He had fallen into a quiet and peaceful slumber, practically having passed out, he felt completely at peace.. completely disconnected from the world around him. That is, before a rather large amount of water splashed against his face, causing his eyes to widen quickly, he lifted his head up in almost a state of worry as he looked around, breathing quite quickly for a few seconds, before finding a small, young child with a rather mischievous smile spread over her face, sitting on his lap.
He said nothing for a few moments, but just looked to the girl with an expression of curiosity over his face, a look which couldn't quite tell what he was thinking.. just then he heard a familiar voice, and a soft laugh he hadn't heard in so long. He looked up to the woman who stood at the edge of the rocks, just across from him, a smile slowly coming over his face to meet her own. It had indeed been awhile.. Seth had been gone for quite awhile.. Celeste, too, had been gone for quite some time.
She hadn't changed much, aside from the tatoo just under her right breast, which actually seemed to be quite attractive. She was still the pale, beautiful Celeste he had befriended long ago.
"Celeste.. it has been a long time.. too long" he said with a smile. He seemed to be so caught up in finaly seeing her once more that he seemed to have forgotten the girl in his lap, along with the last part she mentioned. "Wait-- daughter?" he asked as he looked down to the little girl, who looked no older than five or six, and smiled gently at her. "Wow.. Celeste, she's adorable.." he said in a soft voice as he looked into the little girl's eyes, silent for a few moments. "Does the little lady have a name?" he asked the little girl as he tilted his head to the side slightly.

Coletta moved away from her brother slightly, waving acknolegdment (spelling??) to Hideki, watching as he made his way to the boy's changeroom, and Etty to the courtyard. Her and her brother stood in silence for a time before Matt spoke up, a smug grin swept his face, making him look more of an arrogant jerk then ever. "So ma soeur, you and Hideki sont maintenant les amis?" He let his grin leave his face, but a slight smirk whispered around his facial area. "I see my anti-social Coletta has decided to become a social butterfly, a large change indeed, though knowing you it is probably something else intirely. An advantage in this new school? naw, he's new here aswell, some advantage for you though, if past events are to be trusted."
Cole stiffend. She may be using Hideki to get used to touching and smiling and being happy, but she did value him. It was a simple case of her using him and then throwing him away, it couldn't be! Coletta cursed her brother for making her question herself again and sent a glare his way, astonished to find his mouth twisted in an ugly line.
Matt took his sister by the hand and cautiosly transported Etty's compass to his hank through a chucnk of ice. "This is Etty's, apparently her grandmother gave it to her or some such thing. She doesn't believe me that it's custom made, what can you tell me about it?"
Cole, her anger vanishing, took the beautiful thing into her petite hands, running regularily manicured fingers over it. "I'd say this was custom made for a very fine price. Not simply is everything real rather then a paint job, but even such simple designs take skill. And this one took a lot. The only flaw readily available to sight is this scratch here." Cole fingered a nearly invisible slice of lighter color then the rest. Matt raised his eyebrows in amazement, he had never thought of it as a scratch, had not even noticed it. But his speculation ended sooner then he hoped because his younger sister continued in her slightly hesitant voice filled with awe.
"In actuality, I judge this to be made after the jeweler sold it, probably in the shipment or a small drop. It is very impressive work." At that moment Etty came out and decided to sit down on the edges of the springs. Cole got out of the water, her lower body dripping from the water, though in a way less exotic then the way the water had looked running down her brother's skin, and stood over Etty, throwing the compass in her lap.
"It's quite amazing work. Very expensive it would have been, even though it's a rather simple design, there is no flaw other than a light scratch, which was probably made after the piece had been completed. You should be very proud of it."

Celestial grinned at Seth, her best friend's one-time boyfriend, an old persuit of hers as well. The woman slid into the water beside the man and gently transferred the little girl onto her own lap, a hand resting around her waist in a subtle hint of paternal love. "Yes, my daughter, she is quite a cutie isn't she?" Celeste smiled, her love for her child radiating from her face, even as her daughter rolled her eyes at her mother. She hated being called cute with a passion, but could never refuse her mother the adorable clothing she was always dressed in, it being a pleasure her mother liked to indulge herself in.
Joy then turned her attention onto the man that she still did not know. Her words were sharp, her eyes hard and her jaw set, she was in quite a disagreable mood, although her anger only served to make her look even more endearing. "This little lady, as you so charmingly put it, obviously has a name. It would be folly for a five year old as myself to not have one, even my mother would not be so absent brained. And, simply to satisfy you, it is Joy. I think it's quite probable that you know my godmother that I was named after."
Joy crossed her arms and glowered at Seth, her mother's laughter tinkled in the background as she hugged her daughter briefly. "Mind your manners Joy, If you do, I may let you pick your own wardrobe this afternoon." It had always been a ritual in her househould that Joy change three times a day in an assortment of little-girl clothes that would satisfy her mother's craving for adorbale things. If Joy got to pick it would be all black and her mother would pout, but at least she wasn't called cute.

