brea was a little saddened by his story. how lonely it must have been to have to kill to survive (though being a vampire didn't relaly give her much room to talk) not having a chance to make any friends.
"wow..." she said softly "i promise never to hurt you." she smiled then laughed "unless you try to steal my cookies." she stuck her toungue out at him trying to lighten the mood some "just kidding."
"anyway." she thought "ummm.............were you in any wars?"

Resu did chuckle a little bit, she was trying t lighten the mood but this was Resu's life, he had come to terms with it all long ago. He felt no sadness, pain or anything really. "I was in a few wars within the temple itself. On the odd occasion the leaders would get into a fight over something and before long it spreads through the entire temple structure and we end up fighting one another. As for wars outside the temple... I was never involved directly. I am an assassin, I just killed who ever I had to and then left. I have started wars, ended wars and prolonged wars."

Samantha smiled, a rush of relief washing over her as Kashan spoke, knowing he was going to be there for her and the child on the way was just what she needed to hear. She lightly kissed his cheek before returning the slightly tighter hug.

Resu had to think for a moment. It was not a very interesting story that one. "It was quite simple. I was sent out to kill someone. I had reached a status so that I could go out alone without being watched by another who's job was to kill me if I tried to run or did not finish my job. So I killed my mark and then ran for it. After about a week I managed to reach these fine lands with the temples hunter teams on my tail. After asking around I heard about this place and ran right here. The hunter teams stopped at the border of the forest, not daring to enter and so I stayed here. Far to dangerous for me to leave without assistance. I killed the original hunter team out there but they just sent another and will keep sending more until I am either killed or returned."

brea looked up at him. " i will assist if you need it." she siad still smiling "belive it or not i know how to fight and i have certian traits that would make me very formiddable. so i will help if you need it."
she thought so more "uuh...um......hm.........i don'tknow what else to ask. i'm not very good at coming up with questions." she smiled sheepishly "OO whats your favorite kind of fod?"

Kashan just started to notice that they had been sitting here for quite sometime now. Perhaps they should move sometime if Kashan could actually be bothered to move.
Resu nodded, "I would appreciate the assistance. I have none here really. I have been offered sanctuary but no support. So I do appreciate this offer of yours." Resu said and he was being honest. The assistance would help him leave this manor on occasion but that was all. If he truly wanted to be free then he would need to find out why the temple wanted him back so badly and alive at that. He would also need to destroy the temple at some point to be totally free and be able to love without worrying about when they would get him.

The lightest of laughs escaped Samantha when she suddenly came to the realisation of how long they had just been sitting there. Pulling back ever so slightly from their embrace she looked Kashan in the eyes "We should probubly get moving or god knows how long we'll be here" she joked.

Resu nodded, he would tell no one what ever it was. It was part of his training after all. If his mistress had all her secrets exposed then he would have been killed long ago, besides, it was not his place to tell anyone anything really. "You can trust me. I will not tell anyone, it will not be mentioned outside of this room. What could be such a big deal that I would not accept anyway?" Said Resu. He was now wondering what it could possibly have been. What could someone want to keep secret that others would not look kindly upon or accept?
Kashan nodded, "Yes we really should get moving. You know what we are like. We have a nasty habit of just taking forever to do anything." Said Kashan, of course he had no idea what to do or where to go.

brea fidigeted then stood up and went across the room. her skin started glowing and a light that kind of looked like wings but not solid like one would think. she turned around to look at him. her fangs had legenthed and her eyes started to glow red "i..........i'm a...i'm half fairy.." she blushed a little...

Resu tilted his head to the side again, "Oh, so that explains the odd dim glow I was seeing." Said Resu who was now just happy to have one mystery solved. His slight attunement with the dark magic's employed by the temple did leave him sensitive to many things and his slight education into those magic's left him experiencing many things that he could not explain. "Your secret is safe with me. I must say I have never encountered one of your kind before. Don't know how to react beyond how I am reacting."

she smiled slightly. a little releaved. "oh thank god." she said with her hand over her heart. every time somone heard about her nature they eaither tried to kill her for her special blood. vampire fairy hybrids are rare and rarely ever survirived birth.
then they'd try to be her 'friend' to take try and take advantage of her.
or they'd try and capture her and harness her powers. she shivered involentaryily at the rememberance to all those who had.....
she sat back down "thank god.." she looked at him "your reaction is just fine...its much better than the ones i ususally get."

"How do people usually react to you being what you are? I mean, I don't really see why anyone would react differently to you because of what you are but then again I really do not know much about anything outside of what I was taught back there." Said Resu. He did not reach much to anything, he had seem some very odd things and yet hardly blinked at 90% of it. The skies could open up and start raining corpses and Resu would hardly bat an eye. He was not sure if that was normal or because of the amount of crap he had to put up with over the years.

Samantha smiled slightly and nodded unable to deny that they did have a tendancy to be a bit on the slow side when it came to being out and about. Standing up a her smile widened slightly "How about we go for a swim or another walk through the garden" she suggested not sure which idea she liked better
