Manager?: Nerrr. Erm. uh. We already uh filled all our positions.
Me: (Aren't you the same guy who just told me to please hold?) Oh, Alright. Thanks anyway.
You gotta be like "Well, how long will you hold onto my resume in case a position opens up?"
ah thats good 2 no because my first instinct was to go over there and like headbutt him or somethin
I'm moving on, though. I'm gonna call this grocery store that's always "hiring." I've filled out applications for them twice already and I'm just gonna call in this time and find out if they're actually hiring or just collecting applications in perpetuity like everyone else on snagajob... I won't ask it like that, of course and I'm not gonna do it now, because I imagine I'll have a better chance of getting a hold of management earlier in the day.
Somehow I though a world of possibility was gonna open up when I finally got around to completing my shitty associates. Someone suggested to me that I should look into tutoring jobs a while ago, and the sign up and application process for the 2 biggest sites for that sort of imply that it is for people with bachelors, masters or enrolled in either. Implied as in, on of the websites has a drop down bar for level of education and it's various M__s, Eds, and "Other."
And I'm just like... If I had a ******** bachelors or masters would I really be trying to use this ******** site to set up tutoring jobs? Holy ********. Will I even be able to get a job when I have a better degree? Have years of bullshit made me the easiest person to demotivate ever? How will Batman get out of this one? Find out next time!
