Zeramaru's bugs sensed that hanzo was near during the time hanzo summoned tenka Zeramaru deactivated his mangekyo and unsumoned his puppets.
When he was grabbed everything at the scene of combat was gone except for the blue fire lightning hail but all the sand was gone... the maze was a genjutsu...

Destiny walked through the gates of the cloud village after being aloud to pass through she looked left from right looking around with her hands in the eahc sleeve of her kimono, scanning the town.

Sypher noticed this then immediately ran after his target while pointing in the direction he last saw abdiel. He followed Zeramaru and the man who took him as he was one of his targets.

Destiny noticed the two ninja's fighting and decided to observe them for more research on jutsus' and such. She jumped on top of the gate's top and sat watching.
