Grunting a response, the dragon continued to beat it's mighty wings in between bouts of sailing on the wind. He wasn't all that great on multi-tasking, and he had almost forgotten the girl could speak the Drakonic language.

Rage simply sat quietly, his back to Owle as they approached the Firebrand. If what Owle said was true....

((Yeah, switching threads. I kind of want to wait for Sun to post before we enter the other thread, though.

And, Owle's done with Rain. She just wanted to make sure he was alright, and now that she's seen him, she's satisfied.))

Tijae simply smiled at KB's back as she all but purred, stretching her tiny body out to it's full length on the bed they'd made such a mess of. The bed clothing hide the parts it should've, but that really made it all that alluring.

"And if I don't want to go just yet?" She purred as she sat up, letting the material drape down her form as she held the sheet to her chest. She wasn't quite ready to move just yet, so she was enjoying toying with him, just as he had her.

That just made Tijae laugh, "I think you underestimate our prey if you think I would distract him. There is a reason he left me behind after all..." There was a deep smirk on her face as she kept her eyes locked with his, and began to stand up, the material sliding off to reveal her surprisingly long legs. She was at least modest enough to keep the sheet at her chest, although it did just tend to accentuate what you couldn't see.

"Besides...it's not that hard to sense him if you really try..."The sheet dropped as she reached up to run her fingers through her hair to give it a quickie combing.

She didn't even listen as he lectured, finishing her stretching before digging around to find her jeans and top. They were both made easy to slip on and off, so it really wasn't that hard, nor did it take much time. So it was just a moment or so later that Tijae padded from the room, paying KB no mind at all.

"Hmm...where to now..." As if KB didn't even exist and she was making her own plans. "Ah...there you are..."speaking as she closed her eyes and focused. She then stepped forward, handing a few gold bits to the woman who stood there staring at the two of them in shock.

"T...thank you..." The woman stammered before fleeing downstairs. This Gaia was so strange...

"Sir? Sir, please stop a moment! You can't leave!" a nurse begged the bandaged and broken man. She went to reach out to grab him to pull him back, but hesitated and decided against it in fear of causing him more harm than good.

"It's alright. I have to go." he said, not ceasing his lurching gait.

"Sir, I must insist you stay in bed and rest! Your wounds won't heal if you're up and about so soon! Please, listen to reason!" she cried out to him, clearly flustered. How was he even walking? Yesterday, the doctor had said this man wouldn't even be able to get up under his own power until several weeks later!

"You don't... you know nothing about... my wounds." was her reply, as he neared closer and closer to the door.

"You stay here, I'm going to go get a doctor..." she started, beginning to back off.

"You'll do no such thing." He paused, turning his head to give her a steely glare from his single eye. She froze in place, unsure how to react, and just watched him turn back to the task at hand: getting out of the hospital. A simple task, when the automated doors slid open as he approached.

Rain Yupa had less than a month to live now. And he was going to go see the one man who had the power to save him now. The man he was on the way to see before he sidetracked to the Arena the day before.

His next destination: A~E Headquarters.

"Excellent." He nodded to her, thankful for her help in the matter. She would find Sun in due time, he only hoped to have the young man first. Throwing away his compass for the sake of impatience was a foolish choice, but KB was willing to gamble on it. If he could get the young man before she did, he could harden himself against her sexual advances and be rid of her. There was no need to share such precious blood after all, if one could horde it to oneself.

KB took but a few quick, driven steps before vanishing in a smoky flurry of negative energy. The whirling mass of draining decay soon dissapated in his wake, leaving but a few curious onlookers and the morning sun.
