Hollis started to walk over when she felt a pain in her stomach. A puddle if water had formed under her. She then realized her water broke. "nick..." she said holding her belly. She was expecting the baby as it was her ninth month.

nnick was to her in an instant, he led her to the bed then dashed to get towels and water.
" mara, go to the kitchen, down the stairs and straight through the lobby. get yourself an icecream..." he sad trying to keep her form seeing birth.

mara shrugged and left the room. She walked down to the kitchen and pulled a fudge bar from the freezer. Unwrapping it, she licked it at the table.
Hollis screamed as the contractions came closer. She wanted this over as fast as possible. "nick! Hurry!" she yelled.

nick was at her in an instant. he pulled her clothes off and begann to pull the head of their child from her
" keep pushing." he chanted coaching her on.

Hollis pushed as hard as she could, screaming. She was sweating by then, feeling feeling the baby leave her.

nick held the shrieking child as he washed it, wrapping it in a towel he handed it to her.
" layla." he whispered to her then kissed holly's forehead.pushing a piece of hair to the side of her face, and tucking it behind her ear.

Hollis smiled and kissed the beautiful baby's forehead. "promise me you won't go from 1 to 7 in an hour okay?" she chuckled rocking her baby girl in her arms gently. She smiled at nick and kissed his forehead, " I love you." she said happily.
mara walked in quietly, shutting the door behind her,"who's that? " she asked, walking next to the bed.

Thema hesitated at Hollis and Nicks door, "I don't want to be rude, but I really want to know how their doing." She murdered to no one in particular. Talking to herself was becoming a hobby now. "It's not like I have anything else to do." she knocked on the door cautiously.

Hollis stood up and handed layla to Nick, "diaper and clothe her, then put her in the bassenette.." she said, standing up. She picked mara up abs walked to the living room. She set her down and pulled put the couch out. " me and daddy need to get you a big bed, but now you get to sleep on the couch." she explained, putting a pillow and blanket on it. She lifted mara onto the bed and tucked her in. "g'nite my love!" she said kissing her forehead. She walked out and laid onto her bed.
"nite mommy!" mara called from the room. She was asleep in minutes.

Hollis yawned and laid on the bed. She kept her eyes Closed, "hi thema." she said resting on the bed.
