Thx, Harvey I like Escher myself pretty well.

It always amazed me how he though these drawings up and managed to have the capacity to translate them to paper so well. ^8^

As I mentioned in the other post my Colonoscopy went well and I am relaxing and resting well. ^8^

It's great to hear your colonoscopy went well. A doctor showed a video of his colonoscopy on the morning news this past week. I instantly thought of you. Nobody talks about what it's like afterward. Sounds like it leaves you tired.

It did leave me sort of tired and groggy.

I had to have an I.V for the sleepy med. they gave me for the sadation and then it was just an instant I was out like a light and then woke up in the recovery room an instant later not knowing a thing.

Of course I couldnt eat anything for a while before the Colonoscospy so I was extremely hungry and thirsty afterwards and had to eat something and get something to drink. lol

That's cool that they put you all the way out. I think Katie Couric was awake but drugged for hers. It would be a hard choice for me between the IV needle (eew) and being awake. Yeah I can imagine how hungry and thirsty you'd be after that procedure. Are you feeling back to normal now?
PostPosted: Mon Aug 23, 2010 12:54 am

I am pretty close to "Normal" now. I am still feeling......well not sure how to say it exactly like I have gained "Negative Sleep" some how from being knocked out for that short period of time.

So I have been feeling like I have been making it up for the last few days but everything else is okay, after that first meal after the Colonoscospy I was fine as far as hunger & thirst was concered. blaugh

I admit, I think for someone who hasent had one before it would be better to be sadated that way you dont think or see what is happening and feel so disacossiated from your body during the time they are working.

Whew this week started hectic. Looks like I'll have a huge to-do list all week. At least it's cooling off to 80s by day 60 by night. I hope your week is going well and your body has totally recovered from the colonoscopy.

Can you believe the giant recall of possibly contaminated eggs? Makes me even more interested in getting my own chickens. Now doctors are advising that we cook eggs all the way through. No more runny "over easy" eggs with runny yokes for me. crying

Dude, that sucks, I personally like Runny Eggs when I do eat them but I guess I will have to settle for scrambled for a while till the recall is over. crying

Or maybe hard boiled and sliced on a sandwich. Or egg salad. Or deviled eggs. Eggs are amazing.

WEEKEND!! *happy dance* Do you have any special plans? I'm gonna be the first one at the car repair shop. That way I can avoid waiting. That way I can rush back to my comp. I want to try the Frontier Skies game. In spite of all the notes complaining about glitches. Have you tried it lately? Is it getting better?
