He gently lifted her eyes back to his, almost caressing her chin, "Nobody ever said you had to be good at dancing to enjoy it. No one said music was a must either." He held out his hand, "Shall we?"

:::Cora let out a soft little laugh. She still didn't look back up at him, a little flush, but put her other hand on his shoulder the way she remembered it and waited for Tac to lead...she was wondering if it would feel much different in her issued boots than in those high heals:::

Without music dancing wasn't the easiest of tasks, but Tac didn't care lead them around the obstacles of chairs and tables, slipping up every once in a while, but eventually he began to hum a tune to help at least set a rhythm, something of a ballroom dancing type tune that people always get stuck in their heads. Tac can't help but smile, at this point he had forgotten about Tavin completely, if he was still around, to hell with not being able to dance.

:::Once they got moving a little more smoothly she managed to look back up at his eyes. She found herself no longer thinking about where her feet were going and it almost helped make it easier. Now she was busy thinking of how lucky she was to feel this way, her heart was spilling over the brim with just a simple joy. She leaned into him as if it were more proof that she wasn't imagining it all:::

As they continued dancing, ensuring they were in a rathe rempty spot, Tac whispered in her ear ever so slightly, "When I begin to tilt you ever so slightly, bend one leg and let the other glide out and take your weight off it." He ensured that she had heard him and moments later he began to dip her. Hey, never said he didn't know at least something.

:::Cora managed to do just as Tac instructed, and soon found herself suspened mostly by his arms. She couldn't help but let out a giggle, the feeling of being upside now more real than it had been a moment ago:::

As she went down he followed slightly, and after a moment he pulled her back up, not without a slight bit of difficulty, and up close to him. When he pulled her back up to him their faces were rather close together, and he was staring directly into her eyes, trembling breaths, inhale and exhale, as he simply stared into her eyes...

:::Cora was still smiling when she came up, but she realized that they stopped moving. The corners of her lips fell back to their natural resting place and she wondered what they were waiting for, when she noticed that Tacitus was breathing strangely...and his heart was racing. She suddenly felt breath escape her, and she felt a flutter in her stomach. Everything was so still, time had finally completely stopped:::

With one arm supporting her torso the other craddled her head, not being forceful, merely supporting her. With one last look into her eyes he disregarded the fact that she might not understand, and leaned in to give her a tender, almost passionate kiss, but nothing over the top.

Her eyes closed and she returned the embrace. It was just the two of them, and everything she'd ever questioned made perfect sense...for just a moment:::

Tacitus Tac silently cursed himself, this was not exactly the path he had intended. He let out a brief sigh as he tried to muster a way to explain it, "I was...chased by some robots, but I easily evaded them and made proper assurances that they were shut down and decommissioned. The person behind it is not mentally stable, by my estimates. I've been planning to find him and take him into custody so he can get the proper help he deserves." He let out another sigh, this one was rather long, with an equally long inhale afterwards, looking into her eyes as he spoke, "Cora, I'd rather not talk about it any further. All that matters is that we're both ok right now. For now, we're safe, here, in the Brink." OoC: Lol, L-O-FREAKING-L. ROFL even. That's... quite the interesting way of expressing things Tac. >.< But as you well know, Ikibe is anything but mentally unstable, and I assume by help you mean a round between the eyes yes? xDDD
