Care to fill me in on what's happened?][ (( speak of the devil. e.e Umm.. letsee.. -thinks- not much... Kinpoko's back-- the explosion of the spaceship scared Mimi a little.. she thought it was something else. xd The doors aren't fixed yet and she finds that weird so she went to Midori's to find some 'research' on what's to be done to fix the stupid doors... and stuff. Got 'attacked' by a ghoul on the way there who actually was to call her. Taryn and Duellist got into some domestic violence....and Duellist is in the dog house due to that. Bertram got hurt in the process and is now seeking Ikue's soft shoulder to lean on. xd ))

Bertram gingerly rubbed his eyes. "I...um..." He looked uncomfortable, and gingerly stepped inside, sitting down on one of the couches miserably. "I got in the middle of a fight between the Master and Mistress..." He touched the eye, and winced. "It's not as bad as it looks..."

Duellist opened and shut his mouth, repeatedly. Then he shook his head. "Nothing... nothing's wrong. Me and Taryn just had... a disagreement, that... that's all..." Resuming a business like demeanour, he looked at Mimi. "Sorry I scared you... now what's the problem?"
Only the glint of tears in his eyes betrayed an inner agitation.

With Kinpoko's task done, she could finally get some well deserved rest. She hadn't slept in a while, due to all of what happened to her during her trip back. Being shot at, killing one of her own people, finding out she was banished, stealing a tower, and her ship being damaged heavily for stealing said tower. It had been a long few days for Kinpoko. And with that, she slowly makes her way over to her lavish bed. She flops down on it, and closes her eyes, waiting for sleep to come to her.
((Boo. I'm really tired... x.x Plus a Headache of DOOM! So, I'm out. Night, y'all! -sounds like some country bumpkin.- .... ))

At least for his sake.- The doors at the hotel are broken again....and they haven't been fixed. -Mimi sighed, stepping away from the door eyes glancing about the place. Where was Midori's office?- Normally I wouldn't have worried about it but they've been broken for almost a full day now. For some strange reason the spirits haven't bothered to do so. In fact... -The girl paused, choosing her words carefully.- I find it extremely strange. The past few days have been really, really quiet Duellist. I know it sounds stupid but I don't trust this sudden lull.

After Bertram had entered her room, the girl closed the door behind her, a worried look on her face. Ikue searched around for her First Aid kit, looking through her drawers. Finding it, she made her way over to Bertie and sat down beside him, observing the bruise. Ikue wasn't sure if this would work on Bertram, but she took out a small tube of healing ointment, gently rubbing some of over the bruise. Oh how nice it would be to have Cherry's healing abilities. She frowned slightly, letting out a small sigh. "Ah.. try not to touch it." That was all she can really say, and she didn't know what to say about the fight, and asking about it would probably make Bertram feel more miserable.

Duellist raised an eye. "Really? I've been enjoying it a great deal... still, if you insist, I'll look into it." He checked through a few doors, all without moving from his seat. Finally, he pointed to a door down the small hallway. "It's in there. Her office, I mean." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I think the lift is broken, too... I might hypnotise a mechanic or something..."

Bertram smiled a bit at Ikue, and took her hand. "Thanks, Ikue..." He looked like just being near the young woman was making him feel slightly better, and since the metaphorical worst had happened... he felt fairly confident he could handle anything else tonight. "Look, Ikue... about last night..."
He stopped, and re-started. "Um... I... I like you. A lot..." Oh, brilliant thing to say, coming from the bruised boy.
