Sammy sighed as she watched Jack walk away. She looked at her hands and though of everything she had caused... The ship crash. Her dad's death. Cody and Jack's fight. Cody leaving. Everyone falling through a giant hole in a cave. Jack fainting. There was so much more she could think of, but her mind wouldn't let her. Every time she tried to think of her dad, it cripled her a little bit more. "Ko~ko~ro~..." she whimpered and sang angellically.

"Now, you know that isn't true in the slightest. You keep so many of us going. Cody would be devastated. You are probably my closest friend here. Look, you just made Jack cry. We all have to die sometime, but you shouldn't wish it was before your time." She wanted to avoid sounding preachy or anything like that, but instead she ended up talking a lot more than she meant to. Still, she meant every word that came out of her mouth. Seeing the girl whimper, Adie stood, moving over to her and sitting down next to her, wrapping her arm around the girl in a hug.
"Please don't think about this anymore, ok? We love you, and we don't want you to leave us, ok? Let's just enjoy our time together, ok?" She gave the girl a bright smile, trying to be reassuring.

She felt an imaginary knife stab her through the heart; she had made Jack cry. "Cody doesn't care anymore!" She cried in dispair, thinking of the one she thought she loved. "He doesn't care, because I'm a mistake! My life is a mistake that effects other people! I hurt the people that I love, and I just want it to stop!" she yowled, burying her face in her arm.

"Aww....sweetie...don't say those things about yourself," she said, gently running a hand over the girl's back. Gently, she bit her lower lip as she watched the girl, so much pain in her. It made Adie a little sad herself, though she fought back tears. The last thing she needed was to start crying too and make her feel even worse.
"Listen to me. Sure, negative things might happen. But you affect so many people in positive ways too! Look, you are always so happy and perky, I can't help but smile when you're around! You have been such a good friend to me since I came here. Not to mention, the only other girl around here is Maddy....please don't leave me alone with these people! I need you!"

Sammy looked at the carpetting. So many pieces of fuzz; one piece could be taken out and the floor would not collapse. Her logic was as simple as that. Adie did have a point, though.... She would miss her team. But she would see them eventually. "There is not a bad soul in Aqua, so I know I will see you again. Of course, there is a good chance I'll go down under..." She sighed, shaking her head. "...Why did Cody have to go?.." she asked herself, another shot of pain going through her. Regret, regret, regret was all she had for that one day.

"Well, why can't we spend as much time with you now and then spend the rest of the time together in the afterlife?" She continued to gently move her hand across the girl's back. Adie was trying to be sympathetic, but at the same time she could not bear the thought of losing her. She was too good of a person to be so unhappy, and especially to think that she wasn't worthy to go to the good afterlife.

"I must die because I have not been forgiven by the people I have sinned," she whimpered, thinking of Cody. "I don't deserve life." She sighed. "I'm so sorry, Jack," She called out, hoping he could hear her.

Jack sniffed. "Sammy....we love you." He called out to the depressed girl.

Another knife through the heart. They had now reached an un-countable amount. "I love you guys, too," she sniffled... 'And that's the problem...' she added to herself. Everyone who loved her suffered. Always. She began to sing a small tune that she hoped would make her, and everyone else, feel a bit better. "Even if everything in the world~ Becomes your enemy~ I will protect you, so you just stay there smiling and laughing~"

Jack sniffed again. "It's not your fault Sammy. Cody snapped because of me. I got hurt because of nature. Nothing was your fault. No matter what you think it's not. And don't say otherwise because I'm not listening." Jack told her.

Adie sighed. There seemed to be no way for her to be able to get through to the girl. At least not like this. So, Adie decided to offer whatever she could to help - she was quiet and just wanted to give the girl a sense that someone was there.

"Yes, it is..." she sighed. It didn't matter if he knew her excuse, because she knew what was true. Taking off the bandages on her wound, she quickly tried to decide what she could do to make the pain too much for her body to bare. She found her TADS and smiled. She slammed it against her ribs, feeling the air go out of her.

"Sammy," she screamed out, jumping up from the couch as Jack came tearing around the corner. She made a grab for the TADS, trying to get it away from the girl before she did any further damage.

Sammy let her blood-covered TADS fall to the ground. Luckily, it hadn't broken. It didn't kill her, but it made her feel better to know that she was suffering for what she had done. A grin on her face, she let her head fall to the side with the wound opening again. She looked so peaceful, despite the pain.
