The outsider (Modern / Forest)

[Duchess Marie]

Clover got the children and went to Salina's room. On the way, she text Kyle and Madison.

Madison picked up her beeping phone to read the message. She looked at KS, "there is going to be a fireworks show on the beach. Everyone is meeting to see it."

Kire went and had a set-up at another fire pit on the beach for the family.

Clover, Kaelyn, Rain and Snow walked out onto the beach to meet up with Kire. Madison was directly behind them. They settled down around the pit to wait for the begining of the show.

Soon Kyle, Malcome, Shank, Uzi, Salina and KS joined them at the pit.

Kaelyn and Rain chased each other in the sand and invited Malcome and Uzi to join in on their game.

Madison was still wierded out by the vision and she was keeping close to KS. She had tried to put it out of her mind, but she had spent much of the afternoon looking up recent seismic activity on the planet.

Malcome and Uzi did join in their game more they were now more open with them.

Kyle was concerned that Madison was turning back to her old overly cautious self.

KS held Madison close.

The girls laughed and played until the first shot from the show caused them to yelp in surprise. "What a pretty fire," commented Kaelyn. "How do they get it in the sky like that?"

Uzi cheered at the fireworks. "Now that is awesome!"  

[Duchess Marie]

Kaelyn smiled, "you like any fire thing, huh? Maybe there could be a firework fight and that would be your two favorite things together!"

"That...has gotta be the best thing I've ever heard!"  

[Duchess Marie]

Kaelyn smiled that Uzi was happy. She liked that he liked her idea.

Meanwhile Kyle went up to Madison. "Twin sis, are you all right?"  

[Duchess Marie]

Madison kept her voice down when she answered, "I do not like being able to see the future sometimes. I looked into this earth-opening-up thing and really could not find out anything helpful. There does not seem to be a way to stop it."

"Well remember that we were told you would see one of many possible futures. WHat you saw might not happen."  

[Duchess Marie]

Madison nodded, "I know, but I feel like I should do my best to prevent anything bad from happening. People will get hurt if I do not do what I can. It is my responsibility to use my gift for this."
