It didn't feel right yet, he wouldn't stop till he had mastered the technique. He wanted to be able to be so comfortable with it that it was like tieing his shoes, which he was very profecient at off course. If you only saw him do a magic knot you'd know, because double knots are for losers and are totally uncool. Wait a second, there were no knots on his sandles at all. Gin kept grinding the technique till he hit the point in time that he felt it was perfect.

Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique)
This is a genjutsu that reveals the fears that dwell inside people's hearts. Everyone has an image of the one thing they wouldn't want to ever see. This genjutsu is a technique that draws forth such an image from within the heart and has one mistake it for reality. First, an imaginary circle of leaves will spin around and envelop the target, falling away shortly after. After a short period, the illusion will begin. This is to make the illusion more convincing, since the user will likely have moved before the illusion sets in. If the mental image is a gruesome one, the shock will be accordingly great.

Gin looked down, this next move looked considerably harder than the previous thing. It was a genjutsu, his very first genjutsu and it would require large amounts of chakra control and more genjutsu than the genjutsu release that he had just learned. The scroll said it was a rather basic genjutsu but he had no experience in the field of genjutsu. This move was called Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu. It shows the target what they most fear, a rather straight forward genjutsu.

He knew he would have to have complete focus and control of his chakra to be able to do this jutsu. Of course he wouldn't be able to do it right away but he wanted to make his chakra very perfect before he even continued, so he decided to meditate to it. Anyone who knows taichi or ever read up on meditating knows that it's the complete focus on specific topic and that was his chakra control. He sat down and crossed his legs and formed a handsign that he learned back in the academy, closing his eyes he tried to clear his mind.

This wasn't to easy, he was rather new to the whole meditating process that was required of complete focus. Of course he would have to get better at it than this, which was why he had to meditate with his eyes closed and legs crossed. In a real battle of course he wouldn't have time to do this, he would have to be able to do it with his eyes closed and sometimes even in midair. A genjutsu had to be very subtle too, but with complete control. He decided he would go back to how he did genjutsu release, by stopping his chakra flow. With this he would be able to figure out what a genjutsu did since he knew what stopped them.

So in order to create a jutsu he knew he had to disrupt their chakra to their brain because in order to stop it, he had to cut his chakra off. So with this he was able to meditate to that concept. Of course he did do any of those humming noises, that was actually what people meditated too, he couldn't focus on that and was meditating to the concept of genjutsu. He might have looked weird, a 9 year old sitting there without any parents making him do it while he sat in the middle of an academy room that consisted of most of the scrolls and books, a supply room.

He breathed in deeply as he contemplated, trying to focus his own chakra to disrupt his chakra but not to give him any tramatizing images, if anything he was trying to give himself images of good things incase he was successful. His headband cold on his forehead, a clear reminder to all and himself that he was now a full fledged shinobi of mist village. He wasn't no monkey from konoha in the trees, the sunagakure ninja were more like assassins like in assassins creed, who ever heard of rock ninja, and don't even try to think that lightning has anything to do with ninjas.

Disrupting and cutting off chakra were two completely different thing, heck genjutsu release was a ninjutsu actually. It took him a long time to figure out how to cut off his chakra to stop a genjutsu, atleast to his brain, now he would have to figure out something completely different. Disrupt, how would he be able to do that anyway? He was at the time worrying about the chakra control that was required, trying to get complete focus through meditating so that the outside world was blocked off so he could be able to do it. Of course that was only the first step to get used to it, he'd want to train aswell to be able to do it without taking so much time and effort to regain control.

This first part however was going to be much harder, to gain the control needed to do such a thing. He was slightly better at genjutsu than he was at chakra control and the fact of the matter was that this specific skill required more control than it did genjutsu. Of course aswell, genjutsu and chakra control were a much harder thing to get better at than shuriken training for him. He closed his eyes and imagined his chakra flowing in him, imagining what he would essentially have to do to the opponent but for now he wanted to do level 1 before moving on the the boss fight.

Gin felt that it was pretty quiet in the academy, not that he cared, he was able to meditate in peace. But still, where was everyone anyway? It just helped him concentrate without all the excessive academy students barking up their own horns. He still had much more meditation to do before he was able to effectively use it.

He had to break the flow of chakra, he needed that high level of chakra control so he needed absolute focus and he wouldn't lose it. His eyes closed, his legs crossed, sitting on the ground, with his hands placed on his lap. To control chakra was a difficult thing, genjutsu wasn't for such rubble that you see running around the academy. You need high intelligence to be able to pull it off, and tons of training to make it worse.

He yawned, but didn't even notice it. That was the level of concentration that he had, he practiced by doing the genjutsu release in his mind over and over. The flow of chakra instead of being cut off, had to be disrupted. It was like gettng out of your baby diapers and then putting on your male adult diapers that you see on old folks. It was lightyears beyond what he had previously done even in his difficult last training to learn genjutsu release.

