Lucifer Morningstar Wrong canon. And I do believe that anyone who thinks the French would stop speaking French knows very little, if anyhting, about world politics. Ellis, you've done it again. It's a comic, deal with it.

Still some pretty screwy views on politics. French not speaking French...can't even wrap my brain arond that one. Next thing you know the Pope will be a young Mormon hermaphrodite.

It was irrelevant in the end as the whole thing lasted two pages or something.

Eh, I skimmed some of that stuff. There were times where not only was it preaching, it was repreaching. I tended to skip things so I could enjoy the characterizations and ignore the fact that some of it was indrecibly patronizing. Least it ended well.

Funny, that's still not really French, it's more like Patwa (probably spelled incorrectly).

So Luce is Red Sonja #1 out yet? I've only seen the leftover copies of zero around. I figure you're the go to guy when it comes to Carey.

Lucifer Morningstar Funny, that's still not really French, it's more like Patwa (probably spelled incorrectly).
*summons a stereo to plays some blues* Actually Cajun and Creole are both technically French based since both are descended from French immigrants known as Acadians.

I saw an issue of it in the comic shop last I went but it was only a cursory glance, I couldn't tell you which issue it was unless you described the cover.

French is one part of it, yes but the Acadians were a seperate group from the other French in Canada at the time. That and the Acadians were deported to Louisiana before the Louisiana purchase IIRC. That's quite a while ago.

And Spider, I checked, the issue I saw was #0, so I woudn't know. I'm not up on releases, haven't been comic shopping much these days.
