I suppose they are hoping you can handle spelling the majority of the words you use by this point. However, I feel they fail to take into account that spell check and word processors have made us all lazy in that department sweatdrop

Re-using your characters is a sad thing. I'll never use Malice again. The reason for this is it keeps my creativity active. Using the same character multiple times gets people into ruts and they get bored with the character and/or rp sooner too. A lot of the time, the characters don't seem to fit into the rp. I've noticed a good number of characters on the front page that looked liked they came from somewhere else and were jigsawed into the rp by changing a few things. Re-using characters also makes people more if not overly attached to their characters. If their character should die or take a beat to keep with realism or storyline, they are less likely to abide by it. A lot of character profiles are filled out to the excessive due to their extensive back stories created in other rp's and stories. Besides page stretching and making it longer to get through the profile to okay it, there isn't anything wrong with that alone, but there tends to be lengthy abilities built up over the different rp's as well as the creator tries to perfect their character. It results in a bunch of overpowered characters with dark and sad pasts....
Of course, all the above mentioned are in extreme or varying situations, but they are reasons not to re-use characters unless the character is perfect for the role with zero tweaking involved.

Meh i might use the same name from time to time but i don’t use to same character, Kimi was made up just for this RP and i have to say love how she is e.e Happy, annoying, go lucky, loud and a thief to sum it all up cool nice