Hideki nodded to the two siblings and then disappeared into the male's changing room, pausing uncertainly not to far in. Then his face lit up in realization and he dashed towards a locker, tail wagging happily. He tugged it open and grabbed out a pure black pair of swimming trunks that fell to his knees. Then, glancing around quickly, he stripped down and changed in a matter of seconds. He stuffed his clothing into the locker and then grabbed a towel on the way out to the springs again.
He was smiling slightly to himself, taill wagging briskly behind him. He hadn't been to the springs in a while. He was sort of pale, made a bit more obvious by the black suit, but it wasn't all that obvious. It was apparent he was fit and in shape though. He even had a nice little six pack to show off. Dusty brown hair lightly in his eyes, he looked around after realizing Coletta had moved, and found her again near the girl from before. Etty...? Yes, that was her name. He smiled towards the both of them and walked towards the water, plopping down on the edge and setting his towel behind him. He leaned forward, legs crossed Indian style, and peered into the water silently, but grinning rather broadly.

Seth smiled slightly and nodded as Celeste mentioned the little girl being a 'cutie', she was indeed a cute little girl, along with the rather adorable clothing Celeste seemed to enjoy fitting the young girl into. Seth was a bit taken back however, by the way the little girl began to lash out at Seth as if any adult would, with witty remarks to go along with the attitude. Despite the surprise and the apparent anger across her face, she still came across as a cute, little girl in her mother's lap..
"But of course, I do apologise.." Seth said with a stern look over his face and a nod, in a more serious tone than that of a playful one. Looking to Celeste, he smiled slightly. "You named her after Joy.. that's nice.." he said with a nod towards her, his eyes staring off into hers. He remained silent for a few moments, his eyes looking away from her for just a while before he looked to her once again "Who's her dad..?" he finaly managed to ask. Though he felt it wasn't any of his business to be asking such a question, he really couldn't hold it back any longer.

Fleurette had been watching Coletta and Matt curiosly. She couldn't tell what they were looking at or what they were saying.Eyes narrowed and face twisted in another annoyed expression, Etty watched Coletta move her hand forward and toss something onto her lap.She immediately knew what it was as it flew through the air.Cupping her hands as to catch her precious compass. As it lightly fell into her tanned, soft hands, Etty smirked.
Slipping the compass into the back pocket of her jean-skirt, she pulled out another small object.Standing up, Etty slowly made her way to the edge of the springs.Placing her hand over the water, her finger exposed a key.She released her hands from the key and it slowly started to sink. The key had the locker number that Matt's hat sat in.She didn't bother to tell him that it was in the women's changing room, instead she wanted to see him try to figure it out for himself.
As a chilling breeze flew by, Etty hair shifted, causing her to turn her head. Her sharp green eyes fell upon the fluffy wolf boy.She admitted she forgot his name slightly, but it didn't stop her from walking over.Knealing down beside him, her head tilted."You have a tail, but no ears?"Etty stated simply, her accent sharp and clear. She had been curious why he had a tail, but figured he was a hybrid of some sort. But still, they usually had at least ears and a tail, or..so she thought.Shrugging to herself, Etty scooted away from the edge of the springs, not wanting to go in.

Celeste grinned at Seth, happy with the way he had responded to her slightly eccentric daughter. Even at the question asked of her with apparrent tacktlessness, her smile was unfazed. In truth, he probably did not know Winter, or ever heard of him, so a simple name wouldn't do. Celeste paused in thought for a couple moments deciding how to phrase the answer. She opened her mouth the begin speaking, but her daughter beat her to it, fed up with the wait.
"Mommy fell in love with this weird guy named Winter. She was stupid back then so never told him about it, and he was Gay. One day some weird guy comes prancing along and decides to shoot mama's friend and then run away. She found Winter almost dead in the snow and couldn't save him with her magic. There was much crying and sadness, but mommy, being as twisted as she is, decides to take his essence, impplant it in her womb and get herself pregnant. And lo and behold nine months later out pops me!"
Joy presented this information in a straightforward, completely honest and slightly sarcastic and cynical way. She knew the story by heart and much preferred her own version then her mother's flowery and heart wrenching one. It was less boring.

