Hah. The event starts an hour late, and 12 hours after THAT, NO ONE has any of the items yet because it's glitched. And they can't FIX it because the programmers are all unavailable. Because, you know...it's CHRISTMAS.
Whose brilliant idea was it to launch the event ON Christmas?! rolleyes

I've got half the items so far, and I dare say, they don't suck like the Halloween ones did. The boots and peacoat are rather cute.
