@ Jen: I know! Christmas this year for me will be a doosy. I'll be traveling all the way to Oklahoma to see my hubbie's brother, wife, and kids. They have two already, and a bun in the oven that should be pretty much born either right before we get there or right after. And it's also the first Christmas I haven't been with my family.
And towards all the SS talk - I know who I got ^.^ heart lol
And oh! I made my own Avi edit for fun ^.^! It's kind of a combo of some NPC, but the hair ribbons were all mine heart
Yeah, I've been away from my family for Christmas twice now, but because of jobs and stuff both times we flew to Cali on Christmas day so I was still able to be with my family on Christmas Eve
My youngest brother was due on Christmas Day, but he was born on the 11th; the day before my dad's b-day.

Oh, that's so sad. My first Christmas away it was just before Hubby and I got engaged (in fact I thought that maybe he'd be proposing there). It was really hard on me being away from my family for Christmas, and all that much harder 'cause I was still living at home. I mean I'm used to not seeing my Mom and Dad and siblings all the time now, but... yeah.
Plus, okay I'm a little sheltered, but it was also the first time that I'd been around anyone who drank, and that was a very akward experience for me.

I like BC :3 It's kinda like the people who are lucky enough to get first and middle names to make the CJ and BJ and other 2 letter nicknames ^_^ BR never sounded good for my two names, so IRL i've stuck to Bridge or just Bridgett, and in the anime realm and to close friends, it was Bridgey or BridgeChan ^_^
Wow, I'm sure that would be awkward. I've been around the drinkers all my life. Everytime I saw my uncle, and I REALLY mean every time, he always had a can of beer in his hand. It's kinda odd that after the death of his 14 year old girl that he actually stopped showing up with a can in his hand. He even cleaned his self up too.

Yeah, I wasn't sure how to handle it. Even more awkward is trying to figure out how tell the people that you are hoping are your fute in-laws that you don't feel comfortable with them drinking and driving... sweatdrop especially not with you as a passenger.

Edit: *hugs BC* plesant dreams. Yikes eek That would be uncomfortable...I've only once been in a car with someone who had been drinking and I MADE them stop and let the other persn drive the car since I can't see well at night.

3nodding yeah, it was uncomfortable... I ended up just letting my sweetie deal with it. I was a big coward. He said that he's never been comfortable with his family drinking and driving either.
