Rei almost fell down from the sudden spinning sensation that was teleporting. He caught himself and shook his head.

"I'll never get used to that." He looked around.

"Ah, the Reflection Cave. What an interesting place." The Countess flew out from his hood and immediately began scoping the area out, using her ultrasonic waves.

"Ah, what a pain. Guess there's no helping it." Ace frowned before following Maddy and the rest of the group through the cave. She crossed her arms from the cold air from the caves.

They were approaching the exit of the cave. She turned to her companions.
"I guess we can give you guys a few minutes to catch a Pokemon here, if you want." She said, leaning up against a nearby wall.
"I'm not interested in anything, personally."

[Reserve your post if you want to catch a Pokemon. Otherwise, just chill. Lol.]

Should she get a pokemon? Nah, Ace is just going to stand around awkwardly and wait for the others to finish because of magevn's profound laziness.

Rei crouched down and examined the glittering walls. He turned to his Zubat, who was busy mapping out the cave.

"Say, Countess, why do you suppose there's all sorts of interesting stones here?" he asked, recalling Geosenge Town's towering rocks and Glittering Cave's plethora of rare and beautiful gems. He gathered a few samples to study later. As he reached out for the last gem, a dark hand grabbed him by the wrist. Surprised, he pulled back quickly. A Sableye leaped out from the wall and stared at his bag, where he placed his samples. It made a move as if to grab it, causing Rei to constantly jump out of the mischievous Pokémon's grasp.

"What a troublesome Pokémon. Countess, get rid of this fool. Confuse Ray." She promptly confronted the Sableye, shooting her ray right at the Sableye's jeweled eyes. It blinked, then swiped out against the Zubat, but clawed the mirrored reflection of her instead, smashing its hand against the odd surface. The Zubat took quick advantage of the confused Sableye, sinking her fangs deep in its arm and injecting a lethal dose of poison. The Sableye, still confused, wildly lashed out in response to the wave of pain. By sheer luck, its claw made contact with the Zubat, throwing the bat to the ground. Rei sighed. She couldn't be lucky all the time.

"Countess, just dodge its attacks for now; the poison will finish it. Confuse it every so often to make sure it doesn't get a clear hit on you." As he watched the Sableye, a thought arose.

Well, Sableye loves gems, and Kalos seems to be full of the stuff. Perhaps if I caught and trained this Sableye, it could be useful for finding Mega Stones and whatnot. With that in mind, he waited until the Sableye exhausted itself, and tossed a Pokéball. It shook thrice and promptly clicked shut.

Rei grinned. "That wasn't too difficult." He gathered his things and regrouped with his team.

Once everybody was finished, Maddy lead them out of the cave. They stepped out into the light and were greeted by Shalour City and a massive tower.
Maddy whistled, shielding her eyes as she looked up at the tower.
"That's where Sycamore wants to meet us," she said, starting towards the building. "I wonder what we're going to find here."
She took out her TADS to send the professor a message, telling him that Aqua was almost there.

Ace peered over the city, glancing at the long tower and the city. Ace then crossed her arms a bit, "Dunno, but whatever we'll find, it better be worth it," She responded.

Rei shrugged. "Who knows. I'm more interested in how it was made." He followed his team to the tower, noting its many windows and relative location to the rest of the city.

"I wonder if it would make a good fortress."
