyle raised an eyebrow. "If you're dead-set on finding him, the most logical choice is to come with us. We're going to inevitably cross paths, since he's aiding those who directly oppose us at damn near every turn. We can help catch you up during the mean time."

[[Author's Note: ... incidentally, I'd planned to do this anyway. Way to make me seem like an opportunist. xD]]

[[Louis : Hawaii : Village Remains]]

The arcanist let out a long sigh as Bobbi tried to comfort him, he understood her intent, but no amounts of attempted assistance would save him from his own subconscious, hyperactive reactions to blood; if anything, the human contact made something inside him stir and made him feel worse. Louis took another deep breath and swallowed hard, feeling his skin slowly returning to the correct temperature.

As Sayrike returned, Louis raised his head and nodded meekly, "I'll be fine, really. I'm just..." Louis dropped his head again, "just feeling a bit light headed is all."

"I should be asking you that question..." Louis continued suddenly after it seemed as though he'd finished, This girl touched me while I was like... that, "You were unconscious just a second ago. You sure you're alright to be walking around so soon?"

[Michelle : Hawaii: Village -> Mothership]

When Louis had borrowed everyone's darkness Michelle had felt so incredibly light hearted that she'd taken off looking for what was left of the fight. To reach the closing scenes, unable to do a thing about the overwhelming darkness/being that was playing domination against friends and foes alike, and then just stand there and watch it all conclude sucked. She'd been confused and torn to realize that the same man who helped save her sister Dawn, was at the center of the drama, but as the mass healing efforts of various individuals swarmed about in the aftermath she was to distracted to sort things out and think.

Compared to others in their group she hadn't sustained much damage and what hurts she did have were already healed or healing. This crazy universe that they were all playing heros in was full of magic and technology that could do just about anything a fantasy nut could dream up. So why then, when Louis reverted to 'normal' and the bits of darkness he'd siphoned returned to all their owners, did she hurt so damned much.

{Cue: Desperate}

Though the fights ended, and the reunions, recaps and celebrations happened in various masses, Michelle refused to dismiss her weapons. The last thing she wanted was to keep fighting, but at the moment she was glad of the helmet that shielded her face from others. Her expression was twisted in agony and hot miserable tears were streaming unchecked from her eyes. Her Summon tried to talk to her, to help her, but she pushed her summon away. He wasn't the one she wanted to be comforted by. And she was sick of pushing the pain away. James wasn't here.

She'd done what was required, she'd fought. And she could see that Mizu and Dawn were safe in body at least as they moved about among the others, so she hadn't lost anyone else dear to her. But she missed her husband so bad right now that she couldn't suck it up and smile. Not yet. The order was given to move aboard the ship so that is what she did. Michelle found herself an empty nook in an empty room and finally dismissed her swords and hideous spandex.

Let the others celebrate victory, discus the past, and plot for the future. She would go and do when the time came, that was her job, to keep moving, keep fighting, keep trying. To make sure that she didn't run away again, only to come back and find someone else dear taken away or killed. But unless someone wanted to sit and cry with her, or had instructions on how to act. How to find James and bring him back. Then she didn't want company. She couldn't stand one more person telling her that it would be alright, or talking about anything at all. She was heartbroken, and weary, and the pain wasn't something the others could heal. So she would hide, hide and cry until she could put a smile on her face again, and act like everything was going to be okay.

[Jenny :: Hawaii :: Village]

An uneasy scowl painted its way onto Jenny's feature as thoughts darted through different possible theories in her mind. Her brows furrowed slightly as the mage racked her brain, plagued by the familiarity of the song. It was as if she couldn't recall a popular singer or actor that perched on the tip of her tongue. It was going to continue to torment her until she could pinpoint what it was. She let out a soft aggravated growl and dug her fingers into her cheek as she continued the flip through the records in her head. It was there, there was no way she could have imagined the song into the proverbial avenues of her mind.

"You've heard the song somewhere, now it's just a matter of where... but I think your facial expressions are going to worry some people," Siren commented softly after a long silence in an attempt to not disturb her summoner's efforts to recall the melody.

"I know, but you know how difficult it is, I've heard so many songs... whole cities, all their hearts, singing to me. And I thought a train full of people was unbearable last week, I've come a long way in comparison to that... but still, I can't keep everything documented. It's as if I've heard the song, in the mall or something and then... ugh!"

