"Hm?" Resu was so lost in his own thoughts that he never even realise what was going on until it was almost to late. In a fraction of a second Resu had disappeared into a cloud of black smoke and reappeared a short distance away. he had no idea what was thrown at him but from his previous experiences, it was best to get out of the way fast and then find out what happened than to just let it hit you. "What was that? more importantly how the hell did I shadow step like that? Doe snot normally work."

Resu looked Brea up and down. This was an interesting thing, a fight with Brea in a simple training fashion. It could prove very interesting. "Let me see." Resu paused a moment as he patted his clothing, searching out his weapons, just to make sure he had them on his person which he always did. "Yes, we can do this. Just had to make sure I had everything on me. Daggers, swords, darts, little bags of tricks. yes, let us spar a little."

Resu nodded, "Yes, let us do this." Said Resu as he drew his two daggers and dropped down into his fighting stance. His stance was a very low stance and relied heavily on his legs acting as springs to get him around. His back arched a great deal and both hands were in front of him in a defensive nature. Resu let the dark magic flow through his body, fuelling his body to do even greater things. Resu may have been a simple human but he had killed vampires before in training, those vampires were often starved to a state of near insanity so this was no strange thing to him. Resu did not know his own strength or the true power that lay within him, no one did except his mistress who needed him for certain plans she had of her own.

"I am looking at the only lady here. Besides, an assassin never strikes first in open combat like this unless we have a trick up our sleeves to win in the first strikes." Said Resu, giving a tiny insight into what ways he fought by. Of course Resu would not reveal his tricks until it was time to use them and since Brea was a vampire he could actually strike her without causing much damage at all but he would still not cause any physical harm onto Brea, it would be impolite to do such a thing to the closest thing he had to a friend.

Resu did not need to follow Brea with his eyes. The magic's gave him a sight beyond sight. he could follow beings of flesh and beings without as if they moved at his own speed. It was an odd ability and was difficult to use at first, proving to be disorientating and sickening. Now he had grown used to it and had managed to follow Brea's little rout of escape. Resu focused his mind, focusing on the other side of the pool house where Brea had run to and in a puff of thick black smoke had shadow stepped over to Brea and moved in in a single effort with his daggers.

Resu took the hit and was thrown back but he recovered quickly. His training had taught him to recover from almost any strike with speed as live combat does to a person. As Resu turned to recover from a blow he threw one of his daggers at Brea. He figured she would be able to dodge something like that.

Resu really had no idea how to fight such an opponent. Vampires were fairly easy prey but one such as Brea was unknown. All he could really hope for was to survive as long as possible. With that thought out of the way he could try out a few things, it was obvious that standard tactics would not work so he had to use the more advanced ones. This would rely heavily on his magic and the side effects of such things were still unknown to him. And so as Brea came at him he unleashed a very small jolt of energy at her, if it hit it would do no more than send a slight tingle through Brea's body, of course if he missed he would end up flat on his back from what ever Brea was planning.

Resu let out a slight sigh. That did not work, he would need to try something else. So he sheathed his dagger and drew his sword. How could be proceed from here? there was no real way to proceed, he had no idea of Brea's true strength and weaknesses. So this became little more than a game to Resu now. All he had to do was tap her on the shoulder and he would consider that a victory. So he sheathed his sword and looked up to Brea. "I'm comming for you." He said as he shadow stepped to Brea.
