Gana felt a chooting pain all across his body and in every muscle as well. he was barely able to move without feeling pain of some kind. "heh, I did it, didnt I?" he said to Lee, wondering if he had done the technique correctly. before he could even answer he passed out from the immense pain through his whole body.
Lee ran over to Gana and lifted his head. "dont worry, you did the technique correctly." Lee said with a large grin on his face as he looked at the bruises that began to form on his body. "you will be able to handle the technique the more you do it, it wont hurt for too long, you will get the hang of it. and perhaps, one day surpass me even." Lee laughed out lightly as he began to walk away from Gana. "but good job for now, I am done training you."

This time the ground slowly became more solid until it back to normal. dEx and Shadow both stretched their freed legs.
"Give it a try." suggested Jiraiya as he looked back towards the bathhouse.
dex shook her head again. Then she focused carefully on her chakra. She performed the hand seals that he had just taught her.
"Swamp of the Underworld!" called out dEx as she finished the last seal.

She smiled as the ground below Jiraiya began to change. He suddenly looked away from the bathhouse to his feet. By then dEx had already trapped his legs in the swampy ground. He looked over at her and Shadow with a big smile on his face.
"You caught on quicker than I expected." said Jiraiya.
dEx ended the technique so that Jiriaya was standing on the ground normally again.

"I have another technique for you to learn today." said Jiraiya as he walked over to dEx giving her his full attention now.
She smiled and nodded to him. It was good to see that he knew that she was serious about the training.
"What kind of technique is it Jiraiya-sensei?" she asked.
"It is a defense skill called Underworld Guardian Spikes." he answered.
dEx nodded and thought about the name for a moment before concentrating on Jiriaya's explaination.

"This skill creates a protective shell with spikes using your hair." he explained.
Jiraiya proceeded to demonstrate the hand seals for her. Once she had learned them she nodded to him. Then he stepped back and motioned for her to attack him. dEx reached into her pouch and pulled out two small scrolls. Jiraiya watched her curiously as Shadow stepped back to give her room.

Then she placed the two scrolls down on their ends on either side of her. She performed a quick set of hand seals and then crossed her arms in front of her.
"Twin Rising Dragons!" she called out.
The two scrolls unfolded and began to shoot straight up in the air above her like two sleek dragons. Then she pushed hard off the ground and jumped up into the air near the top of the two towering swirling scrolls.

She began touching the symbols on the scrolls. Jiraiya suddenly saw a hail of weapons heading for him and he prepared his defense.
"Underworld Guardian Spikes!" he called out.
dEx watched as the weapons reached him and they all bounced away from him with out giving him a scratch. Then she could see that his white hair had grown long and spikey as it surrounded his body.

If this technique could stop all of those weapons then she figured it must be strong. She stopped her technique and landed on the ground in front of Jiraiya.
"Do you think that you're ready to try it now?" he asked.
dEx smiled and nodded to him. She focused carefully on her chakra as she began to form the handseals.
"Underworld Guardian Spikes!" she called out.
Jiraiya looked at her curiously as he noticed the skill acting a little bit differently with her.

Instead of her hair just growing out to protect her it seemed to be creating blue spikey fur all over her body. Jiraiya picked up some of the weapons that she had thrown at him before. He tossed several of them hard at her. The weapons were deflected by the fur as she smiled at him. Then the fur disappeared again. dEx smiled at Jiriaya as she wondered if she could teach Shadow a similiar technique for defense. Then she walked over to Jiraiya and bowed to him.
"Thank you for teaching me those technique." she said before she picked up her scrolls and began writing the names of the weapons inside causing them to disappear.

after a few hours of being passed out Gana awoke to see that Lee had left. "heh, I guess I learned all that he could teach me." he said to himself as he walked away from there, he wanted to learn more techniques before he had to go and didnt know where to go, but he knew he would have to go and train somewhere.

As dEx and Shadow left Jiraiya she saw Shikamaru and Chouji lying on the grass looking up at the sky. They looked pretty peaceful so she just waved as they kept going. As they walked a little futher along the path through a wooded area dEx saw Asuma searching for something.
"Good afternoon Asuma-sensei. What are you looking for?" she asked as she approached him.
Asuma looked at her with an annoyed expression on his face.
"Well, I'm trying to find Chouji and Shikamaru. They are supposed to be training with me right now." he replied as he continued looked around.

Then he looked at her again.
"You haven't seen them have you?" he asked.
dEx remembered how happy they seemed to be watching the clouds go by.
"No." she said as she shook her head.
Asuma sighed and sat down on a nearby tree stump.
"Trying to get those two to train can be like pulling teeth." he said.
dEx smiled and laughed out loud.
"I can't seem to train enough right now myself." she said.
Asuma looked up at her and smiled. Then he seemed to think for a moment.

"That's right. You're entering the Chuunin Exam aren't you? Well, would you mind letting me teach you a technique?" he asked as he stood up.
dEx could tell that he was hoping to get to teach somebody today so she nodded to him. He reached into his weapons pouch and tossed her a set of trench knives. She placed them over her fingers.
"I imagine that you are particulary strong in taijutsu" he said as dEx nodded in response with a smile.
He had figured since most of the Inuzukas that he knew specialized mostly in taijutsu.

"Good. The skill that I am going to show you is called Flying Swallow. Basically you focus your chakra into your hands through this knives creating an invisible extended blade of chakra. Your opponent may think that they are avoiding your attack when in actuality the blade is longer than it appears." explained Asuma.
dEx watched as he focused his chakra through his set of trench knives. Then she focused her chakra carefully into her hands. She practiced throwing the blades towards a tree and she could see that it was cutting the tree even though the actual knife wasn't touching it.
"Looks like you've got it." he said with a smile.

Gana realized that he couldnt find anyone to train with at this time so in frustratioin he walked off and back towards the docks. he was going to go and train with someone in mist village
