A crow is fluttering clumsily over to land near edan. It is carrying a little bundle that is nearly too heavy for it.

Angie is in bed and is watching Richard with a curious expression.

Violet has set out grits with bacon and biscuits!

Nat is back at Byron's house. He is creeping out of the closet in his bedroom.

The crow hops back and caws at him in a grumpy way. Inside the bundle is a chocolate pastry wrapped in paper, and a little note that says 'EAT UP!'
