Hayate frowned as the group made teir decision as to who should finish the job "Is that really it? So much for being a high ranking ninja"
Felina walked over to the others "Shes not so good really without anyone to back her up is she" she whispered to Oassu.
The figure of Takara suddenly disappeared into a puff of smoke, leaving a block of wood in her place. She scowled at the group "You may have beaten me this time. But someday we shall meet again and next time you won't be so lucky." At that she teleported away.
Satoshi grinned as the smoke began to clear up "Isn't that what they always say?"

Itaka sighed and flicked his sword, the flames around it dissipating as it turned back into Gaia blade. "Geez thats dull but fine lets just go" he sighed turning to face the cave "We shoulda just killed her off but now it looks like we have another enemy thats gonna be stalking us" he rolled his eyes.
Zadina shook his head "You don't need to make it a messy kill, thats why I prefer magic...the body stays mostly intact for most spells" he sighed before brightening up "Well now at least no one has to die"
Oassu smiled "For someone who called Taiki a weakling, she went down faster than he did"
Mari tutted "She ran away....hmmph she'll be sorry next time she shows up, a cowards fate is death"

Seph put her sword away and relaxed against the wall "That was kinda boring maybe we should have kept the other guys here. And shes hardly going to be a problem if we encounter her again" she reassured Itaka.
Alpha yawned and brushed himself off "Stupid cowards. But look on the bright side. That just leaves Kyato and that other ninja to take care of then we can go steal that cannon."
Hebal rolled her eyes and picked up the log that had been left behind "No offense Satoshi but ninjas seem to suck" she told her before tossing the log across the room.

Felina smiled and gave Oassu a hug "Taiki would have gone down quickly too if it weren't for all the other people there" she pointed out "But I suppose nobody being killed is a good thing and none of us are badly hurt"
Satoshi raised her eyebrow at Oassu "None taken. But I take it none of you sensed what I did. She was already very low on chakra when we arrived here" she inormed them walking over to where Takara had stood moments ago.
Hayate frowned "Are you trying to say she got beat up before we came?"
Satoshi nodded "It may have been a fiend encounter but whatever it was required a lot of chakra to take care of"

Itaka leaned beside Seph "I dunno I'd hope she'd focus on becoming stronger I'd like a challenge when she shows up again" he looked at Seph "I think you would too, pushovers are boring"
Oassu hugged Felina "So long as your foot is ok but seriously if Takari was low on chakra I'd think it'd be more than a fiend encounter...I'm suspecting a trap."
Mari smiled "Then we'll just have to charge through it then" she chirped
Zadina sighed "I wonder what happened to Kyato...hopefully he won't get to use the weapon..." he said nervously.

Seph smiled and noodded "I know, pushovers are boring. I was just saying from what I just experienced she doesnt seem all that good. And no doubt you would prefer a good sword fight" she added while looking over his blade.
Hebal grinned at Mari "That just leaves Kyato and that other ninja ahead so theres nothing to really worry about"
Alpha scratched his head taking into account Satoshi's information "If it were a fiend it would have to strong to reduce all her chakra. Do you think it could have been the dragon?"

Felina laughed and hugged Oassu back "Of course I am fine. If the injury was that serious I would have healed it up straight away silly" she reassured him.
Hayate shrugged "It could have been the dragon but theres no harm in preparing for the worst" he said bluntly while healing himself with a cura spell.
Satoshi went over to Zadina and patted him on the head "She did say Kyato was just up ahead but I don't think he would know how to use the weapon."