Seth awaited for Celeste to gather her thoughts, he noticed he might have been a bit straightforward with this question, and his smile faded away as he looked into her eyes, awaiting for her to speak. Though just as she opened her mouth, the voice of a child began to speak for her, in a rather blunt, quick and straightforward manner, so much at once.. and yet Joy told this story as if it meant nothing to her, as if she was not at all bothered by this.. it was quite obvious the young girl was not one some would call 'normal', her level of intelligence was clearly not that of a five year old, though Seth never did expect her story to be this.. dramatic, to say the least.
After Joy finished, Seth remained silent for a few moments.. his mouth just slightly opened, almost in disbelief.. closing his mouth and moving his eyes back to Celeste, his eyes were caring and compassionate as he gathered all these thoughts.. as he remembered, just how hard Celeste's life had always been.. yet she still managed to display a smile, hold her daughter in her arms and make everything alright again.. he admired her so much for that.. her strong will.
"I.. I'm sorry.. if my question was.. a bit uncalled for" he said softly, hoping her memories wouldn't begin to trouble her.

Rekyi was confused. "Odd?" He asked, fidgeting a bit. He had thought about her alot while they were apart. They had just met but... It was like his body was attracted to her while his head told him to stay in his studies. He had no idea what his heart was "saying" or what to do or say anymore. All he knew was he wanted to hold her hand, be with her. It had never been this way before, so why now? Alone, his thoughts contradicted eachother, crazy and muddled, but here, in the springs, it was almost like the water had lifted a fog from his head.

Ashley glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, and then stared back at the water. "Yeah, odd. I didn't really hang out with people outside of class at all before coming here. This school is really different. I mean, who's ever heard of a school with hotsprings?" She laughed quietly, shaking her head in amusement before settling it on her knees once more. "It'll take some getting used to, I guess..." She pulled one hand from around her legs and trailed her fingertips along the water's surface, watching the ripples that spread from wherever she touched. It really was pretty enjoyable... She blinked once and then looked back at Rekyi. "Are you having fun?" she smiled, a little uncertainly. She knew she was probably really boring, just sitting there silently like she was.

Hideki remained seated at the edge of the springs, crouched there as his tail wagged happily behind him. He blinked once and tilted his head slightly, running his pale hand over the water's surface. Then his head jerked up, and he found himself face to face with Etty. His simply grinned. "Hello, love!" he cried cheerfully and then paused to consider what she'd asked.
"Yeah, that's true, isn't it? When I changed the first time, my tail stayed but my ears didn't. Before then I didn't have either." He shrugged slightly and looked back at the water. "Maybe I'm not a full wolf demon? Guess I'll never know." All the while he continued smiling broadly, hands trailing through the water. He wanted to get in, but now he was talking, so he waited a moment to see if she'd reply before he'd flop into the water. He would have asked her if she was going to swim, but it seemed pretty obvious she wouldn't, based on what she was wearing.

Mitsuki shrugged uncertainly, "Well, i think we should find a quieter area..." she said blushing quite a bit, due to all the people staring at her. "Or somewhere else." she suggested. She hated it whenever lots of people looked at her oddly.
"What do you suggest?" she asked, as she pushed her fingers together out of embarassment and nervousment.

He chuckled a little at her remark, but then answered her next question. "Of course," He said softer than normal. He moved his hand slowly through the water until it met hers. Pausing a moment, he pulled her up from the seat. "You want to swim around a bit?" He asked, blushing a little. He hoped she couldn't tell, with it being so cold and all, everyone was looking a bit rosy.

Ashley continued trailing her fingers through the water, blinking once when she was stopped by a hand. She glanced at it, and then up to Rekyi, almost looking confused as she was pulled from her seat. Her cheeks flushed a little more red as well, but she tired to ignore it. "Um, ok.." she nodded, glancing around and then back to him. Her eyes were widened very slightly, but it was barely noticable, and she really hoped he hadn't seen. She felt pretty lame that she blushed from his simply holding her hand.

After leaving Rille in the dining hall, Halcón walked slowly to the hotsprings. He changed quickly into a bathing suit when he got there, then slipped into an empty part of the co-ed springs. He sighed softly as the hot water surrounded him, and leaned against the edge of the spring, closing his eyes. Behind his long hair, he was frowning slightly. Damnit, why do those two girls have to be so stubborn? I'm going to have to do better, that's all. I am not letting our father kill Ananda, if it means I've got to drag her back home in chains. Actually....hmm, that's not a bad idea. No matter what Rille said, she can't be that much of a fighter. And I've been training for much longer than she has, anyways. That may just be the best answer to this whole mess.
