Duellist Duellist raised an eye. "Really? I've been enjoying it a great deal... still, if you insist, I'll look into it." He checked through a few doors, all without moving from his seat. Finally, he pointed to a door down the small hallway. "It's in there. Her office, I mean." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I think the lift is broken, too... I might hypnotise a mechanic or something..." Its just that... It reminds me of how the animals grow insanely quiet before a storm or an earthquake. -She said, quietly making her way to the office.- I have not heard hammering at all tonight. It isn't normal. I do suppose you're right, though... I should relax a little and enjoy it while it lasts. - Mimi flicked on the lights only to find a rather immaculate office inside. Well, at least searching would be easy.- Are you sure you're alright though? I mean... if you need to talk, I'll listen. I may not have much experience in life but I do not mind lending out an ear.

I found some pictures in the site that make me think of Hakan---was that your basis? ))

I found some pictures in the site that make me think of Hakan---was that your basis? )) ][.. xd What else have you been doing? -Sarcasm.- Seriously? For the most part I modled the old Hakan after Gackt when he was younger. o.o; Maybe it's not Gackt that reminds you of Hakan, but Hakan who reminds you of Gackt?=0 Let me see none the less. ^^][

Duellist Bertram smiled a bit at Ikue, and took her hand. "Thanks, Ikue..." He looked like just being near the young woman was making him feel slightly better, and since the metaphorical worst had happened... he felt fairly confident he could handle anything else tonight. "Look, Ikue... about last night..." He stopped, and re-started. "Um... I... I like you. A lot..." Oh, brilliant thing to say, coming from the bruised boy. The medium looked up at the wraith, that frown turning into a small smile. She was still a bit sad, though, to see Bertram hurt like that. "Heh, and we've only known each other for like, what? Two days now? It's like we've known each other for a month or so.." The young girl chuckled softly. It made her blush, hearing Bertram say that he liked her a lot. "I like you a lot, too, Bertram.." Ikue didn't want to sound corney, but what else could she say? Ikue then took of her panda hat with her free hand, not really needing it on at the moment. She went silent, unsure of what else to say, but only smiled.

Duellist appeared behind her once more, in the same pose as he had been before. "I... thank you, Mimi..." he looked downwards. "I lost my temper... she... well, I don't need to talk about that. I just got angry over something involving the catacombs, and almost struck her..." he closed his eyes. "Bertram moved to save her, and..." he left the rest hanging.

Bertram looked thoughtful for a second, and then he leaned forward and kissed her, tilting his head sideways as he did so. "Thank you. Just for being here..." he stood up, tired. "I just need to find a place to stay today." He felt the healing balm working its magic. He knew it was working by the fact the pain went worse. "Um... I'll get out of your hair."

"I just need to find a place to stay today." He felt the healing balm working its magic. He knew it was working by the fact the pain went worse. "Um... I'll get out of your hair." Ikue blushed once again after Bertram had kissed her, and watched him stand up, saying that he needed to find a place to stay. She, too, stood up, her arm extending. Her hand took hold of Bertram's sleeve before he can go anywhere, an awkward look forming upon the girl's face. "Uh.."

At one point she had put the one Duellist and Midori had signed aside, it did not particularly bother her. The one in her hand, however, was a different issue. The girl lowered the contract, fingertips still holding onto it as her gaze lifted up to Duellist's form.- I apologize for my boldness, Duellist, but I do not think the problem is between you two.... You've been under a lot of stress, haven't you? -Duellist strike Taryn? It seemed unatural. She had seen how they simply adored one another. Something must have been bothering the vampire beneath the surface as to drive him to that point.-