"The what? And you still haven't fixed your face. It'll be harder to explain what you're thinking about when someone comes up to you all worried that your face is being contorted by some unknown force... unless you want to ask someone like Joe or Kyle, perhaps they have a better recollection of the past week," Siren said, her voice a little amused. One could only imagine that her face mirrored that tone, perhaps her delicate eyebrows were perked upwards and her oceanic eyes swam with the same glimmer.

"Sorry, sorry! You know I have trouble controlling my expressions sometimes. I'm a fricken' lighthouse."

"I thought the saying was... an open book."

"Same thing technically." Jenny smoothed her hair and turned so that she wasn't facing anyone before continuing to sort through the melodies. She briefly thought about summoning her ranger helmet before realizing that had the probability that it could summon more attention. She could ask someone else, but with a quick glance in their direction, they all looked rather occupied. While taking slow, measured steps toward the mothership Jenny ruled out obvious candidates like townspeople, who would never be capable of melding their heartsong with others, at least, she hoped that was the case.

{Bobbi, Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Village >> Mothership}

"Axel's loyalties have always been to himself and no one else," Bobbi said absently, filing away all the things she'd just learned about Zexion somewhere in her mind where it would be accessible. "So, I guess, technically speaking, he's always remained absolutely loyal as well. But Zexion, I just can't see him up and changing sides like that. Something's wrong. I mean, wronger than this whole world-conglomerate, dead people being brought back to life, and just all of the general f***ery going on. ...sorry." She tacked the last word at the end, blushing a little at her language. She thought she'd gotten good at watching her mouth around the Disney-based characters, but she was tired, and agitated, and angry, and just all around not quite put together at the moment.

"Does it make a difference?" Demyx asked, lacing his hands behind his head and looking around at the group. "Zex made his choice. Nothing we can do about it. But hey, big bad and ugly just got his butt handed to him. Whaddaya say we all go celebrate? Grab a few drinks, chill out for a bit, worry about things in the morning." He glanced significantly at the group of people heading back to the ship, and raised an eyebrow inquiringly, almost invitingly.

~:That has got to be the most intelligent thing he has ever said,:~ Shiva remarked, making Bobbi choke and try not to laugh. It didn't work very well, and her shoulders bobbed with poorly smothered mirth.

"God, I must be tired," she said when she got herself back under control. "Sorry, Shiva's making comments. Lex, Kyle's right. You're more likely to find Zexion by sticking with us than by going off on your own. We attract trouble like magnets. Anyway, I'm going inside."

Her last sentence was punctuated as she slapped at a mosquito looking to make a meal out of her exposed neck. As she walked off, if one were paying attention, they would have heard her muttering "damn vampire bugs. Endangered species my arse."

Demyx rolled his eyes, thinking of the various fights the kids had gotten into in the scant few hours he had known them. The archer-girl saying they attracted trouble like magnets was an understatement. He was of the opinion that they didn't so much as attract trouble as specifically go out looking for it.

He shrugged as Bobbi walked off, but since it was his idea to follow everyone else in the first place, he figured it'd look bad if he didn't do so as well. As he shoved his hands into his pockets, he looked around to see if anyone was paying attention. Just in case they were, he said something about going to see if the aliens had any booze, and headed into the ship as well.

[Axel: Mothership]

Ooooh, someone’s feathers were definitely ruffled. So Kyle had an issue with traitors? That was interesting to know.

He had his reason or what he did; and he frankly didn’t care-Obviously-what anyone thought about him. It’s not like he had excuses, but he had his own loyalties. They just weren’t what they all seemed to believe- but it was fine this way, better even. In fact it served in his favor if these kids went on believing what they wanted about him. It kept them out of his personal business.

He gave neither Kyle nor Bobbi the satisfaction of any response and just continued along till he entered the Mothership.
Still... this conversation did bring something to the surface. He’d been neglecting his own priorities for a while. Perhaps now was a good time to start investigating his options. He watched Bobbi enter, followed by Demyx who mentioned something about Booze?
Why not?

He cast a smirk in the musicians direction- “ Race you to the nearest bar? Last one to find it pays?”

[Kyla: Hawaii: Village> Mother ship]

For a moment Kyla watched the Samurai carry off her childhood hero like a sack of potatoes- feeling the unsettling sensation of all her memories of heroic delusions shatter like a stain glass window in a church.
But then after a moment of seeing the guys head bob up and down over Auron’s left shoulder she gave a small strained laugh, shaking her head in bewilderment.
“ Thanks Sir Auron.”

