Malik isn't upset with Jiscal. he's upset with the chief of the purians. he offered them food, military training and protection. then he nad the chief had a little misunderstanding of a few statements, and now malik is going to arrange for a little something bad to happen to them.

What did you want to accomplish with the stack of pruposals you droped on Jiscal's lap? The man who has more or less a monopoly/control on all of Deep Water's trade is mulling them over.

and the papers Malik handed to jiscal were for trade supports from clothing, jewelery, armor, weapons, and other type things available. Mostly it's for financial support since Jiscal has all but dried up the slave trade. So you can do what you want with them, nad which ones he might accpet or not.
Not to mention, as part of agreements, there is basically a small term that denotes Malik as being privy to sales reports. thus, who sells what to whom. the context gives it the 'I want to know how much and what you sell to whom to tailor my shipments to better support your needs' but you know malik..he'll find a way to learn something from someone with that. even if it's a 'special' order that he offers certain buyers that has some magical trigger in there someplace.

I need to know one thing miss dawn, it affects what I may do to a certain female that has been in my keeping for sometime who is presently mindless and serves teh necromancer is thier...needs.
Does this lack of extraplanar via magic jumping affect extra planar communication? like, coudl malik have a conversation with someone from norrath through mystical means?
