"Hi Sammy. Hi Addie." Jack greeted, a look of seriousness on his face. His jaw was clenched tightly as were his fist. He did not like anyone from Magma.

Maddy sighed. "Sounds like Blaze and Jocasta will be useful here. Should be interesting to check out, nonetheless." With that, Maddy appeared up on the beach. She began to follow Shelly to the volcano.

Well, this certainly sounded a lot more serious that she thought anyone here cared to admit. Exploding volcanoes were never a good sign, especially if they were coupled with earthquakes and the whole shabang. This was her home, and she was willing to do whatever she needed to do to protect it. Even if it was from Team Magma and their magical exploding volcano trick.

Ike seemed set of figureing out what was going on himself, and she could only grin slightly as she listened to him lay down the law for the Magma Admin before them. So they were going to check this out after all. That was nice. However, as the woman said they should bring fire pokemon, her heart sunk once more. She always felt like she was the odd one out. The only slightly fire pokemon she had was Houndour...man, she needed to build her team. Looks like she needed to start doing missions again. There really was no rest for the weary if she wanted to get a team as strong as everyone else's. Following everyone to the teleporter and to the beach, she heard Sammy ask how people had been as she smiled at the girl.

"Oh, I've been alright. Just super busy. Yourself?"

When they arrived at the volcano, Shelly went closer to the rim of the volcano to try and figure out a way to remove the advice.

In the meantime, Maddy turned to the group of Aquans that had also ventured up the volcano. "Ok, well, we'll let her do whatever. You guys can go off and find some wild Pokémon. Fight 2-3, and you can catch 1 if you wish." With that, Maddy wandered off to explore the area, keeping an eye on Shelly.

Jack rode up on Blaze. "What are we doing?" He asked them, hopping of his Ponyta.

Maddy let Antigone out of her Pokéball, watching the beautiful Dragonair float around. Suddenly, there was a slight explosion from a nearby lava pool as an enraged Magmar burst out of it. "Wow, wasnt expecting that!"
Antigone rushed forward to protect her trainer, summoning an enormous wave of water to blast Magmar. Magmar was heavily weakened by the powerful blow, but mustered enough strength to punch Antigone hard with flaming fists. The blow did little damage against Antigone's smooth dragon scales.
"Might as well add to me collection." Maddy tossed an Aqua Ball at Magmar. The Pokémon was absorbed into the ball's clutches.
Shake...
Shake...
Shake...
... Ding!
Magmar was caught!
With a smirk, Maddy went to look for more opponents.

To be honest, she felt a little bad sending out one of her stronger pokemon to take care of such a small creature, but Wartortle had been out of action for a while, and if she was going to get something bigger, he was going to have to be in top form. Moving along, she passed a few slugma, though didn't deem those worthy of her time either. After all, she was much more interested in something like a Ponyta or Vulpix. And then...she saw it. Just ahead of her, napping in the sun, was an Arcanine. For a moment, she was simply shocked that she found something like this just laying around...but then she felt Wartortle's hand on her leg. She looked down at him, noting the resolution in his eyes. The pokemon was strong, but there was no way he would be able to win this fight by himself.

"Sorry Wartortle. I have to go with my gut. You'll get your chance, I promise," she said, giving the turtle pokemon a loving pat on the head before returning him to his pokeball. Instead, it was time for her to bring out the big guns. Pulling Dratini's pokeball from her belt, she stepped through the brush, releasing the pokemon in front of the Arcanine, who looked up at her from his nap with a questioning look on his face. He was almost looked at her like he was questioning she was really going to try and capture him. Little did the wild pokemon know, her determination bordered on crazy.

"Dratini, thunder wave," she called out, hoping to paralyze the pokemon early on to make it easier to battle. she had heard about Arcanines from other people, and knew that they were quick and powerful. With a cry, Dratini released a wave of lightning towards the large pokemon, who jumped off the rock he was laying on, effecitvely dodging the attack. Adie cursed softly under her breath as the pokemon landed in front of Dratini, looking like he meant business. Adie cursed softly under her breath as the powerful pokemon rushed forwards, clamping his teeth down around Dratini's tail as her pokemon tried to get out of the way. Dratini let out a cry of pain, whipping her powerful tail around to wrench it from the wild pokemon's grasp, twisting around in the air to bring the tail around again in a powerful, and effective, aqua tail attack. The Arcanine slid backwards on the ground digging his claws in to keep himself steady, though it was clear that the attack took a lot out of him. As a last resort, he suddenly launched forwards with Extreme Speed, aiming to give Dratini a good beating, however, her slender pokemon was more agile than the weakened attack. Her body coiled around the fire pokemon in a quick wrap attack, giving a powerful squeeze that sent the wild pokemon to the ground. This was her chance.

Pulling out an empty pokeball, Adie threw it at the pokemon. 1...2..........3, and the ball sat still on the ground. Jumping into the air and pumping her fist like a maniac, Aide ran forwardds and picked up her new pokemon, throwing her arms around Dratini in a tight hug. Dratini let out a loving squeak, nuzzling Adie with her nose before the blue haired Aquan released her, returning the pokemon back to her pokeball for a rest. It was definitely deserved. Turning, she started to head back towards the group to see what was going on with the volcano.

"Anything I can do to help," she asked, looking around as she wiped some sweat from her forehead. She forgot how warm it got up here. They were probably going to say that there was nothing she could do, but at least she could say that she offered. After all, no one could accuse Adie of not being a team player.
