Smash Bros. 4 needs to come out. So people will play Smash Bros with me.
I guess we could play today and have lag and have to use Wiimote + Nunchuk. I WOULD.

Hey, I'm down for brawl.
I haven't transferred all my data from the wii to WiiU, though, so I'd have to hook up the Wii.

Man, I don't even know where to reach to get a handle on my life.
Should I be assembling a portfolio right now? Exploring bachelor degree options? Should I be taking some drawing classes in the mean time? Should I really be putting money towards a degree in art? Do I want to pick a very specialized degree I'll enjoy getting, or one that I'll be able to put to use in the long run? Do people even use their degrees? Isn't everyone just struggling to use their bachelors? People think they can lay there plans and that they'll be able to find employment in their dream career, but that's silly. How many people with bachelors degrees are working is restaurants right now? Do I want to be like my older brother and get a degree in history and then work in a restaurant because it's a comfortable life?
My older brother is one of many people more motivated and well adjusted than I am, so what chances do I have of making a fine arts degree work?
If I want to do art I can just do it, but that isn't what I want to do to bring in the money. My hope was to teach, and to do that I'd have to do so much more. What if getting the degree is one huge expensive lesson telling me I don't really want to do it?
What is the point of getting outrageously in debt? I can't even get a ******** job now.

I might just be acting prejudiced here, but I look at these programs and the way they sell themselves as so ******** avant garde and ******** terrible, and I just don't enjoy that kind of pretentious bullshit. People shouldn't need a god damn art appreciation class or an art history degree to enjoy art. It's so ******** contrived it makes my brain hurt.

Because it's considered the best school where I could get in state tuition and study any of the programs I wanted to.
And also it's <30 minutes from my parents house so I wouldn't have to worry about housing expenses.
Except if I continue living in my parents house there is the possibility I might go crazy. Not because I hate my family, but because it seems to be contagious behavior.

I know people in Richmond too, so I suppose finding non-scary housemates would be easier here than in other places.

Wait... are you guys up for Brawl or are you only down for Brawl? Kegan, hurry up and transfer dat data.
If I were American, I would not be working on a Bachelor's degree. It's just way too damn expensive and it seems like it may not even be worth as much as it costs to go to school here. I don't know how so many people get the money for it without being super nerds who get a million scholarships.
It costs what, around 30,000$ a year there? Well here in Canada, it's not even 8,000$ a year, and yet that still seems like WAY too much when I look at what I've gained from the experience so far. I just gotta go because my parents have been planning for me to go to university since birth -o- Like I guess it will look good on my resume, but is a degree in English/Sociology REALLY going to get me a job that I couldn't get otherwise? I dunno. >_>
I wish I were American, SO MUCH. I would just get an Associate's degree in two years and then move the ******** on with my life and make some money. My parents wouldn't be able to afford to send me to get a Bachelor's, so they wouldn't be able to force me.

Haha. You can't do s**t with an associates degree. Pretty much... if you go to a two year school here it's either a trade school, or you enter with plans to transfer to a four year school.
But, unless you know someone you can't be competitive with a highschool education anymore. People in the US are ironically "overeducated," by which I do not mean that they are more merited, wise or intelligent than people elsewhere, but that this college story we tell ourselves have dropped the value of a degree to nothing, despite the cost becoming exorbitant.
