Kiri and Kumo, mostly Kiri though I might be a bit biased lol. Ghost is doing something in Oto, mostly tieing up an old plot I think.

Hm. I'm interested in getting back into things... seems like I do that every summer. I am unsure if I should get involved in Kiri or not. Always wanted to, but most of the players have always been on a different time zone than me.

I'm the kind of person that when I do RP, I like to make 10 or so posts a day. I managed to train a genin by myself back when I was in Konoha. The only problem with being in a different time zone is that if you want to RP a scene, it might take a few weeks just for one session because both sides have to wait 12 hours in order for the other party to be awake to post.

I'm just one who hates waiting, so it's rare that I get into forum RP's at all. I got into this one because it had a clearly defined system. I actually haven't really read naruto in a long time. I just kind of lost interest... but I never lost interest in a good RP. So I keep coming back here.

Join New Oto. Sure, we're under the totalitarian rule of an oppressive and possibly evil clan, but we've gt all the modern necessities and as of now are under the management of guy who posts just as much as you do if not more. So once again, if you hate waiting, wait just a little longer for new Oto to come around. We're evil, but only because if we're not, innocent civilians pay the price. blaugh Have a nice day. New Oto, coming soon. Warning: New Oto may not actually be as happy as described, possible side effects include a evil Otokage out for world domination, a self-whorshipping nazi like clan opressively ruling over your every move, and a new breed of secret police to watch your every solitary action. New Oto is not for everyone, please consider fleeing and becoming a missing Nin before use. rofl

If so, Oto sounds like a good place to be. 3nodding

confused Are you kidding? Crazy war hungry characters are going to be peeerfect. Right now I'm wrapping up the previous plot lines and getting the Otobe in the ruling position, and after that I'm going to need crew help reorganizing some of the threads around and such for the new image.
For example rather than ANBU the new regime will have the secret police. Which will essentially be a bunch of Otobe in Japanese style police cloaks who maintain order...by any means necessary with a few exceptions allowed in to the police for their skills or loyalty to the Otobe.
The Former Ninja of Oto will be forced to swear loyalty to the new Otobe regime, and many will be under surveillance by a member of the secret police, I.E. Jounin instructors will probably be "Knights" (what they call they're jounin) from the Otobe clan, or member's of the police, as they're trying to control the minds of the youth. I'll be creating NPC's to sort've serve as the bones and structure of this new ruling system, and player characters can come in and fill in the blanks where they feel suited. It'll be very hierarchy based given the Otobe's attitude and philosophy on superiority.
Hopefully soon I can get Oto back on it's feet with this brand new kick start. If you wanted to check out the situation in Oto right now, feel free. I'm planning on getting this whole thing off the ground fairly soon, so keep an eye out.

This sounds very similar to the ideas I had regarding Kusa back when I was planning on rebooting it. Minus the secret police stuff xd
But I think the character I make may or may not be from the village itself. I'm guessing that with a huge takeover, it'll take a while to get experienced ninja from scratch. Jounin don't exactly pop out of nowhere.
Of course, I'll go with whatever you redesign it as. I can't assume anything.
But did we ever change the rule regarding dual weapons? I remember it was only one handed before... But to me if you can wield a buster sword with one hand, i see no reason why you can't fight with two halberds or something.
And while you're doing that Ghost... I should find another place to RP as well.
