Allen immediately recognized the tower, "That tower was depicted in the book." He muttered to himself. He reached down to put his hand over the spine, and left it there for a while.

Michael followed the others out of the cave and looked at the new city in front of him. "Well this is nothin like Hoenn. Interestin, very interestin" His pokemon were astonished at the size of the tower, and wondered how far that humans would go.

As they walked up to the tower, Maddy noticed the area was empty and quiet.
"I wonder if it's always like this..." She said aloud, peering up at the tower and it's many windows as they got closer and closer.
She could've swore she saw someone in an orange suit looking out of one of the windows, but that was probably just her paranoia.
After a few moments, they entered the tower. There was a large staircase before them, spiraling upward. Nobody was around, though.
"Hmmm... I guess he expects us to climb to the top..." Maddy muttered, heading up the stairs.
As she began the climb, though, she couldn't help but get this sinking feeling in her stomach.
She reached to her belt and pulled a Pokeball off of it, ready for anything.

Ace frowned at the spiral staircase. Judging from teh size they saw earlier, it's going to be a long step toward the top. "You got to be kidding me." She began to climb toward the stairs.

Misery looks around, also getting a bad feeling.
"(I can't believe we have to climb stairs... Do I look like I'm made for climbing stairs...)" She grumbles as they begin climbing the stairs.
"(My poor, fragile frame...)"

Allen sighed, "Can we just have pokemon fly us to the top." He whined more to himself than anyone else.

While Rose had ran on ahead, she stopped at the bottom of the stairs and waited for the others, to go up with them "Hello slowpokes." she said, chuckling.

Michael followed the group until they reached the stairs. "You have got to be kiddin' me. I hate stairs."

Rei reached into his belt and pulled out a Pokéball, following his captain's lead as he ascended the stairs.
"I wonder where everyone is... You'd think a place like this would be a tourist spot."

Eventually, they reached the top of the tower, leading into a wide open area that overlooked Shalour City and some of Kalos. Professor Sycamore was standing over near the edge, Lysandre standing by his side. He turned and flashed Team Aqua a weak smile as they approached.
"Hello, my friends. It's nice to see you all again." He greeted them, his hands clasped behind his back.
Maddy frowned, walking slightly ahead of the group. A gust of wind blew her hair out of her face, revealing her eye patch.
"Why is Lysandre with you?" She asked. "He's no friend of ours."
Lysandre stepped forward, putting himself between Sycamore and Maddy.
"Oh, he knows that." He spoke. "It doesn't seem he's really a friend of mine either. He never told me that he had learned the secret to Mega Evolution and was planning on meeting you all here."
Maddy's grip tightened around the Pokeball in her hand. The little device creaked, threatening to break and fall apart.
"I wonder why."
"P-Perhaps it's best if you all just leave." Sycamore began. "I have no need of you for my research anymore. Lysandre and his men will suffice."
He went to move forward, but Lysandre grabbed him by his coat and shoved him backwards. Sycamore was now frighteningly close to the edge of the tower.
"You know very well that we're not going to leave that easily, Lysandre." Maddy told the orange-haired man, glaring at him.
With a nod of his head, Lysandre had the whole group surrounded by Team Flare grunts.
"Allow my men to bind your group's hands. Any sudden movements and you can say good-bye to your Professor."
Lysandre lifted up his hand and his sleeve moved slightly, revealing a black wristband embedded with a multicolored marble of sorts.
"After all, I have no use for him anymore. I got what I came for."
Maddy glanced over her shoulder at her companions, trying not to take her eye off Lysandre.
"Just do as he says, guys."
"Leave the leader unbound." Lysandre commanded as his men approached to tie everyone's hands.

When Flare grunt tried to grab her, Rose darted aside and slapped him "Don't touch me, you a**." he tried to grab her again and she kicked him in the nuts "No one's laying their filthy hands on me"

Misery holds her hands out as a grunt ties her hands.
Hecter ties the Gardevoir's hands tightly, making she she wouldn't be able to hit them.
"Lysandre sir, what am I supposed to do about this Pokemon?" He turns to his leader.

Allen begrudgingly allows hand hands to be bound tightly. He stared into the grunts eyes with mass malice. By the time he was done, there were beads of sweat formed on the grunts head.

"Cowards, all of you," Ace managed to huff out as the grunts came towards her. They grabbed her arms, and tied them a bit roughly. "I swear, if you try to do anything funny to our boss and sycamore..." She muttered as she glared at Lysandre.