Of course he was better at genjutsu than chakra control as said before, so this was not what he was excited for. He knew that if he could deal with this first part of gaining the control, he'd be able to rapid fire the genjutsu over and over like no tommorrow. He studied to inner depths of his mind, that's where it would focus, disrupting chakra to the mind.

The mind could make you feel things, smell things, and all the rest of the 5 senses. He wondered if there was possibly any other genin out there right now who was training as hard as he was as we speak. He was getting slightly irritated actually with how long it took to get the specific chakra control needed to disrupt his chakra, which kinda set him back but he knew that it wouldn't be much longer now before he would be able to learn it.

He licked his lips in anticipation as he placed his hands back up into the handsign that he had before he placed his hands on his lap. He would be able to focus this way, it was what he was used too. He had drilled the handsigns and he felt comfortable with them, also it made it easier to focus your chakra when you were holding such a stance anyway so it was a double win. He felt his chakra sharpen and his chakra control start to set in.

Sharpening and becoming more concentrated, he knew he was getting closer to his goal of the jutsu. Of course he wasn't even halfway there. He felt he would have a much easier time with part two of learning the jutsu whih was actually using the jutsu than he was currently with his crazy attempts to buid up the chakra control. To do this jutsu, his first genjutsu he would ever learn, he would have to shift the chakra flow so it wouldn't function right.

Gin stood up, he felt he had the chakra control down but it woul't be helpful if it took an hour to set it up. He would have to be able to do it on a whim of course, so he stood up and prepared to work his magic. He had already hit that point and remembered how it felt, the perfect amount of control atleast for this genjutsu; enough that it would be able to handle this extremily basic genjutsu at the least.

He closed his eyes though for the time being, he wanted to be able to effectively think his way through it but it was still a step in the right direction. He didn't have to completely meditate to the thought. He was able to build up the chakra that needed effectively, the next step was to do it without his eyes closed. This of course was more difficult than one would think, there were the many distractions of the real world out there.

If one really payed attention, they would realize in how many directions your mind wonders. If one would to meditate you would even be able to realize exactly where are tensed up, like in your eyebrows or jaw. This was a new level of difficult yet again, he almost wanted to close his eyes. It was very frustrating but he wanted to be able to use it without having to close his eyes, if he had to close his eyes he would be left open to an attack. So of course this was required if this genjutsu would be able to prove effecive in the least bit.

He concentrated harder, tensing up his forehead as if he was in pain but it was really from overexerting himself. Maybe that was the reason that he wasn't able to effectively use the technique last time around. He made the handsign to help him out as he stood there, eyes open and tried. He soon noticed that he was tense though and closed his eyes to loosen up and then took a deep breath before placing his hands together, trying to get the chakra control needed for the next step.

Pathetic, that's all he could think of. Why wasn't he able to do this, what was the reason that he was tortured so. He didn't even realize how distracted he was with his eyes opened, his mind was wandering in many different direction sthat it was obvious why he was failing. He had done sitting donw and meditating, then moved on to standing but eyes still closed. He had no experienced that it was that much hader with your eyes opened but he did not stop, he kept trying.

(( I'm ungodly lucky, I get the same exact number and I only need one more D: ))

Gin tried and tried, he wouldn't stop trying. He was arrogant and extremily stubborn, both of which he used to his advantage of course. He attempted to clear his mind of all thoughts, he wasn't stupid so he was abe to catch onto what the problem truely was. The problem was, the effort does not always mean the result. One is not always successful jsut becuase they try, clearing your mind of all things while you can see the outside world is not a task to look down upon.

Gin was starting to get pissed, sure he wasn't done with the jutsu and wouldn't for a bit but the hadest part was this and he was gettinr really frustrated with the results he was getting or lack there of. He decided to go back to closing his eyes so he could get a feeling of what he needed to do, doing it a few times. Then he reopened his eyes, trying to match that level of chakra control so he could actually learn how to do the jutsu with eyes open. That was the end goal, it without his eyes open was useless so he wouldn't learn it till then.

Now with the hardest part of the the way he was able to actually get into the jutsu and soon would be able to grind it over and over till he got it perfect. He had the chakra control needed, now he just needed to be able to effectively use the chakra control to do it. This wasn't going to be easy but it was going to be easier.

He looked down at his hands and grinned, forming the handsign and practing the genjutsu on himself without the negative effects since he was just practing disrupting the chakra and not to do a specific horrible genjutsu to himself. After he learned this jutsu he would put down genjutsu for awhile, of course using it for fights but would put harder genjutsu training on wait.

He closed his eyes and imagined his chakra system in his body, how it flowed as if in real time. He had imagined it so many times as it was in the picture and trained so hard recently in it that he almost felt like he could see the chakra flow inside himself much like a Hyuuga. Of course this was total horse s**t, but wasn't that what genjutsu did.