Itaka noticed Seph's look "Yeah Kunai don't hold up to my baby" he said patting the sword "The size just smashes them away then again Ninja's don't normally work outnumbered so maybe thats why she was so easy" Itaka frowned as something clicked in his head "In fact we never met any of her team" he said.
Oassu hugged Felina "I need to be faster can't have you getting hurt" he said happily "I worry about you too ya know" he said.
Mari nodded "Kyato...I'll return his head to the village once we're done with him" she said.
Zadina smiled "Your probably right Miss Satoshi but lets go see what it is anyway"

Seph glanced up at Itaka, his last statement grabbing her attention "You know I never thought about that.She thought back about their recent encounter for a moment "Do you think Taiki may have been a team mate?"
Alpha hesitated "I don't know about that. She didn't seem to speak too highly of him. What about that guy she asked to keep watch on Kyato?" he suggested.
Hebal sighed and walked over to the next door "Maybe we did encounter some of them but they were in the crowd but thats not really important. We may see them later"

Felina kissed Oassu on the cheek then let go of him "I'll be extra careful then. That way you wont have to worry about me so much." she replied with a wink.
Hayate rolled his eyes "Get a room you two" he told them as he walked past them and to the door.
Satoshi teleported into the next room and opened the door from the inside to allow the others entry. "I have to admit, these ninjas have been busy" she pointed to the long room they had just entered, which was lined with several rows of cannons all different shapes and sizes. "Take your pick Alpha"

Itaka thought about it "No....well maybe either way its not important she still might have someone ready to ambush us the third member of the team, it might have been the short guy but he shouldn't be a problem" he said picking up his sword and sheathing it again "After all every ninja before now hasn't been a problem" he said going to catch up with the others.
Oassu kissed Felina back and glared after Hayate before smiling at Felina "Thanks Felina, I bet Hayate's just wishing he had his somebody too"
Zadina frowned "I don't think these all work....otherwise they'd have been used to destroy Tanzaku town before now they must have a bigger cannon somewhere"
Mari looked at all the cannons "Strange technical wizardry" she muttered examining one and looking down it's barrel.

Seph sighed "I guess you and Hayate are right. We shouldn't get careless." she told Itaka and went over to examine one of the cannons "This one is in working order. But it's not powerful enough to do anything too destructive and poorly built. Not to mention the fuse is too long"
Alpha grinned and looked at the fuses "Theres only one way to find out if they all work" he chuckled forming a small fire in his hand. "Nah, I'm just kidding" he added putting the flame out.
Hebal frowned at the sight of the weapons and kept as far away from them as possible "Technology is scary thing. Weapons like these nearly destroyed my forest"

Hayate raised his eyebrow at Seph "Since when did you know about cannons?" He went over to the weapon she was looking at and glanced over it himself "I don't know much about how these work, but you're right. The fuse is too long"
Felina cast a glare at Alpha "You shouldn't joke about stuff like that" she scolded and turned back to Oassu "I kinda feel bad about that. He can't see his special someone because hes having to watch over me" she whispered.
Satoshi sighed "This village is even more pathetic than I thought making all these. Most villages just attack with jutsus and this sort of thing is seen as cowardly"

Itaka lifted one of the cannon barrels up "She probably learned a bit during her pirateing days, you can't be a proper pirate and not know the ins and outs of a cannon." he said dumping the cannon back down "This section has a bunch of cannon's that can't even take a cannonball" he tutted "Geez Captain Ahab would have a fit if he saw these." he muttered distastefully.
Mari sighed "These generally look silly tools" she muttered coming to one that had exploded at the front so the barrel was broken badly. "I don't think my village would need to fear these contraptions even if they did work"
Oassu hugged Felina "Hey we'll be stopping by your city sooner or later so Hayate will be with his partner soon"
Zadina examined tha cannons "I wonder how far behind the times these ninja are....other continents have had cannons for years, in fact cannons are a part of dwarf history and yet they are just discovering them"

Seph moved away from the cannon slightly disappointed "Maybe these are just experimental or practice ones" she sighed hoping this was the case. "But yeah I learned when pirating. It wasnt my job to look after them but the captain still taught me a few things"
"Ok no more jokes like that" Alpha apologised to Felina and stepped away from the cannon "If the rest of the weapons are like this then I am not going to bother stealing"
Hebal looked around and cautiously approached the cannon Zadina was by "Just because a place doesn't use cannons it doesn't mean they haven't had them around"
