Resu stayed under the water for a while before slowly popping his head above the surface of the water. He could hold his breath for a very long time if he needed to, slowing ones heartbeat was a difficult skill but he had plenty of time to master it. "Enjoying yourself then?" He asked.

Brea sat up and looked at him and smiled "yes. verymuch so. its such a beautiful day." she enjoyed the sun warming her skin and her wet hair. she loved the smell of chloriene and she loved swimming with another person. she jumped back in the water making a splash and floated on her back. that was one of her favorite things todo when in the pool. floating on her back. kinda like being on air. only wetter and the sun on her face "its so relaxing to be in the pool." she looked over at him "oh and just a forewarning..i get rallied up in the pool or if i get in the mood to play pool games you're going to get even wetter." she grinned "i love playin in the pool. marco pollo is fun but i just like to splash." once again it dawned on her she was in the pool with a boy. she was in them before with boys but usually they were few and there were alot of girls. and she'd never been alone in the pool with a boy before. it felt odd. but it didn't feel too odd for some reason. she guessed it was becuase resu had such a good air around him. once again she didn't care what he said about himself. to her he was still one of the best ora'd people she'd been around.

"I will admit that it is nice. Swimming for leisure is a nice change from what I am used to. I have never been able to truly experience life until i got here. Still new at it all and well, it is all a little odd right now." Said Resu. He had been here for a year, perhaps two now and yet he had not taken to much advantage of that fact and that was mainly down to the situation the manor was in when he first arrived. They were still repairing for things, the idea of war still loomed over the manor like a bad spectre and what they saw in the plain of torment was even more concerning. One of the agents from that place still wandered around this place, probably still recovering form his encounter with Shadow.

Brea smiled and turned right side up "well having time like this, in my opinion, good for a person." she grinned and went under water. she wanted to be onary so bad. she got mischevious when she was in the water..but she thought he might not like that very much. she she returned to the surface. She looked over at resu. she was right. rita and resu were different. the only thing that was the same was their face and eyes. they're body.....was way different. Ritas body was slim. Resus was alot more....well put. She looked away and smiled slightly at the sight. she diceded to swim on her back somemore.

Resu nodded, "I agree. Things like this does seem like it is good for a person. Lord knows that I need all the benefits I can gain from my freedom." He said as he followed Brea's movements, turning as she moved outside of his vision. he was glad for the distortion effects of water, otherwise his damaged body would be plain and clear for all to see. Sure it was well defined but punishment detail and combat had covered a great deal of it with both thick and thin scars. His back was the worst part of it all, they never were to kind when they got idea's in their heads.

Brea smiled "yes. i bet he does." she swam around a little "you know." she said thoughtfully "i do not pay attention to scars. or other ailments. i focus on the persons personaility." she started another back stroke "rita had bad scars. he even had one across his mouth going down his chin. i didn't shy away from it. it was part of who he was. i relished every mark on his body. so....don't feel uncomfortable." she, once again, did not read his thoughts. she could read his body lauange. she could tell how he liked the cover up of the water. she didn't rely heavily on her telepathy. she was already a good reader of body lauange "so cherish your marks. and use them as memory. use them as fuel for what you need to do. do not hide them." she went back up to sit for a few minuites on the side of the pool.

"I could use this as fuel yes, these marks represent a lifetime of pain... several life times of pain." Said Resu as he swam over to the edge of the pool and pulled himself out, sitting close by Brea. "These scars mean so much more than I can possibly express in words. People seeing them does not bother me, it is the questions that usually follow that bother me along with false sympathy. These marks are a reminder of what I left behind and the reasons it must be annihilated from the face of the planet."

Brea sat there and looked at her hands. his hand was so close. she wanted to reach out and hold it. but she didn't think he'd very much appriciate the contact "well. i will not show you false sympathy. you're strong and understand what you need to do." she looked over at him and smiled. this guy she just met.....is......she thought he was a great man.

Resu nodded, "Thank you. I have had enough sympathy from... people. the way I look at it, if I can still walk afterwards then I will be fine. Little can crush me. I am far to stubborn." he siad. For what ever reason, Resu was starting to trust Brea, more so than the others he had encountered. She was kind of heart, a rare thing in his experiance. "thanks for listenign to my dripping that I call speech."

Brea smiled "you're very welcome. and sympathy isn't that bad. its just you need to know how to show it and how to use it.....in certian situattuations calls for it. but that's very few and far between." she smiled again and chuckled slightly "yes i can see how you could be called stubborn." she joked around slightly "and personally i enjoy listening to you speak. you actullay know what you're talking about. and you're not one to sugar coat the truth. or cover things up. i think people do that way to much these days including myself. i remember a time when people spoke simple talk and spoke the truth." she nodded "you are alot like those times." she smiled again.

Resu gave Brea and odd look, "What is the point in sugar coating what you have to say? If you are not blunt and to the point then people will never know fully what you mean... It is an old saying in the temple. 'If can't say what you mean then how can you mean what you say?' A tricky thing." Said Resu. He was normally blunt and when he did not want to be blunt he just said nothing at all. "The truth is a difficult thing. Most people do not want to hear the truth,, they would rather be blissful and ignorant, living their lives as if nothing was wrong. I pity those people. They will never grow as a being until they learn to accept the cold hard truth."

Brea nodded thoughtfully "i may not look or seem like it. but i agree with that. i may not like the truth but i'd rather hear it then somone not telling me." she jumped back into the puul she was getting a bit chilly.

"Then the two of us will get along just fine." Said Resu and he meant that. As long as the two of them were that way then not much could go wrong. The truth can hurt but it is better than living a lie." He said, mainly to himself as he ran a finger down a scar that crossed his chest. That scar was far deeper than the rest, not simply physically but also mentally.

Brea smiled at him from the pool and said quietly "i knew that when you first found me sleeping at the front door." she swirled the water around with her finger.