It made you see stuff that aren't actually as you think. But that was just a random funny occurance, he wasn't under a genjutsu or anything. He had to disrupt his chakra, even if not to force scary thoughts into his own brain, that would be stupid. He with the image of his chakra system which was pretty accurate in his head knew where and how he had to disrupt the chakra from his genjutsu release training.

He had to make it so chakra would be disrupted in the brain, like any basic genjutsu. He had to manipulate the flow of chakra in his brain, the brain controlled the body and gave it commands. Pain receptors go up to the brain and then return in pain, the eyes relay things to the brain, and so on. These were all facts that he fully understood through his recent studies of the human body and genjutsu. He would use all of it if he was ever to hope to be a profecient genjutsu shinobi.

Closing his eyes he attempted his first try, trying to manipulate the chakra so he could disrupt his 5 senses like the common knowledge that all people who knew what genjutsu was were are of. But just because you understood it, doesn't mean you can effectively do it. Can a 7 year old kid hit competitively with federer just because he can comprehend what the opponent was doing across from the pro? Could a person shoot a target with a bow just because they know that's their goal?

Manipulating was something he was good at, just not so much at chakra right now. He had to wonder how he would be able to translate the act of manipulating chakra into making them see what they most fear. Just because you could do the earlier doesn't mean the latter occurs instantanously, but he was still on part one of that. He would be happy with that, he attempted to manipulate the chakra not to create fear in him but to get a certain experience with doing it so he could when needed use this to inspire fear from nothing.

This was obviously a little easier than he thought too, the harder part was actually changing that into something that one could fear. That would come through trial and error, but yet again he wouldn't force his way into his own brain with a genjutsu. He just wanted to test the waters so when he needed it he could do it. He used himself as a lab rat, which wasn't the safest thing to do but it was the only thing he could at the moment. He wasn't looking to throw away any of his chakra at the moment.

He felt more comfortable with manipulating the chakra, but it wasn't neccessarily easy to him. He wanted to make it as easy as it is to brush your teeth. The only problem was that brushing your teeth is a boring and repetitive thing so that might not be the best example for what he was thinking of. The flow of chakra flowed through him right now like it did to anyone. Then suddenly it started to change, he was able to slightly manipulate it.

8/10

He was almost done, this step like he predicted was a snap. Actually it was a little easier than he had expected, it was like racing a biker with a jet airplane, it was just that much of a rape that you could compare the two and wouldn't be laughed at. He focused harder, his chakra being further manipulated, he wanted to make sure he had full control over it so he could feel how it felt.

With that he would be able to comfortably use it against his future enemies who would want him dead or fellow allies. He knew he would have to compete and he would very much rather be on top of those than be the chump change. He was arrogant and stubborn, these words couldn't be said enough to describe him. He saw himself as a superior boy to all his age, and he saw girls as simple objects to entertain himself. What a perverted little 9 year old. He manipulated it one more time hoping that he would now have mastery over this jutsu.

It just didn't feel right just yet, with that last attempt to manipulate his chakra it didn't feel comfortable enough. He wanted to be able to use this whenever he wanted with no difficulty, the effectiveness of a shinobi was judged with how they handled the jutsu that were provided to them. Be this taijutsu, genjutsu, fuuin jutsu, or ninjutsu. He focused all his chakra control into a few more, rapid firing it to see if it felt any more comfortable.

"Hmm.." he mumbled to himself as he walked the halls of the academy, "Now that I've gotten a real good look at myself, I need to figure out a way to take this thinking into practice." he turned left into his usual classroom. "I would say that the theoretical way of performing a Bunshin no jutsu, is to have a clear image of yourself, then you draw out a controlled amount of chakra, out from your body and into the open. Then you mold that chakra into a mirrored image of yourself.. Could it be so? "

"What else could it be? Hmm, hmm, hmmmm..." he took a seat at a desk and put his feet up on the table, relaxing with his hands behind his head - supporting the neck. "I.. I am not sure I know the handseals.." he quickly shot himself off the desk and rushed through the hallway once again, towards the library where most of the jutsu scrolls were. He searched quickly through the many papper sheets to eventually find the bunshin. "Okay.." he took some time to memorize the seals.

"Okay! I feels as I've almost finished the mental preperation. Just need to know a couple more stuff" he closed the scroll that contain information about the Bunshin no jutsu and switched his focus to chakra control guides. This jutsu demanded extreme effort on the chakra control side, since you not only need to create a bunshin, it needs to be controlled and remained with the exact same chakra flow throughout it's existence.

He found a book that contained tips on how to be calm. It teached that if you want to control a situation, any situation, you need to be in a calm state. ".. even though a challenge might be hard, it would only become more of a challenge if one's mind isn't at ease." Keiko tried to adapt this sentance into as many scenario's he could think of before moving on in the book. He felt that an advice, could have a more of an impact, if you tried to relate to it as much as possible. After taking some time to figure out what the sentance meant, he closed the book and grabbed another, the secound the last page of the book landed among the others.
