Sorry, one more thing.

If gun control actually works to reduce the number of armed felonies where you are, I want to live there since I'm not allowed to carry here, ensuring that the only people who do carry are the ones willing to break the law in the first place, so I'm assuming if they'd break the law using a gun as a tool then they wouldn't mind breaking the law in order to obtain said tool.

yeah, dude, seriously... i mean, you may be pretty tough, but if there's a guy staring you down with an actual weapon, i'd put my money on him. and there's a chance that you COULD do it, but there's also a chance the other guy could too. and he is th e agressor- he has his weapon out and ready, he has the element of surprise, he has the upper hand. i don't know what you know about fighting, but i would advise you to not attempt anything against an armed person unless you have a significant upper hand, aside from your chain and size.

So... I was in Cape Breton today and yesterday. I'd tell you why but it's a long story. Actually, it's a rather short story that I could have told by now but it's too late.
Anyway, I saw a billboard that said, "take my hand, not my life." and I found it interesting that this entire community was Pro-life or at least not offended by the billboard outside their town (I forget which town, but it was in Cape Breton). Soon after I found out why... just outside that town wan "Mira River".
Mira causes pro-lifety. 4laugh

XD What can I say? It's a gift really.

Pyrotechnic Oracle
Thats why I carrey a metal chain every where with me. Technicly its a dog leash with the clasp hooked onto the metal loop connecting the length to the leather holder, but it works just fine.
Dressed like that you'd need the chain...

Good job at living McPhee. wink I'd have done the same thing. There are always plenty of things you'd think you'd do in a situation but when faced with the situation you tend to realise how stupid it was to think those things, fast.

@Mira: You need to share your gift like you share your STD's. biggrin

Everyone: NEVER buy Lever 2000 bar soap EVER, the company disguises it as something wonderful by the sensational aroma and light blue color, but no matter how much you rinse, it doesn't come off completely and causes itching and irritation! I'm dead serious, and not only that, but it tastes like salt. gonk

I just wanted to see what the kid from Christmas Story went through... sweatdrop

Maybe it's just because I didn't rinse good enough, but I spent a long while rinsing, and it won't quill the irritation... but don't worry, by morning my skin should be dry and cracked, so I shouldn't feel a thing. 3nodding

i've heard of cases where people have really soft skin, and if they use certain soaps they get all dry and itchy. i have a friend who has that, she has to use that johnson's baby soap stuff.

(I know I replied just after you posted, but I just happened to come in from running right when you submitted, not stalking you 3nodding )

I was joking about my skin drying and cracking; it's always soft, and the soap makes it more soft, but it still itches. In fact, it's so soft, that I wish I could cut off a piece and send it to you guys so you can rub your fingers on it and see how perfect it is. mrgreen
