Quote: Unlike the other elves Drow are as fertile as humans or orcs. They can have up to ten times the number of births as females from the other elven races. Multiple pregnancies of two three or even more common, but actual multiple births are very rare. The strongest of the foetus eliminates the others. It is not clear if this is a bizarre twist on the phenomena seen rarely in humans. Sometimes in humans the strongest twin takes all the placental nourishment and the other withers or if the unborn actually attack each other. The losing foetuses are absorbed into the mother’s body so they cannot be examined to establish what actually happens. Another phenomena seen in humans is that a stronger twin can move about a lot more than a weaker one, and cause the second twins umbilical cord to become blocked. When a foetus succeeds in eliminating a rival the mother experiences an intense rush of euphoria known as “chad-zak”. This is also unclear. It may be purely hormonal, or perhaps a warped form of the bonding other elven mothers experience with their unborn children. he birth process is painful, but not very dangerous for the mother. However she does not experience the usual rush of pleasurable hormones when the child is delivered, or the close bonding most mothers experience when the newborn infant is placed to their chest. Neat. ^^ Since all the elves were pregnent, I wanted to know if there was any info avalible on length of pregnacy (because elves arn't human). THis is as close to that information that I found. Neat, how the babies kill eachother early one (making the mommy feel good) ((Starry this isn't aimed at you, its just something amusing I found))

I found an essay semi-historical in nature, but mostly considered pure liturature, that follows Elves and Sex as Tolkien (father of modern Elves, re-introducing classical elves to superimpose upon the pixies commonly associated with the word). http://www.ansereg.com/what_tolkien_officially_said_abo.htmIts pretty vulgar and would fail as a essay submission, but it uses Tolkien texts. This is why you should make a suggestion in the suggestion box.

Shadow of Twilight In light of your suggestion. May I suggest we see some more of the political interests at work. Jiscal right now seems to have it relatively easy...lets see how things act when Jiscal and Malik are interested in the same thing perhaps and what thier willing to do to attain it. (ie the Purian Penninsula as an ally) more interactions perhaps with locals in certain areas. Honorsfield and Deepwater. what nobles are willing to work with whom, or try to persuade whom. Surely some of the nobility, with Tarathiel/Kimmuriel out of the picture, are more willing to try to get certain laws revoked. like the use of slaves or taxations. How has moonstone's doctor practice affected Honorsfield and Deepwater? Or Onyx's presence in teh outerlying areas. Without the Oracle's power did more come to rely on the shamanistic Simon, if they coudl find him...or is he as he's been, a recluse interested in his own life and his daughter's well being? We need a little more life to the major cities, I think. ^^

Unfortunately, I need to go to sleep. Had this been a few weeks ago, I'd continue, but alas, I need to correct my sleeping habbits.

I didn't wait long.
Hmm..maybe I'll cut my plans down a bit then.
But then..planning might cause some action...but not for as long as I had planned initially. ^^

Better just to not melt my brain and go with how it goes, and concern myself with what I am going to be doing when the time comes.
