Haruko blinks a couple of times and his face begins to color again, though perhaps not due to his blood replenishing itself but more a realisation of his actions. He doesn't apologise, though. "No, I'll be fine... im perhaps a little disorientated from loss of blood but im sure I can manage."

"Well, I'll take your word for it. But if you faint, I'm gonna flip out." she grinned. "You sure you feel okay, though?" she inquired, still grinning. "A mortal wouldn'tve made it through that."

Haruko shrugs, "I'm not a mortal, though, am I. My blood is already regenerating... though not as fast as I had expected." He sits himself down. "Do you feel better, now?"

"Yes. And no." she answers. "You really shouldn'tve. And no, I cannot live without killing.." she said darkly.

"but... dont yo see? I wanted to... I wanted to give a part of me, to you... and... killing is distastefull, but often necacary..." he looks contemplative for a moment, "ah, my head's clearing a little now... I am quite surprised, still, that I kissed you..."

"Yes, I did see that, you were relentless." Echo leans up against a tree. "At least you didn't apologize. I still do not know whether it was the blood-loss or you acting of your own accord. Perhaps both."

"It was me, I can assure you that... but perhaps my inhibitions were removed somewhat by the loss of blood... and I did not apologise because you did not resist" and he smiles a little, his lips and face once again a normal color.

"Well, then, if you go by that logic, I don't think you will ever need to apologize. I don't resist many things." Echo looks over at Horuko, "Distasteful is a nice way to put it, killing."

Haruko continues to smile, but it seems more hollow now. "Then perhaps I should apologise... I rather hoped you didn't resist because you wanted me to kiss you, rather than you simply didn't care."

"You're thinking about what I said too much." Echo shook her head slowly. "If I hadn'tve wanted you to kiss me, I would have resisted you."

Haruko shrugs, "Then, perhaps, I should ask you more formally, if you would like to 'date' me." He laughs a little at himself, "And who would have thought I'd be asking a question like this two hundred years ago."

"Yes, I would like to 'date' you." she laughs softly. "Two hundred years ago? I despise two hundred years ago." She grins in an amused sort of way.

"I... I have a lot to be proud off from that period, and much more to be ashamed of... But it was then that really made me what I am today, though some credit goes to the modern world. I have changed quite a lot in the weeks since I have come to New York."

"Noticably so. And, I'm not as horrible as I was before I met you." Echo tries not to laugh, "New York should thank you for coming here. If you had not, they'd have a psyco Echo on they're hands. And that's never good."