As she pulled herself to her feet, she saw Joe switch from 0 to 100 in a second and glomp the new addition to the team. Now with the guys mask off she actually got a better look at him. Obviously they were very happy to see each other and it was good to see Joe smiling again.
For a moment she thought it she would never see it again.
Back to Lexaeus; both he and Kyle did seem to have a point. Zexions sudden ‘change of heart’ did seem out of character, if you excused the poor choice of phrase. Axel seemed resigned to saying they shouldn’t trust any of them- to which Kyle- wow, Kyla was surprised with his outburst actually.

She didn’t realize Kyle have such a vendetta against him. Kyle did seem fond of his semi-mentor, so she could understand his defensiveness on Zexions behalf. Regardless, the excuse he brought up seemed self explanatory in itself. Axel was loyal wasn’t he? He was just never loyal to the organization. Though it seemed unclear why he went against them before he encountered Roxas and Sora later, his actions afterwards seemed perpetuated by the sliver of what remained of the precious friendship he established between them. Out of all the nobodies, he actually did finally become a good guy and even sacrifice himself to protect Sora didn’t he?

What else does a person need to do to prove themselves in this world?

Martyrdom seemed the ultimate of what one could do- then again... there was Cory. Kill you- and Die for you just as quickly.
Back tracking in her thoughts though; All of this was excluding his actions regarding Namine, Kairi, Roxas and Xion. Maybe Kyle was just mad because he killed Zexion in the way he did. It was cruel- VERY cruel. But then again Zexion did some awful things too. Really awful things. Frankly in the end they all sucked.
But how long can one hold a grudge? Kyla would have to find that answer sooner than later now…

She opened her book and somehow felt...violated. Her finger brushing the pages tenderly, while a shiver when down her spine. Might as well make the update- though Kyla wondered if Jiminy ever got carpel tunnel or tendonitis like she tended to after all the chronicling. Still, it would be lying that it wasn’t disappointing to add the footnote of Zexions alignment under his profile page in her book.

By the time she finished her alterations Bobbi, Axel, Anthony,Auron, Michelle, Noelle and Demyx were already on board. More were beginning to follow suit.

Jenny seemed to be heading in that direction- but... there was something odd about her expression actually. Was she having a headache? Kyla watched her for a moment trying to make head or tails of what exactly she was witnessing.
Then she heard it…
It was faint- yet unmistakable. She heard it once before and instantly she whirled around in place to find it source. It was such a strangled- muffled noise, like something whimpering while being smothered.

[Joe: Hawaii: Village]

"Ninja hobo, eh? Well, let's see..." The male thought for a moment, before bringing up his hands to count down on his fingers. "Disney castle and the Hydra fight, then Agrabah and Aladdin losing his heart, the trip to the Underworld to get it back, Cory committing his first 'heinous' act of attacking one of us though he supposedly worked for Hades at the time, Narnia, Cory's main attack against us, Geists...." The male seemed to trail off for a second, before shaking his head. "They steal memories apparently. Then Ursula and her army. After that it was...Beast's Castle, where we met our evil replicas shortly after fighting a giant tentacled thing that I can't remember if we figured out what it was or not, and THEN fought Oogie Boogie, and then pirate ships, losing my eye to replicas after they got Jack's compass of desires, followed by an attack by some weird creature that stabbed me twice. Got the kickass scars to prove it. See?"

Joe tore his shirt open twice, revealing his left shoulder and right side. The scars weren't just stab marks, but actually veined out a little bit. A small side effect from the dark poison. They also were on the front and back, too.

"And then we got called to help out over here, and you saw giant war." Something clicked in the male's head. War...which means that in some of those ships there were people. He...had actually killed people? They could've survived, sure, but still....

The male shook his head. He wouldn't let himself care about enemies that chose to fight him and try to obliterate a village. Wasn't going to happen. Well, without a fight, at least.

"That pretty much covers the brunt of it." Yes, he purposely left out his fear of geists and being turned into an enemy. He was still...ashamed of that.

[Lex]

Lexaeus stared after Axel, silent. There was nothing to say. Right now, anyway. But the two of them were going to have a nice discussion later, when it was more convenient.

The people that previously worked with Zexion seemed to be right, though. Or at least they believed that they'd find Zexion again. And Lexaeus had no reason to not disagree. Look at where working alone had gotten him.

"You have a valid point, both of you. For now, I shall work alongside you." Not with, but alongside. Lexaeus made it clear they weren't 'allies', just 'people with a similar goal'. At least on one aspect.

[You have acquired GUEST:Lexaeus! Doodoodoo-doodoodoodoodoodoo~ Also Kyle, that was less at you and more at everyone else. After all, some people like being able to know things razz ]
