Jack shook his head. "Sorry...but...I haven't seen him in a few days." Jack sighed, relationships in Aqua were strange. "Maddy, I have a question. Please don't be offended and you don't have to answer if you don't want to."

Maddy shrugged. "Ask anything you want." She wondered slightly at what his question was.

Jack thought about how to word it. "What...well why do you like Ginji? What do you see in him?" He asked, truly curious.

"Errr... Well... I dunno, I never really thought about it... Geez.... Uhmmm..." She struggled to think of something to say. This question really caught her offguard. "Well, he's smart and we've been through a lot together. He's always been great company and it seems we've always been able to get along. He even saved my life... In fact, he's still saving it."

Jack looked confused. "Still saving it?" He thought about that for a moment. "You mean...is there something wrong? Do you have a virus?"

"Well, I'm not well... I'm still infected with the Shaids Virus. I have it under control now, but you never know when it may go out of control again... Plus I find it really tires me out anyways..." She paused for a couple seconds. "Ginji is the only one other than me that knows much about the virus now. He's been helping me fight it."

"Would love to, but I'm not feeling all that great today." She hugged her knees to her chest, shivering slightly. She was really pale tonight, almost ghost-like, and she was much thinner than usual. She couldn't even remember when the last time she ate was. "Hmm... I guess a game would keep my mind off things... What did you have in mind?"

Sammy walked in wearing her formal clothing; she was making sure they still fit for tomorrow. "Why is no one ever here when I come~?" She sighed, plumphing down on the couch.

"I'm here. 'Least now I am." commented Ike as he walked in the HQ after Sammy, in his regular attire. He found a seat on the couch as well and turned on the TV.

"Mr. Ike! I haven't seen you in awhile," Sammy greeted, glancing at the TV for only a moment. "What's up?"

"Field work. Couldn't find a thing on Cyrus. I don't think he's even in Sinnoh." Ike sighed. "Who knows."
The TV was set to Hoenn TV news, and as they exited the commercials, music started to play as Gabby behind the news desk came into view.
"Mt. Chimney acting up. Scientists have little explanation for why the volcano is acting so strangely." she said, introducing the top stories, "A group of trainers ban together in Fortree City to save wild pokemon from a wind storm. We take an inside look on the story. And finally, a ring of robberies in Sinnoh have been baffling police for two weeks now. Hear how local police forces are stepping up to protect the public. This is Hoenn TV Evening News."
Ike slouched in his seat, interested in all three stories.
"So how've you been?" Ike asked Sammy. He'd been away from the team for awhile and felt a distance.

Sammy thought about how her secret had been revealed and shuddered. "Fine," she responded, also looking at the TV. "Hmm... Weird stuff."
